Deadlytruth:
Who are Igbos' mates? Were they known before the arrival of whites? The Edo Kingdom and its peoples were already known in Europe as far back as the 13th century while Igbos were yet to even identify themselves as a tribe.

So suddenly Igbos are no longer interested in sharing a country with "ass lickers and Arewanistan" after they (Igbos) held us together with ass lickers and Arewanistan by their fraudulent "One Nigeria" sloganeering against our wish? You people's hypocrisy is mind-boggling. So you knew people were ass lickers and Arewanistan yet you sought oneness with them and even held them back when they tried to separate from Nigeria?

You knew Nigeria was a cesspit of Arewanistan and ass lickers yet you held Isaac Adaka Boro back from exiting the cesspit? What an interesting Irony!
When will you guys just be honest enough to accept that you were the cause of all what you now regret? You keep hailing Zik as a nationalist yet you term as a cesspit the very "one" Nigeria he built with his so-called nationalism. What an interesting irony! That's tantamount to speaking from both sides of the mouth.
.....

Well, the Enahoro who represented me saw it ahead that Nigeria was going to be a cesspit and he therefore proposed the secession clause in the constitution to make it easy for us his people, the yorubas, the Hausas and even Igbos, etc to exit the union later on if they felt cheated, but your Zik who was having wet dreams about one Nigeria resisted him and termed him a tribalist for that. So whose fault is it that you are now not able to exit the cesspit today?

Any educated and enlightened person knows that the only feature that distinguishes confederal constitutions from federal and unitary ones is the provision of a level of looseness which guarantees the right to secession. The constitution of Nigeria would therefore have been confederal if Enahoro's suggestion of the secession clause was accepted by Zik and his fellow Igbos. But Zik argued that the unity of Nigeria was non-negotiable and that secession clause was inimical to national unity and "One-Nigeria". Now, is there national unity today even with the non-inclusion of the secession clause? That means Zik was wrong, misguided and was fooling you people all along, yet you keep hailing him as a nationalist.
....
My Uneme-Nekhua people can't be seeking ways to salvage Nigeria as you charged us to. We won't do so because Nigeria has always been beyond salvage and we knew and acknowledged that right from Adam. Only Igbos refused to accept that reality and gospel truth initially.
Our blood has never been shed by Northerners at anytime as we, unlike Igbos, rarely go up North to seek greener pastures but go to Lagos or overseas for which we might be called prostitutes but however not killed in the process the way Igbos get killed in the North and have still remained there seeking one Nigeria. It is rather you Igbos that have had their blood repeatedly shed by Northerners to keep Nigeria one as directed by Zik. In furtherance of that Igbos kept forming alliances with the North each time after Northerners shed their blood all in a bid to "salvage" one Nigeria. Is that the way you want us Unemes and indeed all Edos too to contribute to the "salvaging" of one Nigeria? Igbos' laughable ways of reasoning! Ha ha ha ha....... Please cut that crap of a suggestion cos we are not that silly.
Our blood is too precious to sacrifice trying to correct the blunders Igbos made against all wise counsels and are still paying dearly for.
Your claim that Igbos are not ready to form a country with Arewanistan, ass lickers, treasury looters, blah, blah, blah...is pure rubbish as Igbos and Hausas are one and the same in Nigeria's politics. The BIA syllable of WAZOBIA is an Igbo word which, on the surface, means "come" but actually is the short form of BIAFRA in deeper meaning. So Biafra is part and parcel of WaZoBia. In fact Bia is directly tied to Zo in Wa-zobia spelling meaning that the Hausa and Igbos are closer together than everyone else. Just check it out Wa (ZoBia) meaning Yoruba (HausaIgbo). There is no Edo word in the Wazobia appellation. It is all a Yoruba -HausaIgbo affair. Live with that reality. Hausas love you and you love them even when they are slaughtering you. It happened in 1945 and 1953 yet in 1959 you went into a political marriage with them called NPC-NCNC (Arewanistan-Biafra) coalition. Twenty years later, in 1979, you again went into the NPN-NPP (still Arewanistan-Biafra) coalition. Twenty years again, 1999, still you went into the PDP (Arewanistan-Biafra) Coalition once more. Do you think the twenty year interval is just being coincidental? If you think so consider the fact that a Biafran called Ekweremadu zoned the PDP (Arewanistan-Biafra) ticket to Arewanistan North against 2019........another 20 years from 1999. Open your eyes and see that Hausa and Igbo oneness is non-negotiable as Zik put it. It even follows a rhyming pattern.

What kind of confused nitwits would rather prefer to be ass-licking slaves than have equity, justice and fair play in the land?

If you're no frustrated ass-licking slave, here and now provide such credible evidences where Igbos compelled your inconsequential people to be joined together in Nigeria.

BTW, who are the lily-livered Uneme-Nekhua minions before the arrival of the Europeans?

If you can't provide any credible evidence of such Uneme-Nekhua history and the list and accomplishments of your inconsequential elites then you forever remain a piss in the wind.

Your pulling out baseless theories of absurdity to blackmail the Igbo Nation to continue with you in this cesspit is DOA and such shenanigan cannot save you!

Go find yourselves an idea to live and die for! Look to OduaArewanistan republic and find your brothers in crime.

It has been a curse on Igbos having your likes in the same country and this curse is broken already and the serpent head is severely bruised and that's why you've been on rampage for some months now attempting in vain to resurrect a walking corpse.

In all your useless theses and theories of absurdity you have consistently failed to point out the contributions of your Uneme-Nekhua people to this country. If you're worth your arrogant grandstanding you'd have done well by mentioning your Uneme-Nekhua elites who have attempted to salvage this contraption from heading to the rocks.

If you like whine, weep and wail on every available media page at the mere mention of Biaf...
If you like continue reeling out old time war tales with video clips and pictures to your satisfaction. It's clear that your chicanery is only meant to divert attention from the very obvious in the polity!

Over the decades the marauding herdsmen have been ravaging your land and killing your people for fun. How many threads have you and your lots created on NL to register your protest against such dastardly acts?

How many of your kinsmen dare challenge the marauding herdsmen for wieding ak-47?

What efforts have your Uneme-Nekhua elites put in to counter the hate speeches in mosques and the unconscionable, cold-hearted waste of human lives and reckless destruction of means of livelihoods going on in the North for decades?

Can you show such credible evidences where you and your people rose in unison to condemn the dastardly acts, especially by your masters, going on for many decades now unabated?

It's only hypocrites that come online forming holier-than-thou attitude online while indeed they are ravenous wolves in sheep clothing who commit worst crimes than what they accuse others for.

This is your latent fear: the fear of Fulanis plundering your entire land, islamisation, no free crude oil wealth and eventual low economic activities in your land once BFR emerges.

You greedy parasites desparately want Easterners to remain in this fraudulent union so that they can help them wade off Dan Fodio's descendants whenever they recommence their jihad.

Wake up from your delusion, the 1966 charms of propaganda and lies against Igbos is no longer working. Your once poisonous fangs has lost its potency.

That you and your Yoruba cotravellers rarely stand for anything should not be an excuse for you to come in the public to castigate Igbos for seeking to have a separate existence. You shouldn't expect Easterners to follow foolish ways of delusion.

It's pathetic that a parasitic ingrate isn't much bothered about the ethnic cleansing going on in his backyard and the hate messages being preached in the mosques coupled with the unconscionable, cold-hearted waste of human lives and reckless destruction of means of livelihoods.

Igbos have nothing in common with you leeches. Go create your OduaArewanistan republic uniting all your fellow murderous folks and parasites.

The earlier you stop lying to yourself and acknowledge the real situation on ground the better for your survival.

