whatever is happening in Niger delta now is as a result of the foundation laid by the ex-generals during the military regime which unless we change the structure of government we will never get it right.
Can you just tell me why,
We cannot revert to true federalism?
We can't allow Biafrans be?
We can't stop the killings?

The questions are many and until we answer them there will never be peace
If you think Biafra, if allowed to happen will be united, you have another thing coming. The segregation within Delta state itself is so much that they asked for the state to be divided further so as to get Anioma state. So if Biafra think if they split they will have oil, there are decieving themselves.

its not all about oil but the people, their culture, religion, lifestyle, attitude everything even size.

Nigeria is too big for an African country without leadership and with the political class we are seeing the future looks bleak and of course the smaller a country the easier to manage.

Are we not suppose to have passed a situation where decision making is centralized in a country?
Why would all the buck stop at the president's table and every opposition is hounded in the name of corruption and you are OK with it in this century.

Am beginning to see that the major problem of this country is not corruption, its the people ,all of them including the president who wants to have it all to himself.

This is where you are getting it wrong. The buck does not stop with the president. We have federal, state and local government. Even senators collect constituency allowance. At the end of the day when they do nothing, we are decieved to think its the Presidents fault. Thats why street light is not in the creek, they call PMB, drainage is blocked, PMB. No one asks what the local and state governent are doing with all the funds collected. They have been deceived that the buck stops with the President.

In what way has the President shown he wants everything for him self? Incase you have a short memory. Obasanjo monopolised fuel importation, same with Abacha. Not only did they not repair the refineries, they monopolized importation and collected all subsidy involved. When Obj was leaving, he sold the refineries to himself like Ota farm but this sale was reversed by Yaradua.

Gej came, and took subsidy to a whole new level. Free for all chopping with turn around maintenance that never ended. No new refinery was even started during his time.

Pmb on the other hand. Has focused on our refineries working. So that less will be imported and more money for his plan to move nigeria forward. The militants have repeatedly sabotaged the lines feeding this refinery. New contracts have been signed to build new ones that would be completed before 2019. All this at a period when the value of our currency has fallen. Imagine if these were done during the years of boom. Corruption is a war that must be fought and won. Look at how people embezzled funds meant to the fight against boko haram at the expense of human lives. Do you know how many soldiers lost live because of being ill equiped. There were videos of beheading or armed forces members. Yet a private jet with 9 million dollars was being seized by South Africa. The govt shamlessly came out to defend it as miscommunication between Sa authorities. With all these you still think corruption is not an issue.

With the one year so far, i think PMB's major crime is coming from the north...because you will agree with me that his efforts so far: repair and expand refineries, fight corruption, reduce waste with TSA, clean up Niger Delta, Zero based budget etc...are all a step in the right direction.

bros you too much. I have said it before and it's true that all igbos are not united. Honestly, diversity has become a curse for Nigeria because we too plenty and everyone would love to be represented at some point.

my brother when I said decision making is centralized am referring to this present govt where it is allege that Pmb decides everything, this is unlike the previous govt where responsibility and authority is given to appointees of the govt.

When you talk about the structure of govt when we are discussing executive issues goes a long way in exposing the deficiencies in our educational system.

Then look at your self again when you talk about OBJ and Abacha monopolising oil importation and your analysis about subsidy and about OBJ selling the refineries to himself and Pmb working to fix the refineries shows you have a very shallow understanding of how the country has been working, maybe you need to read harder then come back let's argue cos am tired of educating you because you are not making sence.
