Are you saying the embassy didn't give you password to the email they opened for you and how manage its the embassy that opened the email for you which sounds strange to me because am hearing this for the first time.

I find it hard to believe that embassy will open an email for you so as to use it book for your appointment for visa interview which is 100% wrong.

Are you saying embassy is now a business centre or cyber cafe that opened email for people gringringrin

I hope it's not those people/touts you calling embassy

Hello Everyone, please i need an advice. I and my wife applied for USA visa last year Nov and we were refused... my uncle who lives in Florida invited us back then but the consular didnt ask us much question before we were refused.

My questions are:

1, i applied as a self employed with a certain business name but i am now into another business, can i use the new business documents to apply?

2, we intend to go to New York this time for holiday and we will be renting an holiday apartment, is that advice-able or is it a must that my uncle still invite us?

Please your advice will be much appreciated.

I felt so bad that I couldn't sleep well last night. Wanted the English team to win especially the two hand balls in the 18 yard box against the Spanish side.

Anyway, in sport, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.

Hello Charlfay,
My honest advise to you now considering the age (even though is not a barrier , is just a number grin ), write GRE and get a good score, apply for MSc in biochemistry (hoping you get good funding for this program to cover the 'finances').
With the above you stand a good chance of getting student visa by God's grace. not forgetting your end goal, still be looking out for a good school that offer BSc Nursing (you can switch course, degree or school along) don't ask me how yet.

on the alternative, you can still apply to schools for BSc Nursing now. google is your best friend on this.
The question you asked about community school (sorry I have no response to that) but, I think you should start first before the switch.

What's your academic profile like?

charlfay:
Goodday everyone, I have bn a silent follower here, I read dis thread every day, started following from part 1. I have been having this American dream for two years now, i tok the toefl exam lat year, aND lIke play lIke play, my toefl will expire by november 2017 but mehn finances have just been posing as an hindrance. I have few questions to ask please

1. I have a BSc in biochemistry from a nigerian uni, but I would like to go for BSc Nursing in America, hope age wouldn't be a barrier to going for a second bsc degree considering the fact that am 27years old

2. If I have the intentions of transferring from university to a community college probably after the first semester in d Uni, am I suppose to apply to the community college while still in nigeria or its when one arrives in yankee before you can apply to the community college?

Thanks for your responses

Sir, I don't know when US embassy turned to gmail company where they generate email address for applicant..

I will suggest you call the US embassy that you claimed they generated email address for you and complain to them..

Lemme help with the following questions below;

1, when the email was generated do you create password yourself

2, does the email match with your names? If not then it's not for you at all.

3, do you use public or private computer/laptop? Maybe it was someone's email that was saved as auto fill on the browser that automatically filled the email box which you claimed that was generated from the website.

I advice you to call US embassy to rectify it or send message to the email and asked the owner to forward the stuff to you..

I hope you understand me better now?

sofadj: I intend to go to University of Maryland College park to pursue a Masters' degree program in public health. The program is to run for 18 months ...( I mumbled the ending part, she kept nodding while typing). After which I hope to have acquired sufficient skills to help play my part in reducung the burden of diseases on Nigerians

V.O: What do you do currently?....
I wasn't as coherent and fluent as it seems here, i paused, hanged, at some time while answering but I still went on. I was not over trying to make an impression.

MAIN ADVICE: Relax and talk from the heart. KNow your points but dont cram a speech.
