No I bought exactly the one pictured by Chinedu and its working very well!
please what Was the model type and the number of that decoder

Follow this step from chinedu7 : You are close, now you need to drop your lnbf so
deep to 32 or 34 mark. It's unconventional, strange
but it will give you extra 6%. Good luck.
Try this and report back to the house.

please what do you Mean by dropping the lmb to 32 or 34 mark, is it number on lmb Please put me through I got 80, %

I've adjusted my Nta to 86%,I'm doing a blindscan now!

Guys I think is all about the set up how to place and position your lnb, i have try three different lnb strong old long lnb , supermax brown lnb and super California lnb and they are all giving me 90% on my 1. 8m dish with nta tp(3759H\3779). So I suggest those not getting the required percentage should patiently play around you lnb and most importantly the position and the placement of fibre or dielectric.

pls assist me on how to Increase my nta signal which just drop to 79% but to 80% at night thanks
@80% you cant get Sport24 atleast 87%+ you need to adjust your dish and play with your lnb in and out.position your lnb @6 o'clok is the best option
Re: Free To Air Satellite Tv General Thread by ben1daEbiri(m): 6:39pm On May 13, 2016
@Manirk,chinedu7...I got 86% on my Nta but still can't get sp24 unlike yesterday my nta was 84%,should i place my dielectric on V or H?This bird is really tricky

What's the placing of your dielectric and your location?I could get only 86% on my 1.8m,lnb is supermax and location is ikot-ekpene!

Re: Free To Air Satellite Tv General Thread by ben1daEbiri(m): 6:50pm On May 13, 2016
I've converted the dish to a pole mount,I didn't track on it because it's not yet dry,I hope i get extra signal with this!

Try it without your dielectric and see. Also try adjusting your lnb skew between 8 & 10 o clock. But then at 86% of NTA, its supposed to pop out via blind scan. Mine is 84% and it popped out!

Did you remove your dielectric when blindscanning?what t.p did you get ur sp24?

Vertical, and don't drop the plate too deep.

What is wrong with your ground mount is the absence of the three angle holders, without them the dish will be dropping down under strong wind, that was why you experienced signal loss last night. You could have exercised little more patient before converting it to pole mount. Ground mount is easier to move around, that is the advantage but you installed it wrongly though it's not the reason why you don't get Sports24 rather it was the reason why you lost signal.

I tracked without dielectric. Same tp you know 04090H20668. Hi discovered my NTA had signal advantage on H more than V. My sp24 is BTW 47-48%

Concentrate on the H. Skew your lnb to 10o clock!! You are almost close. Blind scan without your dielectric and report back.

That is why you can't get it, NTA is h and Sports24 is V and because NTA has strong signal, if you change to V, the signal will drop but still shows, that won't happen with Sports24 because the signal isn't strong and it's not h, so you must turn the plate to V and try to improve the NTA to 86, then all your suffering will end.

So you mean i should track my Nta with V Above 82%?

Re: Free To Air Satellite Tv General Thread by folex(m): 8:10pm On May 13, 2016
@ Chinedu, its all about the way you position and skew the lnb. From my experience, my NTA on v was 81% while that of H was 84% so I concentrated on getting the best signal level on H, then blind scanned to get Sp 24.

Your target is Sports24 not NTA or AFN(Both H). It will be difficult for you to get Sports24 on H. Only a sports24 signal up to 52% on V can work on H, and it be like 47% on H. That's why your best bet is to track with V because Sports24 is V. Even if you track with H and have NTA at 87% Sports24 will come out.

I couldn't even figure out how to fix them?can you help me with pictures, the dish doesn't have assembling manual, maybe that could help increase my signal...my nta @ H is 86% but couldn't get sp24,on V is 82%

If you get Sports24 on H, then you don't have more than 50% signal quality and it also means if you change to V, you will achieve 51% - 52%. Your NTA also must be up to 90% if I am not mistaken.

Haaah, this is even getting more confusing,my NTA at H is 86%,why can't i just get it?

Look at the three holders at the back.

thanks but will that help improve my signal?my major reason for converting to pole mount is because of space!

Because Sports24 polarisation is Vertical, placing your plate Horizontally means weakening the signal strength of Vertical TPS on that Satellite, unfortunately in this case it's Sports24.

So i should change my dielectric to v?
