Please for those who had opened blocked account, is it possible to fund the account with a higher amount, let's say like 9k or the amount to be paid in is fixed. Thanks

The €8040 is the minimum. If you have more, you may block more.

Thanks.
The remaining that will be unblocked, would I still get it changed via Form A? Or I will instruct the German bank to block the minimum and leave the remaining unblocked.

German Visa generally. Student enquiries dominant but you may also throw in comments as regard other visa type. You can be sure to get a response.

primeradama:
Please is this thread for students visa only or it includes family reunion visa issues?

The Link can be found here.

http://www.internationale-studierende.de/en/prepare_your_studies/entry_into_germany/proof_of_financing/

Nevertheless.. Let's await official documentation from the German embassy. Autumn means the transition period from Summer to Winter. Which means this migh take effect from September.

I'd advise anybody wishing to fund his blocked account to do so between now and August.

At least, we can take solace in the fact that CBN is no more de-valuing the naira.

Better days ahead

i dont see a reason for this, i asked a question if you dont wanna answer no problem,, Do you take me for a kid or something? Please lets have mutual respect for each other..Because you did the exam doesnt make it cheap. I'm stating the obvious
Honestly I get where you're coming from and were honour is coming from. The policy of this thread if I'm not mistaken is that when you come in and you're new you or not particularly clear about an issue you ask a question and if your question has not been treated before we treat it then and there, but if it has we refer you to the previous threads to read up, why you ask? When you ask your question and someone determines it's spoon-feeding and answers albeit a bit harshly or not (and you can't blame them if they do) you and him start
having issues

1. It starts derailing the thread, how? both warring parties that's you and whomever it is that is answering your question start having issues and If it gets personal we start hearing insults people start taking sides and we all know how it goes from there and peeps start posting their own opinions for example how many comments have you and him and other peeps had on an issue that all you had to do was read previous threads. Leaving the main purpose as to why this thread was created in the first place

2. Because of number one above the thread becomes unnecessarily longer for a reason that's has been properly dissected and treated before and all you had to do to avoid this is read.

3. Because of the above the thread is now long and important information is now hidden in between the post of you and him having issues, people posting their own comments for example I almost missed the info about the rise in the amount for the blocked account, because I was just scrolling down thinking they've started again.

So you see my brother...it's not about him writing the exam or him not having mutual respect for you or him taking you for a kid. It's because after telling peeps to do something every time, time and time again it gets frustrating and annoying. Even you would be frustrated at that. I honestly don't know if you've been told to read the previous thread but please do it will clear up almost every question you have.

Now to those answering newbies or peeps asking about a particular topic please be a bit lenient and less sarcastic (I'm also talking to my self cause I'm also guilty of that) when answering. I seem to remember some one having an issue with another person in the first thread I think and the person said some thing "It's not that I don't appreciate your correction but it is the manner in which it was done" he even went on to say that if it was someone else the way in which they would answer would encourage you to wanna dig up more info about that topic. That being said GOOGLE IS YOUR BEST FRIEND USE HIM PPPPLLLLEEEEAAAAASSSSSEEEEEE

You were only saying all these because you ain't a newbie... you talking bout previous thread... so you expect someone to read all through that, to me... it's NOT fair. If a newbie ask question, nothing is wrong in answering politely. Either treated before or not. We all gonna learn more both oldbie and newbie. And it in now way slow down any thread bro. I'm a newbie, so I know how it feels and am an oldbie in other thread. We are all brothers here. You saying google is like looking for a needle in a sea, it is frustrating. So responding to newbie ain't at all bad. Av met dudes here that helped me one on one here. So it's all good.

I have been mute since I came here but I'd like you to keep calm too and get the info you can't else where. Every one says read part 1, read part 2, it has been treated, youif all we do is tell people they can't get what they want from us who have passed through the stage. The other parts are jammed with less info and much talk because of posts like this esp. Mine. I felt I'd see questions and answers with cool explainations. If a question is off the grid calmly tell it off or have it removed. Not all this posts on spoon feeding, some one is this and that and ............

I plead with the gurus and mods and those that have started their studies already. Help all you can no matter how many times you need to tell someone the road keep telling esp. If you are not telling the same person.

Thanks a lot
And please o don't intend to offend or insult anyone. I respect all your views and I creave for what you know. But be good all the way to the new ones.

House, help me thank God o. I applied for an Erasmus fee paying program (4200 €) per year after NYSC refused to mobilize me for the past 2 batches and,

I just received a reduction of 3500 € on my 2016-17 tuition fees and a reduction of 3500 € on your 2017-18 tuition fees from an external funding body.

