This is really getting out of hand. I have never supported these bombings, but since it's obvious that our military cannot do anything about this despite their gunboats and whatnot, let Buhari show genuine interest in this problem and settle it for once. His problem is that he has said so much nonsense and seem not to know the limits (or the real strength, for that matter) of his powers. Let him do something before his ignorance and stubbornness destroys us all. The military he is boasting with has so far been able to arrest only insignificant civilians, despite the war ship and all. |

Niger Delta Avengers and their sympathizers are fools! You don't destroy a building because you want control one room in the house. The activities of this idiots is crumbling the economy, people in the oil and gas sector are going to lose jobs, Nigeria will not make money from selling oil. Is this not enough reason these fools should think twice and the silly Niger Delta people spoke against them. We can't shot ourselves in the foot and still complain of pain. It's pure stupidity! Are the people of Niger Delyta this silly not to know that the activities of this idiots is not affecting just President Buhari who they so much hate but the economy of the entire country. The last time I check some states in the Niger Delta are struggling to pay salaries so by the time they ground the economy where will the FG get money to give them to pay salaries. Niger Delta think, think think! It's not for your own good! 1 Like |

Sweetlemon:Like you said, for some of us, this is not a good time to say we are from the Niger Delta. My problem is that the Intelligence Agencies seem to be guzzling funds for doing nothing, thus exposing the impotence of the Military. These militants now appear like ghosts while wrecking large-scale havoc. For those calling for negotiations/dialogue, hope they can see the futility of such activity considering the senselessness of some of their demands and the proliferation of such armed groups. This is war! And in war, all is fair. Government has to foreclose dialogue, end the amnesty programme, implement far-reaching reforms that would benefit the bulk of the people, step up Intelligence and go all out against these saboteurs, their hosts and sponsors. 1 Like |

kally90: Buhari made Jonathan government ungovernable for him what pile of nonsense. They same man BH tried to kill same person who has inherited the problem. May God visit your wicked heart today. Can I please alert you to the fact Nigeria now earns about 500 million avery months as opposed to over 2 million last year , soon public servants may not be paid salaries and the country would be in great suffering is that what you want. Where would the money used to build infrastructure and diversification come from. 1 Like 1 Share |

Bombs were planted all over our pipelines as a bargaining tool by some foolish people working for pipeline surveillance companies. It is never a wise decision handing over any form of security to untrained civilians. It must backfire. Right now FG is helpless as the Avengers can remotely detonate whichever bomb they like at any point in time. 1 Like |

Sweetlemon:my dear, I guess you have no idea how you have been bleeped in the ass by these so called people in power.. if you do and you still talk like this, then I would say you have no pity on yourself. Did you go through the list of people who own oil blocks in the delta? If you didn't, you should try to go and take a look. In my opinion what these people are doing isn't good for development but it is even worse for them when these facilities are functioning properly and still live in abject poverty. You should visit the riverine someday to know what I am talking about. You have the opportunity to be educated, but these youths you curse do not have that same opportunity even though they have resources which could finance their studies. I can tell you there's no southerner with an oil bock, but we hear of idimi whose friend gave him one oil block in a platter of gold. Lols that's the most ridiculous thing that a Niger delta can read. So dear if you can't fight for what you believe in, then the life is not worth it. Life will only give you what you ask, seek and fight for... if what they did pre'09 brought amnesty, maybe doing more will lead to total redemption and resource control. 1 Like |

rozayx5: If Vietnam try that now the country will be remembered only in history, as modern technology will fish you out even if you're hidden in between rocks, your body heat will betray you. The only reason the Scavengers are thriving is because of sabotages in the military, the truth is our military men have been so sensitive to money that national security does not matter to them any more. Ask the people of Odi they will tell you better. Don't mess with the military especially a type of obj. 3 Likes |

Sweetlemon: Cry cry baby, you want to see your mummy,....shame! Cry me a river. Who cares if you are a south southerner or not? Who u EPP? At some point, even your father will stop feeding, clothing and sheltering you. Why? Because you've come of age and should be able to fern for yourself. Niger Delta has been feeding the nation and yet of all its accrued wealth, it has little or nothing to show for it. Let me not push in further into the issue but it's high time other regions go find their daily bread and stop hooping to Abuja at the end of every month to go receive allocation accrued from oil sales. 1 Like |

TUNNELS. The FG NEEDS TO GET SEISMIC EQUIPMENT. THESE SABOTEURS HAVE A NETWORK OF UNDERGROUND TUNNELS THEY ARE USING. It's not rocket science. And this could mean this has been long in the making. Thats how they are getting past the military |

ibeeraheem16: I have not only built a family, I lead a battalion in addition. The multi-diversity and multi-ethnicity component of Nigeria is the more reason why Buhary should have considered his appointments, statements, silence and rants. I insist that Buhary missed the point. He needs to act ASAP to save Nigeria from total collapse. 2 Likes |