Igbos are not interested in sharing a country with lying hypocrites who are confused about what they stand for.

THE ENEMIES OF PROGRESS THAT SAW TO THE NON-IMPLEMENTATION OF THE ABURI ACCORD

https://www.nairaland.com/3143222/biafra-memo-oba-akenzua-aburi
http://www.punchng.com/biafra-memo-akenzua-aburi/

Prince Akenzua (now the late Oba of Benin) along with top permanent secretaries including Alhaji Yusuf Gobir, Phillip Asiodu, Eme Ebong, B.N. Okagbue and Allison Ayida deconstructed in Lagos, all that was agreed in Aburi.

On arrival in Lagos, Prince Akenzua discussed with Gowon and raised objections to what was agreed in Aburi. Gowon asked him to raise a memo which he did. I am sure a copy of the memo is with Gowon today while a copy is in the archives in the Presidency. Civil servants are to be seen and not to be heard and that is why Akenzua never released a copy of the memo to the world.

The memo dated January 8, 1967 began with: “Your Excellency, in view of my discussion with you last night, I am raising this memo in the interest our fatherland, Nigeria”. Akenzua traced the long hard road that Nigeria had travelled and stressed on the need to keep a United Nigeria.

He said in the memo that Gowon had given too much away in Aburi and that it would lead to the destruction of the country. He further added that Gowon had “legalised” total regionalism which “will make the centre very weak.” Akenzua alluded in his memo that a weak centre would lead to confederation and total disintegration of the country. It was the memo that prompted Gowon to summon a meeting of the secretaries to the military governments and other officials which was held in Benin City between February 16 and 18, 1967. If you look at the minutes of the Benin meeting presided over by Mr. H. A. Ejueyitchie, Secretary to the Federal Military Government, you will discover that it was a total rejection of what was agreed upon in Aburi. The Benin meeting interpreted in its own way the agreement reached in Aburi.

The decisions at Aburi amounted to, in terms of political and military control of Nigeria, that the country should be governed as a confederation.

The Oba of Benin is the traditional ruler of the Edo people and head of the historic Eweka dynasty of the Benin Empire.

Before becoming an Oba, as Prince Samuel Aiseokhuoba Igbinoghodua Akenzua, he was an outstanding civil servant. He, in fact, rose to become the Federal Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Health before he retired in 1973.

Along with others, he attended the Aburi meeting held at the Peduase Lodge where the conflict of Nigeria was discussed between January 4 and January 5, 1967. Aburi is a town in Ghana and a 45-minute drive from Accra, the capital of Ghana.

Those who attended the meeting were Lt. Col. Yakubu Gowon, Col. Robert Adebayo, Lt. Col. Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, Lt. Col. David Ejoor, Lt. Col. David Hassan Katsina, Commodore J.E.A. Wey, Major Mobolaji Johnson, Alhaji Kam Selem and Mr. J. Omo-Bare. Others were Prince S.I.A. Akenzua (Permanent Under-Secretary, Federal Cabinet Office.), Mr. P.T. Odumosu (Secretary to the Military Government, West.), Mr. N.U. Akpan (Secretary to the Military Government, East.), Mr. D.P. Unemes are an Edoid group which migrated from the ancient Benin Kingdom which itself enlarged to an empire that swallowed all Igbo land and spread oppositely to as far as present Dahomey. How far could the insignificant Nri kingdom spread? Nri never became an empire like the Edo.
The allure of the quality of Benin artworks tempted Europeans into attacking the palace and robbing it of artifacts. Which Nri palace was so robbed? Igbo Okwu is the most recent set of migrants into the Nigerian geographical area. The chosen FESTAC symbol is a Benin art work and not an Nri one. Why not Nri if you really had such a highly rated kingdom?
In all Nigerian museums there is a general Museum hall for artworks of NOK, Ife, Igbo-Ukwu, Esie, Mbaise, etc, but there is always a separate Benin Gallery which is meant for exclusively unique Benin works. Why is there no Nri gallery?
There is the Benin Moat which serves as international tourist attraction. Where is Nri's moat? You can't compare Nri with Benin in any ramification.
Even the Europeans attested that they met civilization already existing in Benin Kingdom but that they brought civilization to Nri. They testified that they met Benin City streets arranged in geometrical patterns with major thoroughfares at regular intervals. Check the Google map of Benin City and you'll see that it remains the most planned City in West Africa. Its streets are straight and at angle 90 to intersecting ones. But Nri towns streets are armophous and non-descript.

NCNC was formed by a Yoruba man who, at the point of his death, handed it over to Zik not because there were not other Yorubas who co-founded the party with him before Zik joined, but because he wanted to be impartial. But Zik, at the point of his own departure, handed it over to Michael Okpara, an Igbo like him, instead of a Niger Deltan or any other Southern minority so as to sustain the impartiality Macaulay set in motion. Zik went further to fill the executive position with Igbos as your own list above reveals. Thus he subtly converted a national outlook party to an Igbo party while still chanting "One-Nigeria".
Zik read anthropology from the US and lectured in it for few years. Anthropology is a discipline which studies human cultural diversity and evolution with the aim of correctly recommending how best peoples of different cultures can coexist peacefully without clashes of culture and its attendant bloodshed. To this end Anthropology has a cardinal precept which says that "the best way for different tribes to coexist side by side and peacefully is for mechanisms (federalism) to be put in place to limit unnecessary cross interference between tribes, and that each tribe should recognize and respect the culture, beliefs and value systems of other tribes however strange they may appear" and never seek to make them abandon same. But the Zik who knew this by virtue of his profession started preaching a "one Nigeria" where all tribal differences will be progressively de-emphasized for "nationalism". What a fraud of an Anthropologist?
Before Zik travelled out to the US to school he had read it in Government textbooks that Federalism (i.e. Weak centre and strong periphery) is the only workable system for a multi-ethnic democracy. On getting to the US he read it in the content of his course of study. Then he saw with his eyes how the practice of federalism had made US a world Power and an enviable country. He heard no one chanting "One America" over there. But he returned to an equally ethnically diverse Nigeria to advocate unitary system and "One Nigeria" and argued that federalism would elevate tribalism above nationalism. What a fraud of a man?

In the 1953 constitutional conference the clause for secession was proposed by Enahoro and other AG members but Zik and his NCNC goons were aided by the British to reject it. In fact Zik declared that secession clause was inimical to national unity and that Nigeria's oneness was non-negotiable. Enahoro also proposed that 19 states/regions be created along tribal compatibility lines and with full autonomy thus creating a very weak centre. Zik and Igbos termed Enahoro a tribalist for making such a realistic demand. They argued that Nigeria needed an overwhelmingly strong centre over very weak regions. It was sheer boofonrey for a tribe to so much believe that a country of over 400 ethnicities could be peacefully governed by unitary system.
But just 14 years later the same Zik and his people started asking for the secession which they said was inimical to national unity. They went as far as drawing up a list of Aburi demands which contained the very proposals of confederacy and secession clause they earlier rejected and accused the proponents of tribalism, and were expecting Enahoro and Oba Akenzua to support them after having earlier rejected the same proposal by Enahoro and Akenzua. Hypocrites and overnight turncoats.
While Jonathan was in power, it was "GEJ till 2019, One Naija", but immediately GEJ lost, it became "On Biafra we stand". This is similar to their shouts of "One-Nigeria, unitary system is best for Nigeria" while Zik and NCNC were still together with the North in power and also Aguyi Ironsi in power too, but immediately Aguyi Ironsi was overthrown it became "On Aburi we stand, Confederacy it is, when we get too close we collide". Inconsistent clowns.