Which means I'll only be paying 700€/year. Also I'll receive more than €2000 as Erasmus grant and 550€/month for the last 6months. It's surely a Win Win for me.

All these with a 2.2 (2.86 CGPA) when I have lost all hope after my CGPA dropped in the final year. God is truly on my side this year.

Let there be peace in this house. LoL

On a more serious note, I personally read the thread from parts 1-3 (All pages!) and hustled to write the IELTS. Truth be told I don't expect everyone to act like me(I had the blessing of a long break). Some don't have the time/luxury/opportunity to read through so many pages of valuable info.
So to my fellow newbies here are tips to help you out instead of burdening already burdened folks here;

1) If you need specific info. Eg. How to open a block account, how to use uni-assist bla bla? GOOGLE is your ultimate friend. Make a search like this (How to open a blocked account German visa Nairaland) (documents needed to certify at the embassy german visa nairaland). I bet you the answer you're looking for will be found.

2) You can of course ask forum members questions but if you're not satisfied with answers. You can always PM people personally and pick their brains. There's no harm.

3) Finally there some issues that one might not get the solution on the forum or using simple google search such as; (IT msc courses without Ielts in germany). Here daad.de, masterportal.eu etc are your friend. Please, pls, pls if your fone restricts you, enter a cybercafe and check these sites. I personally looked at more than 60 courses individually. But that's me.
And the oldies pls continue the goodwork all continue to be your brothers keeper.

I wish you all success in your future endeavors. We are one. My name is djlaqua91 and I'm just trying to make common sense.

Animal Production.

However, like all the other agric departments, the program is entailed to cover all part of Agriculture from plant science to crop production to Agricultural economics, extension, food science and Environmental science. So we end up doing basically the same thing until slight differences in 500L.

I believe my saving grace was the Farm Practical Year of my school which of course was very visible on the transcript to the extent that they even considered it as a professional experience.

The Erasmus grant is automatically granted since the consortium members are in different countries. And since it is impossible to study in just one of them.

About the Tuition grant, I applied to TERRA ISARA ( www.terraisara.fr ) which grants need based scholarship to students who have been granted a place to study at ISARA Lyon ( A member of the consortium) They did require a lot of compulsory documents such as your payslip and Parent's Payslips. From what I gathered, it is impossible if your parents are entrepreneurs. And very hard if you don't understand basic French.

About the last 6months, it is a French constitution. Anybody carrying out a Masters thesis for a French institution is automatically granted ( Even if the thesis is to be done outside of France).

helenmi , it is only a tuition scholarship. It's closed now. Deadlines for admission at ISARA is either Feb 1 or March 1. And to think I only got my transcript 2hrs before the deadline still give me chills

@Helenmi, Bartork...I support you guys on ya views abt reading from Part 1-3...what the gurus don't understand is that...most of you started from the begining of this wonderful thread(I.e u r d Pioneers)..asking the Newbies to read from Part 1-3...haba, dis is a bit hard, We understnd that u r our Egbon in dis forum, but you should also knw that just part 1 of dis forum is like 430+ pages, 430 x3= 1290, haba that's like a whole semester's Textbook and some of this newbies are using glasses sef...lmao..and some don't even have enough time to go through the thread all the time...Sincerely, am not talking for myself atal, because when I was introduced to this particular forum last year, I was doing my youth Service in a village,in Kano, held some Vital posts dat neva mde me had time for myself coupled with two professional exams I did and power supply in d village I served will still not allow me to read up to Ten pages wiv the little time I had to go through dis thread before my phone goes off but I was stil able to read from part 1 page 422-350 den( reading it backward)..lol, completed my youth service last month, so I av Continued from where I stopped cos I cud remember when I asked few questions d first time I got here, the first person dat replied me was Stevemin(am sure he's in germany ryt nw) he answered me Politely, followed by Ichommy, and Stevemin said he guess have nt gone through the previous posts, dat I should do so n thank him later...twas later the person dat introduced me to dis forum (Fapper) gve me d orientation dat I should stop asking question If I don't want to be attacked or insulted, so I listened to him simply because I don't insult nor disrespect people and I feel very bad wen people do dat to me,..

To be sincere with you all, am stil reading Part 2, cos Its informative n am getting a lot of infos, and I laugh a lot wen am reading people's comment at times, its more dan A.Y or basketmouth comedy...

But am using this medium to plead with our Egbon in dis room, its not easy to go through the whole pages from part 1-3,pls, help the newbies in every little way you can, though You guys have provided informations that's worth more dan what those Olodo Agents are charging from 500-800k for. And nobody can thank you enough for Your Voluntary services, but am sure one thing...God will surely Reward you guys....Thanks to y'all
