How am I contradicting myself? Because in my post I said, I would rather not hear the "I didn't get time" part of the statement, but I'd still accept the proposal. "I didnt get time" is so flippant & just wouldnt sit well with me, but that's just my tendency to be over-analytical about stuff people say.

If this happened in real life, my life, I'd react to that badly but still accept the ring after it's all said & done