Instead of this dimwitted bigot to mention the credible Uneme-Nekhua elites who have contributed to the betterment of this country he ended up with verbosity, eulogising and mentioning another tribe - Bini, Bini and BenI.
What a load of trash from a deluded being from an inconsequential Uneme-Nekhua group with no documented history and relevance!

May I remind you that that the Bini empire is a spent force already. The Igbo Nation don't care about whatever is left of it.

You forgotten so soon how you and your wicked folks colluded with your masters to commit genocide on your supposed Anioma brothers in the Mid-western region.

Remember how bloodthirsty you and your partners in crime were in 1966; you positioned yourselves in airports and railway stations hounding and killing off innocent Eastern passengers.

Your portion still remains with your masters. The earlier you go master the Hausa/Fulani language and Quranic verses the better for your survival in the eventual OduaArewanistan republic.

Hypocrites who prefer servitude to freedom are better confined in caves away from rational minds to repel their evil sermons among those yet untainted by islamism.

Let it be hammered into your thick skull that Igbos cannot afford to continue to share a country with verm1ns and vagabonds like you who have merely flourished and survived, at the expense of others, by the unjust, lopsided system and the relentless ass-licking of your slave masters.

Self-determination remains an inalienable right of a people. A legitimate agitation by a people for a simple referendum is no way a crime.

If you like whine, weep and wail on every available media page at the mere mention of Biaf...
If you like continue reeling out old time war tales with video clips and pictures to your satisfaction. It's clear that your chicanery is only meant to divert attention from the very obvious in the polity!

https://www.nairaland.com/2854914/why-fought-side-ojukwu-biafra

Retired Lt. Fola Oyewole, 77, a Nigerian Military Officer of the Yoruba stock, fought on the side of Biafra during the ncivil war. Before then, he was, because of the first coup 50 years ago, imprisoned in Lagos and in the Enugu but was released by Lt Col Ojukwu.

He wrote his own war account too, entitled “The Reluctant Rebel”, which joined other civil war narratives like ‘The Biafra Story’ (1969) by Frederick Forsyth, ‘Why We Struck’ (1981) by Adewale Ademoyega, ‘Sunset In Biafra’ (1975) by Elechi Amadi, ‘The Nigerian Revolution And the Biafran War’ (1980) by Alexander Madiebo among others.

In this interview with Ademola Adegbamigbe and Femi Anjorin (Idowu Ogunleye snapped the photos), the retired army officer narrated what happened during the first coup, his participation in it and why he, despite being Yoruba, fought on the side of Biafra like other non Igbo officers like Lt Col. Victor Banjo, Major Wale Ademoyega and others.

...
Q: In the book, you applaud Ojukwu’s performance in Aburi, explain to us what actually happened because there is this argument that he bamboozled Gowon

A: If you listen to the Aburi accord or the proceedings as a whole, you will duff your cap for Ojukwu whether he is a villain or whatever you want to call him, call him. He really dictated the pace of the discussion, he was prepared for it, he kind of put together all the things and if you listen, the moment he started talking, others kept quiet and when he finished, they will say ok ok ok. To give you a full grasp of what the theme was, you need to read the comment of the super perm sec who led us to were we are today.

Q: Was it Philip Asiodu?

A: The group – Asiodu, and the rest. Their recommendations, what they brought back from Aburi was agreed to be implemented but when they came here they tore it into pieces/.

Q: Ok, was after the agreement was signed in Aburi? They came back to Nigeria….

A: To put it in whatsoever you can say political implementation. They desired to analyse it, it was an agreement not suggestion, that’s where our problem sort of started.

If you listen to the Aburi accord or the proceedings as a whole, you will duff your cap for Ojukwu whether he is a villain or whatever you want to call him, call him. Aguiyi Ironsi did not abolish Regionalism rather he brought in a loose unitary government and he kept the 4 regions in tact. The respective regions controlled their resources.
It was Gowon that brought a full Unitary system of government by dissolving Regionalism and replacing them with new created States.

Gowon created the first 12 states after the dissolution of region. Gowon did the damage by creating state to checkmate the Igbos.

However a few months afterwards, an Igboman Emeka Ojukwu spearheaded the Aburi agreement in which fiscal federalism and even confederation was adopted, but the other Nigerian, including Awolowo and Enahoro kicked against it. That is why fiscal federalism has not been experienced in this nation since then.

In 1972 Gowon and Awolowo proceeded to enact and enforce the Indigenization decree which led to the collapse of the Nigerian economy.
To add insult to the festering injury Olusegun Obasanjo promulgated the Land Use Decree (now Land Use Act) in 29th of March, 1978.

By the provision of the Land Use Decree of 1978, the inhabitants of the oil producing communities were turned into squatters in their own ancestral homes, as land where oil is explored, produced, transported and stored were decreed to belong to the state long after political independence in 1960. The existence and application of the Land Use Act of 1978 contributed to the present state of neglect, under-development and the insecurity of the region.

This victim of moronic plague is still ranting and transferring aggression here.
Why should I expect you to know that Edo tribe is not only limited to Benin but the entire Edo state and most parts of Delta State. Trying to divorce Uneme from Edo is akin to an attempt to divorce Mbaise from Igbo. It is like demanding a list of prominent Mbaise sons when Mbaise is an integral part of Igbo, and then accusing the person of always talking of Igbo, Igbo, Igbo rather than concentrate on Mbaise. You want to divorce Uneme from the Umbrella Bini but you cry blue murder whenever even an Ikwere man with his own mouths claims non-Igboness. See your hypocrisy? And in your shameless double standards you have never been able to tell us the particular subdivision of Igbo you come from. Mention it and tell produce a list of prominent Nigerians from that Igbo sub-group let's see.
Benin might be a spent force, but compared with Benin Nri is now an extinct force. Bini Monarch still exists and still actively commands reference from government quarters. Buhari aknowledged the Benin stool in his inauguration speech but made no mention of Nri. Even GEJ visited the Oba Palace during campaign but found no Nri ruins let alone Nri standing palace to ever visit, and this Nri man is comparing Nri to Benin and Edo as a whole. Very pitiable!

If we committed genocide against Aniomas, then how come Aniomas have continued to stick to the Bendelite identity? The truth is that within Benin City the Biafran soldiers soon became oppressive and overbearing after entering the Midwest. They started raping young girls sent to give them food by local sympathisers to the Biafran course despite everyone knew they did what triggered the war by killing all other region's leading lights in cold blood without touching any one of theirs. Yet after doing such a shameful and reproachable thing they wanted every other region to congratulate them and assist them to seceed from Nigeria so that they can escape the consequences of the blood they shed. What a people!
They claim the coup plotters had Yorubas among despite that it was clearly for tokenism. If not which of the targetted politicians or military officers did they assign to those Youbas to kill? None!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A sincere people would have assigned the Yorubas among them to kill Zik and Okpara so that they won't feel any tribal solidarity restraint which Ifeajuna later felt for Zik and Okpara and let them live. However, they quickly assigned Nwobosi, an Igbo, to kill Akintola so that there'd be no tribal solidarity restraint in Nwobosi at the point of action, and you tell me those Igbo guys did not know what they were doing?
I only pity the likes of Ademoyega and Nzeogwu who fell for that cheap trick (even though they were recruited just 3 months to go.)
Some Anioma army officers even colluded with Ojukwu for Biafra forces to invade Benin City and ancillary towns. Even at that a lot of mainland Igbos civilians living in most Edo towns, particularly my home town, during the war were protected by us by sending them into the attics to hide and giving them food and water there until the federal forces which came to search for them to kill had left without finding them. This we did at a grave risk of the federal forces finding out about our "disloyalty" and "treachery".
Some of those Igbos, due to that humane gesture, decided after the war to permanently live and die among us. Some married from among us and had children by our women, and their descendants live among us till today. Yet this uninformed, parochial and untravelled entity is here accusing us of killing Aniomas. Why is it that Aniomas themselves don't make this accusation but only mainland Igbos do? I have never read or heard any Anioma man claim they were killed by Edos during the war. If Aniomas were killed by us I doubt if they would not have discontinued with their tradition of giving integral roles to the Oba's representatives during coronation of any new Anioma monarch.
Do you now claim to know Aniomas' traducers more than the Aniomas themselves? Oh!, I forgot you recently cried over Jonathan's loss at the polls more than the SS who own him.

