my gf of 3yrs+ broke up with me cos according to her I don't give her money unless she ask me for it dat I'm making her feel like a beggar. we in a long distance relationship o...how d hell am I suppose to know wen she needs money without her asking huh

While it is not advisable, you can place her on an allowance if you have the means. However, she should have discussed or should talk about it first before rushing to break up the relationship. Secondly, must you give her money before she accepts you as a boyfriend? It is as if she is muscling you into giving her money. ''No money, no relationship''. Before she met you, how did she cope? So if you cannot afford to give her money the relationship is invariably over?

Anyway, if you think the relationship is worth saving and you think she is worth it, then talk to her about the fact that it is better such things are discussed rather than the threats. Secondly, like I said above, if you have the means and not against your principles, then put her on an allowance.

I think you should move on.But then again it is me.
