And you forget to Add Almighty Java, PHP, ASP.NET, SQL Database and Web/Mobile Application Development.

The Programming language stated above are mostly meant for Software Development. Not eveybody can delve into software considering their diverse fields and background.

You can also delve into learning CMS (Drupal, Joomla, Wordpress, (TYPO 3), e.t.c) I bolded the Typo 3 because this is what major schools, organizations/company uses in Germany.

Moreso, graphic packages like Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw, Microsoft Packages(Word, Excel, Powerpoint) are also very key.

Without forgetting to includ IT programmes like SAP, Oracle, ERP, CRM at least for the social science students.

you guys should visit http://www.sololearn.com/

It'll help you get started..

Adding some touch of German will also do you alot of Goodies.

Hello sir/ma, I also applied to CAU, awaiting notification. What program are you going for when did you get the admission notification and when was the application deadline for your program? I applied for Climate Physics, deadline was June 1st and was asked to wait few weeks after the deadline for notification. Don't mind my too many questions, need to the normal time frame between application deadline and notification. Thanks
Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 3 by chinok97: 2:34pm On Jun 07, 2016
yes boss, write gce, although i dont know hw long it takes the certificate to be out tho even after results are out, but that's the best option, den also try to get at least a uni 100lv Transcripts in dis country first and should relate smwat to intended course u wana do in Germany, although i know sm1 who got into madgeburg for bsc with her hnd transcripts, but get a complete o'level

Don't bother to write any GCE exam. NABTEB is as good as NECO. Combination of both with your HND will give you admission into Bsc. Nothing like pgd program in Germany. Shalom

I greet all.
Pls ooo, just to clarify things, I requested my school to send transcripts to uni-assist, it got to their mailbox last week Tuesday, I just got acknowledgement today and it was refereed to as "CERTIFICATE".

PLS I hope uni-assist certificate means Transcripts or BSC certificate. I need clarity.

honestly 700 euro for tuition alone is already above 670 monthly tuition
Accommodation is quite expensive in Berlin so that'll mean another big issue before you talk of other things like feeding and all
Block account money alone is not enough
But there are jobs in Berlin
Plenty job dey
But you need to decide if you can cope

@aibee01, pompido, Williamso, pls I need advice on accommodation in Kiel(CAU). Deadline says 15th June. Thanks!
hello, if you have your admission already its better you apply for a room....i did that last year and i even got a room even before my visa interview...are you coming to CAU or FH?

It's for accomodation app, I've admission for MSc Materials Science and eng.
The confusion was on distance from campus cos I saw 2km, 1km...and living on campus. I'm looking at Studentendorf, Prof Anshütz Haus etc from the Studentenwerk site since I guess accomodation from studentenwerk is better.
Better to go for furnished room or to furnish by oneself?
Material science department is far from all the hostels ....so forget about the distance..., furnished rooms are preferable......though CAH is among the cheapest but its kinda old and located a lot distance from the school/supermarket n co...

If you are totally looking to fund the fees with the money you will earn from jobs then I will advice you with two words, "forgerrit mehn!" It's not as if it's not possible but It might not be viable.