Ojukwu might have been intelligent enough at the Aburi Accord meeting but that does not detract from the fact that he too was an unrepentant One-Nigerianist at the initial stage while Ironsi was still in power therefore indicting all his posturings at Aburi as a pack of intelligent afterthoughts. Why could Igbos not urge ironsi to declare Biafra from the "ass lickers" and Arewanistan while he and Ojukwu held sway? Would it have cost any single bloodshed let alone genocide if Ojukwu and Ironsi had used their supreme powers to declare Biafra free from Arewa, Edos and Oduduwa as at when they were still in power? After all the cleavages and fault lines were already very bold and a lot of Igbos had already been killed in the North.

The mere fact that Ironsi left the four regions in place does not automatically equate to federalism. The difference between federalism and unitary system is not the mere existence of units but the degree to which those units are granted autonomy without interference from the centre. Britain has districts like Nottingham, Sheffield, etc. Does that mean Britain has become a federalist society?
Ironsi first removed the adjective "federal" from our official name thus becoming just "Republic of Nigeria" instead of the initial "Federal Republic of Nigeria". By that he implied that the federating units had practically ceased to exist.
Secondly, rather than replace the slain premiers by their deputies, ironsi replaced them with military officers whom he commanded to be reporting to him. In what kind of federalism do the federating units report to the centre? Before Ironsi came were the Ahmadu Bello, Akintola and Michael Okpara reporting to Balewa at the centre?
Aguyi Ironsi used his own mouth to name Decree 34 as Unification Decree. The dictionary is very clear on the meaning of unification and on which Ironsi could not have mistaken for something else in his intention. If Ironsi's decree 34 did not dismantle federalism, then why did it spark off spontaneous riots immediately it was announced? Also, why did Gowon later find it necessary to issue his own decree 9 to reverse Ironsi's Decree 34? Gowon actually restored the regions to status quo ante 100% and ran it like that for 11 months, but had to start re-adjusting negatively in order to cripple Ojukwu. If Ojukwu had not declared Biafra, Gowon would not have reversed himself.

Awolowo was an unrepentant and consumate federalist. Federalism sometimes appears disguised as tribalism and those who don't understand the full philosophy of a federalist mindset often mistake the steps a federalist takes as tribalism. That explains your view of Awo's indigenization decree.
Even Zik, the unitary system advocate and "nationalist" later (in 1964 when the Northerners started hitting him and rigging elections and censuses against him and the Eastern Region) began to advocate federalism and delivered to that end a public lecture he titled "Tribalism, a pragmatic means to federalism". By then the scales had started falling off his eyes.

When Enahoro said "let us practise confederacy", you refused and called him a tribalist and insisted that unitary system was the best for us and that the unity of Nigeria was non-negotiable. But when he began to support unitary system in order to stop being a tribalist and become a "nationalist" like yourselves, you again condemned him and called him a traitor who kicked against confederacy. Then what exactly do you people want?

So you Igbos knew Obasanjo in his first coming promulgated the Land Use decree to impoverish the minorities in 1978 but you still gave him bloc votes in 1999 when he contested to return to further impoverish the southern minorities now SS (not withstanding the fact that PDP fraudulently replaced your Alex Ekweme with OBJ in the primaries and you people did not protest)? Then what exactly is your grouse with other Nigerians? Does that not even suggest that igbos are the real enemies of the SS and of themselves as well?
In 2003 you Igbos still voted for OBJ who was the same dull, unintelligent, vindictive and wicked "ass licking Oduduwa slave of the Arewa in an election contested by Ojukwu your intelligent Aburi Accord Hero. Then what exactly is your goal and objective?
Does that not lay it bare that Igbos are their own problem? How can a people use their hands to vote a slave and alien into power through an election contested by their own hero and free born only for the same people to turn round and blame everyone except themselves for their mistake? Are those people normal at all? Where did such kind of people come from for goodness sake?

Another Igbo man's investment destroyed by the Niger delta saboteurs aka Avengers.

NCTL pipeline is fed crude from OML 24 oil block covering Awoba and Ekulama 1&2 oil fields. Even though AITEO ( Chike Onyejekwe) owns the NCTL pipeline, the crippled oil block is owned by Festus Fadeyi and Felix Amieyeofori .
While Avengers told us 85% of the oil blocks are owned by northerners, so far, southerners are the hardest hit.

Below are the real targets of the Avengers listed by oil blocks crippled so far;

OML 26 (owned by FHN Egbert Imomoh),OML 30 (owned by kola karim), OML34,53,54 (Owned by Ibru) OML40 (owned by Emeka Offor) OML42 (Owned by Ernest Azudialu),OML 18 (owned by Charles odita, financed by, Diamond bank (paschal Dozie), fidelity bank (Peter obi) , OMLs 4, 38 & 41, (owned by ABC Orjiakor) .

So far in this battle, no northerner has been touched, Igbo entrepreneurs who recently invested in these oil blocks that have not recovered their investment funds let alone make profit are the real target of the Avengers, the Northern Gibberish was all hogwash and a huge distraction.
History is repeating itself!!

IGBOS BE WISE!!

You hail from Edo - the headquarters of witchcrafty in Nigeria where witches almost on a daily basis fall from electric poles with reckless abandon. A diabolic set of people who are nototorios in drinking human blood in Ogboni cult.

Edo is geographically and culturally not SS. Edo is more or less SW.

If you're sane you would vividly remember that Bini existed in the pre-colonial era as land-grabbing and enslaving empire. Bini empire was all about conquering and exploiting other groups and forcing them to live under your wicked and diabolic rule.

And in this modern age Bini empire is a spent force already and the reign of terror, subjugation and expansionist tendencies cannot exceed your bedroom.

The Igbos quest for nationhood is not for weak-minded fellows, traitors or parasitic ingrates who have only survived by being stooges and weak-minded fellows.
Leave Igbos out of your miseries.

Bini empire existed just to exploiting other groups, grabbing their lands and people and forcing them to live under a demonic rule.

This modern day other groups don't care about Bini empire of reign of terror. They are all glad that Bini is now a spent force.

Dimwit, the Bini empire is lost without trace. There's nothing your useless rantings on NL can do to restore it.

Since you insist on claiming Bini I shall help compound your miseries.

Copied and modified:
Benin means annoying. Bini people are therefore annoying set of people.

From Ile Ibinu which they were named by a Yoruba prince. Then one Oba changed it from From Ibinu to Ubini and another just generally called the whole people Edo to include those of us that are not Binis but part of the kingdom.

PvtParts: "...You must be a yoruba bini armed robber.
I am from Delta and Urhobo. Edo has better chance joining kogi than Delta; abi you don forget why we wanted to split from old Bendel before?"

Diabolic scammers and hypocritical parasites, Igbos have not forgotten the atrocious deeds of your kinsmen and how you treacherous backstabbers colluded with your slave masters to commit genocide on your supposed Anioma brothers in 1967-70.

