Hardmirror, I read part 1 and part 2(didnt finish both but read enough) and the people and places you mentioned are real. Dr agunloye, futa, Pastor Sola Areogun, ọba ńlá etc. However I find it very very difficult to reconcile your stories with your comments and replies to believers who are engaging you in a war of words.
I can't believe you actually had those experiences ( Word of knowledge & discernment of spirits).

You seem to me like any other regular 'hatist' (different from atheist). The hatist (my own coinage) actively opposes anything that has to do with God, faith and religion. They go as far as bringing texts from the books of religions to attack the adherents of that religion. Some characteristics they all share is Anger, hate and an incredible ability to insult. You can go through your own comments and that of your new found friends to see for yourself.

An ATHEIST on the other hand doesn't believe in God, doesn't care about religion, doesn't even talk or think about it.

I was once threading the dark and lonely Road to atheism / hatism ( 2014, no thanks to NAIRALAND) however, what I came to realise was that Atheism has NO ANSWERS!!! It just resorts to science, logic, experiences, stories (either true or untrue) and 'contradictions' in various religious books. It always looks for and rests on something else. It can't stand alone.
Science on its own is neutral (both atheist and religious people can be successful scientists). Science can't make a right thinking believer become atheist or vice versa. I'm a science student so I know this well.

Well, I wish you well on your new path. I won't pray for your redemption or your destruction ( neither of them interest Me) .

However, let me show you a verse that helped me a lot

He like most other people have a choice to serve God. The boy whose case I cased you to discourse will most likely grow up and die a firm believer in God. Go to mosques all over nigeria, you will see all manner of handicapped people even in worse situation than Pastor Nick, because they are not only handicapped but in abject poverty and hopelessness. Yet the pray to God without complaining 5 times everyday.
How is that a proof of God's existence.

My request is basic and straight forward. Let us pray for this boy's miracle. Or have you written God off even before praying?

There was a lovely lady that commented several times earlier. Love that lady. She read thru and posted my message was not for her we laughed about it and she left. She remains a christian (most likely). But for those giving silly analogies I will call a spade a spade.

i never said that handicap people believing in God is a proof of God's existence, so don't be more clever than yourself. It is very clear that belief in God transcends, overcomes and overrides disability and handicap, a point you firmly hinge your atheism on. You don't believe in God primarily because there is suffering and people are not healed etc, that is proven baseless and crying more than the bereaved.
My answer is basic and straight forward, there is NO point praying for the boy's miracle in the context of God's existence. God healing or not healing him does not do anything, i reminded you of countless miracles past already. Miracles are not guarantee of people coming to God, as you yourself have agreed that even deep pain and poverty does not stop people from believing and praying to God. God's hands are not itching Him neither is He desperate to work any miracle. Two, there are gifts of the Spirit which i already mentioned. Remind us why we need to pray for the boy again?

I'm usually classified an homosapiens sapiens. As to what kind of pastor I am, I would say that I was the most flavoursome kind. The kind you'd love to just wrap your arms around and squeeze gently as you handle and caress.

PastorAIO is one of the most spiritual on this platform. His spirituality is so simple and down to earth that it is highly difficult for conditioned and biased minds to understand.

My advice is to read his writings with the heart, and to love him and everyone as they are.

Even this is not such a simple question. Do you mean as a historical figure? If so, then I believe that plenty of jara has been added to the history of the historical figure. In fact it may actually be more than one historical figure rolled into one.

If you mean Christ as a spiritual experience, then yes I have experiences that I identify as Christ.

I imagine that my case is so different from the 'norm' that one could quite easily declare that I am not a christian. After all if we keep hearing that Catholics are not christians then what chance have I got. Either way, I'm not really bothered.

That image was clearly made by someone who does not actually understand the topic of human evolution and thought he was being smart. Humans are not the progeny of chimpanzees -- what the image was probably referring to us having "millions of fossils of". The (now extinct) common ancestor we share with chimpanzees was an ape (as we are) that shared some characteristics with both chimps and humans, but was not "chimp" or "human" and had some unique traits of its own. We have very few fossils of all our ancestral species (& all extinct species) due to the very meticulous & rare process of fossil formation.

God is not eager to heal anyone... perhaps he is not eager to help the needy too. He just wants to sit on the throne and receive praises he does not deserve.
according to you, ones situation shouldnt stop one from believing in God... so what should make one believe in God?
