even on a normal day many of us skip our meals and may eat just once a day not because of lack of food but maybe u were busy with work and all..or just skipped it for skipping case.. and we would not fall sick or die. nothing will happen.

Rubish! Who ever points a knife will get killed by the knife. Christians don't eat break fast and lunch during their 40 days fasting yet they didn't complain but muslims eat heavy breakfast which can even make up for lunch yet they complain. Its even during this period they enjoy the most because most of them eat balanced diet during this period. Some muslim do hard labour during their fasting period but complain must be laid because it's camping activity. Camping is not compulsory. Anyone who doesn't want to camp can go and DIE by his or her knife.

Christians fast 40 days and don't take breakfast and lunch yet they don't complain when orientation and camping exercise falls in lent. You guys eat breakfast and don't fast up to 40 days yet you complain. Which doctrine in the Bible or Qu'ran prohibits NYSC camping during Lent or ramadan.

This democracy sef, is this year the first time Muslims have fasted on camp, I wonder why this year's one is an issue, I was on camp in Aug 2008, which was the first time Muslims fasted on camp (I stand to b corrected), and we didn't have this kind of issue, it went smoothly, different states had diff means of adjusting to meal timetables.
I did not miss any activity on camp, in fact I participated in the drill competition and my platoon won, with all.of this I never missed any prayer, coz with or without Ramadan Muslims must be allowed to pray, so what's with all the fuzz. It's really beginning to piss me off that everything has to be either religious or ethnic based.
FYI for I am a Muslim from the north and I served in Ebonyi state. Was in constant communication with friends in diff camps around d country and none had any issue.
It's in spirit of democracy that NYSC is even responding to issues like these they consider sensitive.

I'm a Muslim too, and I see no reason why corpers shouldn't hold their camps during Ramadan....

They should think of Somalians who have no food to eat before and after the fast, at least provisions for sahur and iftaar would be provided there, no matter what....

This camp has been postponed for so long, let it continue jare......

MURIC has nothing to worry about, the corpers will be able to carry out their Ramadan obligations though with a little restrictions. This is the worst of times to be making demands