Ethnomusicolist Charles Keil, who was visiting
Nigeria in 1966, recounted:

"The pogroms I witnessed in Makurdi, Nigeria
(late Sept. 1966) were foreshadowed by
months of intensive anti-Ibo and anti-
Eastern conversations among Tiv, Idoma,
Hausa and other Northerners resident in
Makurdi, and, fitting a pattern replicated in
city after city, the massacres were led by the
Nigerian army. Before, during and after the
slaughter, Col. Gowan could be heard over
the radio issuing 'guarantees of safety' to all
Easterners, all citizens of Nigeria, but the
intent of the soldiers, the only power that
counts in Nigeria now or then, was painfully
clear. After counting the disemboweled
bodies along the Makurdi road I was
escorted back to the city by soldiers who
apologized for the stench and explained
politely that they were doing me and the
world a great favor by eliminating Ibos.”

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nigerian_Civil_War

Here's actually an excerpt, albeit it was written by Emeka Esogbue but it is a direct summarization of Emma Okocha books.

"It was this battle that gave birth to Murtala, a “Local champion” called Ibrahim Haruna and Ibrahim Taiwo of the Nigerian Army. Africans first had the practical experience of the word “genocide” in Igbodo where hundreds of lives were lost in the Nigerian civil war. In Isheagu, the case was not different. It was here that the ulterior motive of the Nigerian troop clearly unfolded.

The people were now scampering for the safety of their lives having experienced what happened in Igbodo and some other places. In the Midwestern region, able bodied men went into hiding leaving women and children at the mercy of advancing soldiers. The people of Benin went identifying their Ibo-speaking neighbours from house to house for executions."

Igbos may forgive but surely have not forgotten the atrocious deeds of your kinsmen and how you treacherous backst*bbers colluded with your masters to commit genocide on your supposed Anioma brothers in 1967-70.

Your silly hero Anthony Enahoro was used and dumped by the Arewa-Odua gang up, he later faded into oblivion and died a nobody.

Though Enahoro was one of those who actually led the anti-colonialisation fight yet his people from Edo State are sworn stooges of dullards.

Up till date your elites have been in the habit of betraying the trust of the South. They rarely stand up to counter the great evils, injustice, inequity and lopsided arrangement in the polity but would rather join hands with the perpetrators for the evils to continue.

Mr Uneme-Nekhua, nay Mr Bini, you are needed in OduaArewanistan republic. Your slave masters still love to have you as loyal, slavish subjects. By now should have enrolled in evening class to master Quranic verses.
Take your frustrations to OduaArewanistan republic and leave Igbos out of your miseries.

JANUARY 15, 1966 COUP

Copied and modified:

By the interview conducted on Retired Lt. Fola Oyewole, 77, a Nigerian Military Officer of the Yoruba stock, fought on the side of Biafra during the ncivil war, the following lies were exposed:

1.) The lie that it was an Igbo coup

2.) The lie about soldiers starving civilian; it was civilians fed the Biafran troops.

Ojukwu was kind enough to give safe passage to Northerners and others to join the federal side while Easterners were being slaughtered in the North.

This is the Infocentury, Yoruba lies can't survive for long; they die as soon as they rear their ugly heads

https://www.nairaland.com/2854914/why-fought-side-ojukwu-biafra

Retired Lt. Fola Oyewole, 77, a Nigerian Military Officer of the Yoruba stock, fought on the side of Biafra during the civil war.

Q: In what area did you take part in that coup?

A: Arrest, seize facility and others…

Q: You were at a point, according to your book, with Captain Adeleke, another Yoruba soldier, who was he?

A: He was a colleague. He is the one who said he wanted to consult the family and we were friends, we both worked in Apapa before the crisis.

Q: I want you to describe what happened to other Yoruba people or non Igbo who fought on the Biafran side – Lt Col. Victor Banjo, Major Wale Ademoyega, then Major Kaduna Nzeogwu an Igbo from Opanam in Delta?

A: They were detained like myself, and Nzeogwu was detained, that was a common factor.

Disciple of hate and propaganda, here are plotters of the January 1966 coup:
(See Ben Gbulie: ‘Nigeria’s Five Majors.’).

*Adewale Ademoyega is the most prominent Yoruba participant in the coup, there were other Yoruba officers who were involved at the dangerous execution stage of the coup. One of them is:

*Second Lieutenant Olafimihan, an officer serving under Madiebo in Kaduna. He was sent by the plotters to gauge his commander’s loyalty. (See Madiebo pp.17-18).

*Another is Lieutenant (some books refer to him as a Captain) Fola Oyewole. He, like Ademoyega, went on to fight for Biafra and wrote a book on his coup and wartime experiences. The book’s title is ‘Reluctant Rebel.’

*There is also Captain Ganiyu Adeleke who became an instructor in the Biafran Infantry School. For confirmation, see the list of coup plotters detained by Ironsi’s regime in Ademoyega pp.106-108, and this quote from Nowa Omoigui’s online account: ‘Mid-Western Invasion of 1967’: ‘Captain Ganiyu Adeleke, who had taken part in both the January 15 coup and the Mid-Western invasion before becoming an instructor in the Biafran School of Infantry was released at a later date after his co-plotters had been freed.’ Omoigui’s work is significant because, though he exhibits a high level of professionalism in his research, he has no sympathy for the January 15 coup. If his facts corroborate Ademoyega’s they are worthy of attention.

63xtr33r:

