distinguished sirs, i would want to acknowledge the fact that I didn't make myself very unequivocal to you all the gmail account was generated from the embassy website directly bcs you can't use the old one you have. so my appointment is Monday but I need to open that mail to print my schedule. I hope I am properly understood now?? its actually a J1 visa...

To my good brother saying I v never been in front of a monitor before...well everyman is entitled to his own opinion though... but pls let's all be receptive in answering questions....thanks all

If my memory serves me right, you can also log in to the us embassy interview booking site and print out your interview details. Or have you forgotten your login details to that as well?

Hello Charlfay,
My honest advise to you now considering the age (even though is not a barrier , is just a number grin ), write GRE and get a good score, apply for MSc in biochemistry (hoping you get good funding for this program to cover the 'finances').
With the above you stand a good chance of getting student visa by God's grace. not forgetting your end goal, still be looking out for a good school that offer BSc Nursing (you can switch course, degree or school along) don't ask me how yet.

on the alternative, you can still apply to schools for BSc Nursing now. google is your best friend on this.
The question you asked about community school (sorry I have no response to that) but, I think you should start first before the switch.

What's your academic profile like?

Thanks Cal, actually that Gre dey fear me because of the maths, I don't like maths,in fact am very bad at maths. That's why am trying to avoid gre by opting for another bsc. And again I have passion for nursing, which is another reason for wanting to change course.
Academic Profile: BSc Biochemistry
CGPA: 2.75/5, 2.85/4

Masters I de go for o.. If your school can change your i20 to transfer student fine.. Prepare for questions like this, why are you transferring to this school? Why this time you wanna transfer? .. Once you can be the driver and VO is d conductor, you are good..

Ok , why am i transferring this time , i will need to just find a genuine reason . my university here is not equipped with the latest up to date software and hardware to compare with the current world globalisation

If someone helps me pay the SEVIS fee in the USA would it not reflect the adress in the USA. Considering telling the VO that you have nobody in the US

Before u ask for transfer from your school, did you send in your Nigerian school transcript? Was it evaluated to tell you what courses u have left to take? Did you graduate? If yes when? How many months duration do you have on your I-20?

This are the factors to consider for transfer. If you answer no to more than one am afraid you might not be able to get a transfer I-20

It's not possible to pay in Nigeria.
You are the one filling your i90 yourself with your Nigerian Address
Western Union does not carry the address of the payer on your record
The embassy understands this process.

Check this ....... I made a transfer because my university here is not well equipped with the up to date software and hardwares to compete with the versatile world globalisation

It's the address that you filled when filling payment coupon form is what will reflect but you can change it after payment
