A group of youths bearing a coffin with inscription "RIP Subsidy", took to the streets of Abuja today to celebrate the "death of subsidy" in Nigeria. More photos after the cut.

with all the oil we are producing, we are still buying for 145 per litre when a barrel is being exchanged for 37 dollars, i a forced to imagine how much a small country like Benin republic that has no oil will be paying for fuel.

The reality is waiting for them at home. The last time I checked, one bag of rice is #17k, one rubber custard of garri is #600, 1 litre of kerosene is #150, 10 seed of okro is #150, my estimated NEPA bill is #5300 even when having light is now rocket science. They should continue!

The VP made it clear that PMS increment is not as a result of subsidy removal. So which subsidy are these ones burying. I'm Just tired of this country. Official confusion everywhere!

I don't understand, are they against or for?