What a nightmare for you! An Igbo man now claiming to be from Urhobo in Delta State just because I asked him to name the Igbo subdivision he hails from. Why did you keep on claiming Igbo initially if you knew you were a Deltan? It means you yourself acknowledge that your own real igbo tribe ruined Nigeria and is therefore not worth identifying with.
For your information Igbos are the only tribe in Nigeria known to eat human flesh. Clifford Orji, Reverend King, etc are ready examples. For every gang of armed robbers caught in Nigeria Igbos make up 80% due to their get-rich-overnight disease. Baby factory entrepreneurs, Otokoto masters, Alaba market human parts dealers, drug traffickers etc. Just out of greed and lust after inordinate wealth Cynthia Osokogu (an Anioma girl) was drugged and killed in cold blood by her supposed Igbo brothers despite realising she was Anioma, yet this moronic plague victim keeps accusing Edos of killing Aniomas.
Diabolism and fetishness has become part of the Igbo life in all ramifications that even politics is not exempted. Andy Ubah took Ngige to swear to a blood oath promising to remit certain percentages of the state's revenues to him on getting to office, and Ngige's refusal to honour it later led to friction and Ngige's impeachment. In which region other than Igbo region has that ever happened in Nigeria? Abriba and Oguta people are renowned human flesh eaters.
If Edos really drink human blood the way Igbos are known to eat human flesh, then why has no single Edo person ever been arrested and paraded on TV in connection with blood drinking the way Igbos are frequently arrested and paraded on TV for trading in human parts? While trading in human parts and hard drugs they open vehicle spare parts shops or foodstuff shops to launder their image, and in less than three months later they begin to buy posh cars, claim divine breakthrough and pay huge tithes in churches to insult the God of the Christianity they pride themselves with- not minding that there is a huge and fast growing population of indegenous Igbo Muslims in Afikpos LGAs of Ebonyi, and others in Enugu. In fact there is an Igbo Sheik in Afikpo town. Hypocrites!
Another blind hypocrisy from you canibals is the attitude of terming others as Arewanistan as an indication of disdain for Islam, and yet you have kept on working to see that your proposed Biafra will include the SS states and Niger Delta for which you therefore have been pasting online photographs in which the Niger Delta Volunteer Force leader, Asari Dokubo, is seen in association with Nnamdi Kanu and other Biafra agitation leaders, yet you comfortably forget that the Asari Dokubu whom you so wish to share Biafra identity with is Strong Muslem who is well grounded in the very Koranic verses you so despise. If you sincerely so despise Islam and Koran then why seek partnership with Dokubo, a Muslim well grounded and founded on Islamic faith, in your thrust to form your purportedly "Christian" Republic of Biafra? It is either you people are fooling Dokubo and the Niger Delta and SS generally, or that Dokubo is fooling you people, or that you Igbos are fooling yourselves. Someone just must be fooling the other or himself in this obvious contradiction. It definitely can't be a genuine partnership. Such a "fully" Christian Biafra Republic with Asari Dokubo in it as a high ranking stake holder alongside other indigenous Bayelsa moslems is doomed to implode the way the Christian-Muslim NCNC-NPC coalition imploded catastrophically just few years after it was consumated and which implosion eventually led to war. I foresee such a war again within the Biafra that includes Bayelsa because Asari is not a man who would tolerate religious marginalizion from Igbos. Meanwhile let the self deception and delusion continue on your part.
However, I know that Asari knows deep down in his mind that he is just fooling Igbos as a SS Republic is what guarantess his religious freedom based on the fact that a SS republic is full of Christians but not Christian bigots like igbos, and that the SS houses more indigenous muslems across at least four of its states, and that the states involved do not deny it the way Igbos deny having indigenous Muslim population despite having it in Ebonyi and Enugu. Or you think Asari Dokubu is a kid not to have seen it clearly that biafra Republic will be the first country in world history where Christians will persecute others for holding divergent faiths from the mainstream Christianity? Asari Dokubo is only using you people as a tool to craftily press for true federalism which the SS only wants. Asari and most Bayelsa muslems prefer to stay back in Nigeria and secure their religious freedom than go into Biafra and lose it. Religious freedom is more important than economic freedom. No sane person surrenders religious freedom for economic interest. Only Igbos did it in 1959 by entering into the NPC-NCNC alliance for cabinet portfolios, and they ended up losing both economic and religious freedom till today and therefore sad and full of hatred for every other tribe including SS tribes. Let the FG grant true federalism/resource control today and see whether Asari will ever again touch Biafra agitators with a 100m long pole. I have given you this exposition free of charge because I don't want you to deceive yourselves into another secession brotherhood war only for you to later brand Asari Dokubo a traitor by the time he backs out. Once beaten, twice shy. But I'm afraid you will be twice beaten. I have taken all this pain out of genuine concern for another 3 million lives on the line now due to your naivete and gullibility that Dokubo is sincerely behind you. It is better you face reality, concentrate on your 5 Igbo states and leave the SS alone so as not to risk another "betrayal" as no SS state will open its two eyes and join a Republic where self-acclaimed Jews and Christians will surely persecute other religions' adherents.

If Edo is not a SS state because it is, according to you, more of a Yoruba state, then it leads to four deductions as follows;
1. That the Igbankes you claim brotherhood with in Edo State are now Yorubas, therefore your brotherhood with them makes you Igbos yourselves automatically Yorubas. Whoever claims brotherhood with a people he implicitly labels as Yorubas is a Yoruba himself.
2. The Delta state you claim is part of SS (to the exclusion of Edo) is actually a state inhabited by Bini migrants (Urhobo, Isoko, Itsekiri in part, etc) who don't deny their Bini ancestry. With that fact viewed against your logic, Delta state too is a SW/Yoruba State and not a SS state. Then even you, who just claimed Urhobo in your last comment above, are a Bini man and then a Yoruba man by extension of your own very logic. Do you see how you would have failed woefully were this to have been an exam in Philosophy and Logic? And a person so dull like you recognised intelligence in Ojukwu's Aburi Accord demand which were all afterthoughts. Even a fool's afterthoughts are usually intelligent since it is a matter of forming new opinions based on lessons learnt from an earlier mistake.
3. That the fact that some tribes in Rivers state (like Ogbia) trace their origin back to Benin means Rivers too is Edo and not a SS state.
4. The fact that some tribes in Northern Cross River have languages mutually intelligible with some Edo-North tribes also means Cross River is Edo and therefore a Yoruba State based on your puerile logic.
Then which state is left in the SS that fits correctly into your logic? May be only Bayelsa and Akwa Ibom. Even Bayelsa by, virtue of its indigenous Muslems, is either SW or North according to your logic. So only Akwa Ibom is the state left in your own version of SS. What a pitiable mindset! You said Edo is not culturally or geographically SS? Please which school did you attend? Are Nigeria regions purely geographical/cardinal demarcations or rather geopolitical mappings? Are they called Geo-cultural Regions or Geopolitical Regions? If the former is the case, then what is the purely geo-cultural relationship between the Itsekiri part of Delta and the Ogoja part of Cross River both of which you agree are in the SS? What is the geographical or cultural relationship between Fulanis in Illorin and idomas of Benue to qualify them both into NC if it is purely Geographical/cultural? What are the Igbos in Benue doing in the North Central if our regions are based on cultural mappings? What are the Ijaws of Ondo doing in the SW if it is by cultural mapping? There are native Itsekiris and Ijaws in Edo State, so by your foolish and preposterous logic those Itsekiris and Ijaws of Edo state are Yorubas while the Itsekiris and Ijaws of Delta State are not Yorubas but SS. You must be very high on the hard drugs your brothers traffic through MMIA. Or are you simply are confusing "geographical" with "geopolitical"? When we say stop sniffing cocaine and eating human flesh you refuse. See the result now? Please go back to school fast. The SS is a region created for Southerners who are neither Yorubas nor Igbos irrespective of their cultures or geographical space relationships. Get that into your rotten bigoted brain.

As for the rest parts of your comments I have already answered them but you dodged them:
1. Who voted OBJ back to power after his land use degree onslaught on the SS in his first stint?
2. Who sold the South to the Arewanistan through NCNC-NPC alliance?
3. Which people voted for OBJ, an Arewanistan, slave against their own intelligent Aburi Accord hero so much that the latter could not get 20% votes among his own people?
4. Who killed APGA that was founded by the Aburi Accord Hero?
5. Which people rejected secession clause when they felt they needed one-Nigeria for survival at a time every other tribe made it known that Nigeria was a British fraud and wanted to exit it?
6. Which tribe did what remotely triggered the war?
7. Which people dismantled federalism?
If you can't answer these questions then all your rantings about who killed who in the war are pure rubbish and inverted accusations. You sowed the wind and reaped the whirlwind. Simple!

@Deadlytrash, madness is surely chasing you round the world!

What a load of trash from a confused Uneme-Nekhua minion who is too scared of being left behind with his slave masters!

You must be a by-product of an Italian based ashee and a notorious armed robber in the ranks of your kinsman, Lawrence Anini.

If the lies you wrote hold any water you and your partners in crime who have criminally benefitted and still benefitting from this contraption wouldn't be running amok on every media page, calling and supporting the use of violence and extra-judicial killings as a means to quelling a genuine agitation as against opting for a simple referendum.

Igbos are not interested in parasites, traitors or genocide conspirators. The Igbo struggle is strictly for hardworking achievers and goal-getters, and not for lazy cowards who have only survived by being stooges and weak-minded fellows.

No sane Biafran would wish to share a country with anything Edoid or Yoruboid.
You need to have your head examined by a brain expert for a remedy so you can stop wasting your time raving and ranting foolishly and senselessly on NL.

You and your parasitic elites have been in the habit of betraying the trust of the South. You rarely stand up to counter the great evils, injustice, inequity and lopsided arrangement in the polity but would rather join hands with the enemies of progress to ensure the continuation of evils in the land.

