If we kept on paying the subsidy.....their future would have really been in an even worse state.

We were wasting money on subsidy. Now...thanks to the removal...which should have happened back in 2012...were it not for Nigerians who cannot see beyond their daily needs.....we can start saving...and hopefully spending more on making Nigeria have a diversified economy free of oil.

But for now, we cannot continue to live as if oil is at $123 per barrel. It is below $50 per barrel. Wise leaders of oil dependent economies like Nigeria know that that is the time to cut costs....whether PDP or APC or Army.

with all the oil we are producing, we are still buying for 145 per litre when a barrel is being exchanged for 37 dollars, i a forced to imagine how much a small country like Benin republic that has no oil will be paying for fuel.

sweetheart, it's true we produce crude oil but we don't refine it to PMS, we import PMS. if you follow the politics of the PMS subsidy, you will know that we have been subsidizing for Benin Republic.

U don't get it, at 145npl there is no need to pay subsidy, cus 145npl was gotten at an exchange rate of 280. There is notin like subsidy in the 2016 appropriation bill.
