Visa approved on Friday for6.30am Lagos embassy even though it wasn't my doing...
It was just brief and an interview of grace cos the V.O denied everyone he attended to before my turn. For that day, I was the second person he approved.
I am a silent follower but have gained alot through this forum, God bless you all for your contributions and advise so far especially MsNas for every of her effort. She is the only friend and sister I know one on one.
The transcript goes thus:
V.O- Good morning
Me- Good morning (with a smile)
V.O- Can I have your passport
Me- (Passed it to him)
V.O- So where are you going?
Me- To Ball States University, Indiana for my masters degree
V.O- Course?
Me- Accounting
V.O- What course did you study for bsc?
Me- Accounting
V.O- Have you paid your sevis fee?
Me- Yes (Passed the receipt)
V.O goes through it and says it's not reflecting on the system yet
He further asked when I finished school?
Me- 2011
V.O- What have you been doing?
Me- Went for my NYSc in 2012 which ended in 2013, ever since then took up a job with Wema Bank
V.O- (Kept nodding)Who is paying?
Me- My dad
The V.O finally said I will be approving your visa so u get to pick it up on Thursday cos ur sevis fee is yet to reflect.
And left immediately with a smile cos I wasn't even drilled as prepared as I was.

Thanks for your contribution so far on this forum ... Please I need info on anyone going to Indiana or who lives in Indiana.

Thanks
Congrats

Yes I will of course want to go for my MSC.. my area of specialisation is not good enough with Bsc. What is your now your opinion
It's all about your choice and dream..

If you have genuine reasons why another Bsc then you are good to go, I could remember few people where who got their visa and they are going for another Bsc

Been a long while I posted. I'm glad to see the rate of progression day by day. I've in recent times read through as guest but had to come on to congratulate this funny guy with a funny name- dickoflife (eponaye grin in Jchi's voice). Congrats bro.

To ALL those who got their visas I say congrats. And to those going for their interviews soon, best wishes from me to you.

However, it's a means to an end and not the end itself. It's a good life here but comes with it's challenges as well but trust me it's all worth it! God bless our hustle.

Let me also add and warn everyone, from my experience, that there are 'crazy' hackers here in the US. My bank account was hacked few days ago where I saw transactions I never made. My debit card wasn't even linked to PayPal and I found PayPal transactions debited to my account. I had to go to the bank to complain. I was warned not to use my cards for transactions on public computers (even on the school library computers which I used for my last transaction). Even ones personal computer without a strong and genuine anti-virus is a risk. But I appreciate what banking is here. I was credited with the total amount I lost to fraudsters in 2 days. Please let's be alert.

@Gunther: what airline did you book?

bbdd, kenkool, sorbital, profojah, walspring, Imperiouxx, Bigfrancis05, Darklight, Innovativeame, I sight you all. Great guys.

Greetings from Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
I hail you big boss..

oh I see! well Spanish is a beautiful language too... I hip it a lot after French . but I believe my French knowledge would help me a lot in understanding Spanish well as they are both similar a bit . Though I am also a fast learner too. Buenos dias!

zeezahbee:
In texas, Spanish is a real deal . MOST jobs says bilingual so you gat to step up. I am a fast learner