Your sins will surely find you murderous parasites out. There's no hiding for you. You shall reap your evils sooner than later.
Karma is standing sentry at your door post already.

You need to do something about your worthless life.

Edo was simply used to complete SS, Edo is geographically and culturally not SS. Edo is more or less SW, and is in no position to speak for the SS.
Edo and Yorubas are one; joined together by Oduduwa who sent his son Eweka to bring Ife superior civilization to the Binis.

Igbos don't need you anything Yoruboid or Edoid.

If you're too pained with these revelations find the nearest brick wall and smash your empty-headed skull into smithereens!

Mr Uneme-Nekhua minion, you are needed in OduaArewanistan republic. Your slave masters still love to have you as loyal, slavish subjects. Go get enrolled in evening classes to master Quranic verses. Crash courses in Hausa, Fulani and Yoruba languages should give you an added advantage over your fellow murderous parasites.

Igbos have nothing in common with you leeches. Face OduaArewanistan republic, uniting all your fellow murderous folks and parasites. Leave Igbos out of your miseries.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anioma_people
Anioma is the indigenous Igbo people of Delta State. ... The Anioma region has a total population of 1,114,055. ... Some Anioma population can be found in neighboring Edo State specifically in Igbanke (Igbo Akiri), Oza and Ekpon. .... according to him the capital of the state is located in the Igbo speaking town of Anioma.

Until you answer me clearly and prove me wrong that Igbos were responsible for preventing the de-amalgamation of Nigeria your diatribes will always appear escapist and evasive in my eyes. Why can't you for once be honest and acknowledge that your Zik and Ironsi caused your seemingly irreversible bondage with those you call ass lickers and Arewanistan?

Even the truly federal constitution bequeathed onto us at independence was working fine. It was still one Mr. I- know-it-all from Igbo land that first tampered with it at a time the public did not demand constitution review. What was his motive if not fraud? It was his action that morally emboldened all others that came after him to fully bastardize the constitution from its wholly federal character to the unitary form which Braithwaite complained of. So whose fault again other than Igbos'?

20 years interval ?? This is spiritual .

Misery of a confused bigot from Wasteland!

In the 1990s MKO Abiola and his wife, Kudirat Abiola, were killed by your masters and heaven was not let loose and all that your agberos and OPC could do was to vent their anger on innocent people on the streets of Lagos; killing and maiming as many people they can lay their hands on.

Abdu$9l9mi and co poisoned Abiola in prison after being locked up for years.
Kudirat Abiola, 5th wife to MKO Abiola was gunned down by Al-mustapha in broad daylight. Bola Ige's life was snuffed out by "unknown" persons. Despite his kneeling and weeping before a junior officer, Gen Oladipo Diya was jailed for plotting a coup to unseat his master Abacha. He has not being his usual self as he was alleged to have been gang b9nged in prison.

Ernest Shenokan was humiliated out of office like a street tout after just 80 days in office. Diya, Adisa, Olanrewaju were humiliated and thrown out of office like common man on the street.

Awolowo used starvation to kill millions of Easterners and he ended up in a miserable way by suicide and died fulfilled as he was short-changed from being the ruler of the country by the same people he served to unleash death on Igbos.

Hausa-Fulanis have given prominent Yoruba men an overdose of humiliation that will last them a life time despite using them as slaves to prosecute the 1967-70 civil war against Igbos. But Yorubas have only but maintained a deafening silence and would rather point accusing fingers on Igbos who have been far from political power for close to 50 years.

Igbos invented "One Nigeria" and worked to defend it at a time it was clear that Nigeria was not one and could never become one.
Ojukwu did not see anything. He was an enemy of the Niger Delta because it was he who crushed the very first attempt the Niger Delta made to pull out of "One-Nigeria". Ojukwu was still loving one Nigeria and was ready to crush anyone whose activities threatened the survival of "One-Nigeria". Ojukwu even so loved "One-Nigeria" that he twice sent back to the North his own fellow Igbos who managed to escape to Enugu from the 1966 pogroms in the North. Ojukwu himself confessed he did that because he was genuinely convinced initially that Gowon was on a reconciliatory mission. A person who was still hoping to reconcile with a system that had already killed thousands of his own people. And you call such a person a seer of the future? Why could Ojukwu and Ironsi not declare Biafra while they were still in power and calling the shots?
Isaac Boro and Niger Deltans had already woken up before Ojukwu and Biafrans later painfully realized it was daybreak.
I beg to differ Mr revisionist, Ojukwu knew Nigeria more than most Nigerians of his contemporaries and if there is one thing Ojukwu stood for way back then it was "injustices from the hands of the oppressors (up North in collaborations with their British Lords)" Isaac Adaka Boro's "12-day mini Civil War" was suppressed by the Nigerian troops. Ojukwu never threw himself at one Nigeria but his kinsman, Zik, did. Get your facts right Ojukwu warned the minorities in the then Old Eastern Region of what would later befall them now they never listened. For your info, Kenule Beeson Saro-Wiwa fought on the side of the Nigerian Troop during the Civil War. Good morning!

The Eastern Command of Nigerian troops under Ojukwu's command as Eastern Region military governor attacked Boro and fought the 12 day war against him. If Ojukwu did not throw himself at "One Nigeria" then why could he not caution Ironsi against promulgating the infamous Unification Decree but he (Ojukwu) even gleefully announced over the radio at the advent of the Unification Decree that Eastern civil servants would start getting transferred to the Northern Region since the Civil service had been centralized by Ironsi. If that was not a snatch at "one Nigeria" then what was it? Isaac Boro too warned Ojukwu of the dangers ahead for Igbos on their one Nigeria fantasy but Ojukwu refused to heed, instead he led the squad that fought, arrested and jailed Boro. Ojukwu even twice sent back to the North some Easterners who escaped home. He claimed he did that to demonstrate his faith in one-Nigeria. It is on you-tube. Videos don't lie.
And for your mockery of SS people on what Ojukwu said would befall them; I want you to realize that "one-Nigeria" soldiers did not massacre SS people but massacred Ojukwu's brothers in millions. So who had more evil befall them from one Nigeria between Igbo and SS?
Only economic problems befell SE minorities (now Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa and Cross River) and which was caused by Ironsi a brother to Ojukwu.

Adaka Boro of blessed memory saw a different angle to what Ojukwu was advocating for the people of Biafra but the vision Adaka had for his Niger Delta people is with whose support? Ojukwu had a well defined plan for Biafran and these Niger Deltans were "minorities" then, hence Ojukwu advised Adaka to join hands with him so as to safe guard the resources of the then Eastern region from the prying eyes of the Northern boys. Ironsi's promulgation of the unitary system over the then abolished pseudo-federalism was to unify the once federating units into a "broad family" in order to pacify the aggrieved North but what made it unpopular was Ironsi's bold approach to go for merit based systems in appointments into civil service and the military over the majority quota system that favoured the unlearned Northeners (where a graduate of the Southern extraction is promoted to level 8 while his mate from the Northern extraction is promoted to level 10 with a better salary despite not coming out with the same grade as his Southern counterpart).

