There's no average grade indication on the WASSCE certificate. We only have the subjects and each grade to it, hence I do not know what to input in the field of "average grade". The field is asterisked, hence without filling it, I can't go further with my online application. Please help look into this and let me know what to do if u've had this kinda experience before.

I thought about that too initially bro. But if I write my University CGPA as average grade under University Entrance Qualification, then that means I have to repeat same CGPA under Final grade for University degree. I'm thinking maybe I should do just that if it would be accepted. After all, they will receive all my hard copy documents. They should evaluate and get the UEQ grade themselves.

For UEQ it's always the code - 99, so that's what u shd use. that's the code for Nigeria UEQ

It ain't working bro. I tried the code -99 but the response I got was... "validation error: Specified attribute is not between the expected values of 1 and 4.
I've typed my University Final CGPA there and It accepted it.

hi and thanks for the reply. what do you mean actual grade? 3rd class here in nigeria starts from below 2.5 i think. well he hasn't gotten his transcript yet so doesn't know the actual grade yet. and well, you're correct anybody can finish with third class.

My dear, why don't you mail the prospective schools? Tell them your studies was done in English, and see if they can waive it for you or accept a letter from your school or ministry of education stating that your studies in Nigeria was completely done in English.

The thing is, Daad.de will still help, you just go through this process, if you see the school and Program of your choice, go to their website, look for the requirements, if not clarified enough, you can mail them. I know of Mannheim Universität, Humboldt, Freie, Potsdam, I think Justus Gessen. Just take your time and do what I told you.

It's not about the class but the grade, in the sense that your grade would be converted to the equivalent grade in the German system. Thus in this system the grade itself is what counts and not necessarily the class of the grade, so a 3.75 is 1.9 in the German grade while 3.6 is 2.0, even if both grades are tagged second class upper.
