not a bad idea...pics are my Laboratory--instruments are GC's , atomic Absorption , ICP and ICP-MS, JET FUEL THERMAL OXIDATION TESTER, last pic work area... ...unlike some of you, I barely sit down lol though the comfort is outside the lab in our break-room

meanwhile, I've taken pics showing fire extinguishers strategically located all over ....My lab is one of the best I've seen even ExxonMobil dey respect the best part is the one that deploys from the ceiling during fire outbreak.

I have seen them and I also compliment the effort of your company in ensuring and promoting Occupational Health Safety and Environment

I can see you well equipped for the job but you can still improve your Occupational Health Safety and Environmental standards. Grinding is under hot work and you will need to have Fire extinguisher around you, First aid box around you and a tool box by your side and not having tools behind you as you will have to turn and twist to get those tools when you need them while working and this can contribute to muscular skeletal disorders. I will advice you also wear the right clothing for the job such as fire resistant overall and also hand gloves.

Remember Safety is your responsibility

Do you use SMPS circuits for your power supplies or transformers?

i use transformers from ac to dc. But voltage regulators for dc to dc. Please can i add you on bbm or you add me. I need you to give me some simple circuits to build so i can improve. I plan taking a course on microcontrollers. Did you learn all you know from a Nigerian University or what. Cos uniben no dey teach like dat oh.

If that is your work station then I think you should improve on your Occupational Safety Health and Environmental Standards by implementing ergonomic standards such as clearing underneath the table so that your legs can have enough space for relaxation and smooth blood flow in the leg region. Really you are stressed if you truly work there for 8 hrs 5/6 days a week.

Also consider getting a chair that is designed to ergonomic standards this will reduce your stress level and burst your productivity and efficiency.

If you work on the computer for long ensure your computer has a screen to shield your eyes from rays or you can buy transparent glasses.

Its good to love what you like doing but I hope you don't expose yourself to noise for more than 4 hours when working. According to Occupational Health Safety and Environmental Standards when working around noise you should expose your self to a maximum of 4 hrs after which u take a break.