As for your "mockery" of Ojukwu's sudden support for one Nigeria, I beg to differ, why? Biafra was fought for and lost. Ojukwu went on exile was pardoned by the Shagari's administration, tried to get into the government to champion the cause of his people but already while in exile his people had been disenchanted from the Biafran cause so what do you want him to champion.... How did you arrive at the conclusion that Ojukwu had a defined vision for Biafra while Isaac Adaka Boro hadn't any for his own Niger Delta Republic?
If Isaac Boro really hadn't his people's support then what informed the placing of Adaka Boro's picture on the recently released Niger Delta Pound by the Niger Delta Avengers currently seeking the Sovereign state of Niger Delta? The truth is that Adaka Boro is highly revered among Ijaws and across the SS. If he declared Niger Delta Republic against the wishes of the Ijaws and Southern minorities generally, then how come he earns their reverence even in his grave? Why is it that the NDAs' website's main catchphrase is "The spirit of Adaka Boro lives on"? Let's stop denying obvious facts.
And if Ojukwu actually based his Biafra declaration on his people's support and approval as you would have us believe, then who in the then Midwest gave him the approval and support to invade and even occupy Benin City, Warri, Sapele, Auchi, Igarra, Lampese and other Midwestern towns with Biafran troops? Why could his troops not simply and quietly transit through the Midwest to their major and Original destination of Lagos knowing fully well that they had no Midwesterner's mandate to occupy the region and conquer it? Or did any Midwesterner try to obstruct Biafran troops advancement to Lagos to warrant Ojukwu's decision to crackdown on them by ruthlessly taking over the region as he did? No single Midwest civilian or soldier tried that. In fact if Ojukwu's troops had just used Midwest for the purpose of transit alone and therefore had headed straight to Lagos that very day, he would have won the war without civilian casualties as he would have caught Gowon napping, much less prepared than how he became after Biafran troops had wasted time in Benin thereby giving Lagos enough time to strategize, and less combat ready so that Lagos would have been on the defensive and in disarray from day one. But the occupation of and waste of time in Benin over which he received no mandate to occupy, gave Gowon enough space and time to organize a very effective offensive which landed Ojukwu on the defensive throughout the war and led to his crushing defeat.
Ojukwu was driven by the desire to subdue, conquer and coerce the minorities into Biafra and not by any approval per se of any civilian population. Ojukwu's unilateral invasion and conquest of the Midwest obviously contributed to Isaac Boro's fear of what Ijaws fate would be in a new Republic ruled by such a man, hence Boro's refusal to be part of Biafra. He who wears the shoe knows where it pinches.

I've made it known to you severally that Igbos are not interested in sharing a country with lying hypocrites who are confused about what they stand for.

It's your kind of people who have helped to destroy this entity and brought it into ruins by your perpetual ass-licking stance.

If you're sensible you would have channelled your negative energies to countering the maiming and killings of your kinsmen for fun for decades by the marauding herdsmen; but you wouldn't and can't. And you think that Igbos are your mates that you and your cotravellers can just wake up from stupor and start ranting senselessly at.

Stop rambling like a broken record! Your pulling out baseless theories of absurdity to blackmail the Igbo Nation to continue with you in this cesspit is DOA and such shenanigan cannot save you!

It has been a curse on Igbos having your likes in the same country and this curse is broken already and the serpent head is severely bruised and that's why you've been on rampage for some months now attempting in vain to resurrect a walking corpse.

Take your miseries to OduaArewanistan republic where bunch of hypocrites and confused bigots are found.

Deadlytruth, I'm afraid you said too much. You need not respond with all guns blazing!

Deadlytruth:

The Eastern Command of Nigerian troops under Ojukwu's command as Eastern Region military governor attacked Boro and fought the 12 day war against him. If Ojukwu did not throw himself at "One Nigeria" then why could he not caution Ironsi against promulgating the infamous Unification Decree but he (Ojukwu) even gleefully announced over the radio that the advent of the Unification Decree that Eastern civil servants would start getting transferred to the Northern Region since the Civil service had been centralized by Ironsi .
Only economic problems befell SE minorities and which was caused by Ironsi a brother to Ojukwu.

Deadlytrash, I understand that you and your inconsequential Uneme-Nekhua people are already choking in your vomits. The mere thought of Biaf... and NK sends cold shivers down your spines.

As a tribe of Judas with a foundation of treachery, the blood of your supposed Anioma brothers whom you freely slaughtered in connivance with your masters is already haunting you to your inevitable end.

Here is the speech by Ahmadu Bello, the Sarduana of Sokoto, on Igbos mostly resident in the North as at then, much before the 1966 coup or the so-called Unification Decree being brandished by the frustrated hypocrite, Deadlytrash, who's scared stiff to spend the rest of his life with his Fulani masters:

Isaac Boro: Classic Example Of Biafran Who Betrayed Biafra. osundefender

ishiamu post:

Isaac Boro was killed at the peak of the war in controversial circumstances that strongly linked Colonel Benjamin Adenkule to the death, while Ken Saro Wiwa was eventually killed by Sani Abacha, who worked with him during the war, at Bonny. The stories of Isaac Adaka Boro and Ken Saro Wiwa are great lessons for contemporary and potential betrayals of the renewed movement for the restoration of Biafran Republic.
...
As soon as Boro died, his 1000 band of soldiers was disbanded. According to Olusegun Obasanjo in his book My Command, Adekunle’s post-war political ambition pushed him into killing Boro, as he was using the war to building a ‘formidable’ name for himself. Obasanjo stated that “Col. Adekunle, at this point saw the war not only in terms of crushing a rebellion, but also as a means of building himself up for any future political position or responsibility which he might wish to seek, I knew of people of Western State origin who had felt politically victimized and who saw in Col. Adekunle a saviour and told him so, and he believed them.”

What Boro fought and died for had eluded his people for years. Niger Delta has remained impoverished despite the huge revenue it has continued to generate for the country. Oil fields and mining leases have been allocated to northern oligarchs and friends. Isaac Boro remains a lesson for future revolutionaries in knowing where to pitch their tent.

“If anybody tells you as an Ijaw man that Yorubas or Hausas love you, it’s a lie.”

“We the elders will not allow foreign bedfellows take over this state. An Ijaw man has never been conquered, we would not allow it to happen. You can call it any name. Weather they come from the Southwest, whether they come from the North to conquer us.”
“If anybody tells you as an Ijaw man that these people love you, it’s a lie. I know them and they know me too.
The South-west and the North if they come together they will continue to produce the president of this country for life. We have no hope, so we must consolidate on what we have here.
We cannot afford to fall into that trap. We will perpetually be slaves. We should protect what belongs to us, we shall not allow our young men to be brainwashed.”
“This country must be restructured. We must practice true federalism, otherwise these people will continue to exploit us. We had a President from here. They just decided to take it back, and they took it. Is that the system the young people want to run into?
What will even the Federal Government do to you if you decide to stay where you are.”

Indeed, you must be suffering from Cotard’s Delusion, “Walking Corpse Syndrome”.

Neanderthal savage of dirt, squalor, slavery, anger, hate and propaganda from Odua Islamic Republic of Ritual-killers and Cannibals, I really pity you and your cowardly Yoruba people who stand for nothing, and are perpetually being hunted for sports by your Fulani masters. It's your destiny on earth!

If the mouth can be used as AK-47 guns, Yorubas would have been a world-power by now.

The jihadist MKO Abiola boasted that he can do without the Igbos. But when Yorubas started their trouble in 1993 using 'June 12' with their Odua Republic in mind prominent Igbos joined NADECO to champion the course to restore Abiola's mandate.

Ralph Obioha and Bobo Nwosisi were the only people with Abiola when he declared himself president-elect. Yoruba people were nowhere to be found and couldn't even protect him from being whisked away until he was eventually poisoned to death in prison.

And to worsen the matter the greedy and wicked Yoruba Obas sold Abiola and his mandate to Abacha for a mesh of porridge.

The atrocious deeds of your forbears will continue to haunt unrepentant Yoruba generations. The hatred, greed and wickedness of the Yoruba Nation would consume them, sooner than later!
