Hey Gurus, Please help!!!

I've been denied an f1 visa twice in less than a month (April 22 and May 9 this year), and now I've just scheduled another appointment for next week Friday at 7:30am in Abuja consulate.

First denial was due to the fact that I couldn't prove where to work after studies,.second denial was on the premise that its unusual for my uncle to invest so much on my education and that it was impossible for my current employers which I've worked with for only a year as for my return on completion of my studies. But truly my uncle is willing to pay and I have a letter from my employers requesting my return but the VO could not believe.

What document can I use to defend these? I have my Uncle's Dominiciary acct statement with about $120k in it while my education costs $31,000 and in addition, the affidavit of sponsorship which he personally signed. In my DS 160 I openly stated that I've been denied an f1 visa cos I was unable to prove that my uncle is willing and capable to sponsor me. would his acct statement and the affidavit of sponsorship be enough to prove? or do I need a kind of letter of introduction from him? As for my company employing me on my return, what document can I use to back up that claim? tax clearance cert? cert. of incorporation? audited account?

Please help,..I'm tired of going to Abuja...Even the guy at GTBank said he's tired of collecting my money...I want this to be the last. I need this visa....Please help ASAP to help me get prepared on time. God bless you all

Majority of VOs are tired of seeing documents for F-1 visas, so prove verbally your uncle can actually sponsor you and that, you're not an intending immigrant. grin

You're also lucky he or she told you why your visa weren't approved. Normally, they do not. The VO loves you.

Look for a sort of partial or full-scholarship before you re-apply and after that, you'll get the visa.

Thanks a bunch for your concern...The VO gave me those reasons because I was bold to ask him after I was rejected a second time.
It may be difficult to get a scholarship now because I've already schedule an appointment for next week Friday. I just need advise on how to get it done successfully.

I'm tired of reading this too. Two denials within a month and the third one coming if care is not taken. Chill friend. Like someone said, work on getting assistantship first, then all this uncle and job story may like valid.

Absolutely, if care is not taken the third may come but you want to be careful to prevent the third denial from coming.... the reason you're open for suggestions. That's a correct statement and an advise but never any wish. I know how it feels for you right now but read my post carefully.

Hello Good Morning House,am a silent reader on the platform and appreciate your contribution on this forum, please i will need directions and guide on how to pay my Sevis Fee and when to pay for visa application fee as well.

Your good response will be highly appreciated.

Thanks
just go online to fmjfee site to fill out a coupon.
sevisfees is 200$ but if u want it express..its 10$ extra. u cant pay it in nigeria..u have to go outside naija. most people go to semeborder in cotonou(honestly i nor kn wetin dem de find de go der kinda too expensive) or if u have someone in d us to help u pay...its fine.

all u have to do is gv d coupon/account number to d pesin paying for u or d cashier at seme.

it should reflect in no more than 2hrs. thanks

It's not a function of assistantship. it only boosts your chances. I've seen people with full funding that still got denied. Let him go through this thread. Send the visa interview link to him.
He would be fine.

don't be sad bro..u gonna get it this time. but post your first and second transcript so we can diagnose wink

i always tell people that getting a us visa is not location dependent but God dependent. About 2 years back i even thought of scheduling at Abuja because people have slightly stereotyped abuja embassy that they are more lenient than the Lagos embassy. this however is not true because they have proven even tougher and dashing out denials than Lagos embassy.

for your case bro. i am not sure about a domiciliary statement of account(the bosses will soon throw more light on this though wink). i also think you should omit that reason for your denial from your ds160, you can just replace it with "failure to establish home ties .

sometimes when you answer the questions correctly and confidently, you wont be asked a single document. its all about convincing the vo. marketing yourself.
thanks.

Good Day Sir,

Hope this message meets you well.

I pray that you get the visa this time. However, sometimes it's good to try other options as well, maybe God might be directing you somewhere else. That been said, you can try canada as well.

My story, I tried so hard in 2009 to get a Chinese student visa to go for my MBA but I was denied. I was depressed and a friend advised me to go for Canada which I did and got the visa.

Now I'm here, getting the passport in matter of weeks coupled with a 10yrs USA B1 visa and a good paying gig. Please, I mean no disrespect but you might want to think about what I've said.

Thank you and enjoy the rest of your day.
