Did you read of the places she has worked and how many years. Who had ever occupied those positions and cannot afford those things?

What is your definition of hard work?

Hardwork?
Well I guess it is really hardwork to steal state funds and convert it to your personal fortune. Wear diamonds and gold while your people are dirt poor.
Eat in the best restaurants while others eat from the rubbish bin.
It's really hardwork to steal and pretend like it was yours to take.
Hardwork indeed.

Nigerians are funny. They will fight their neighbour that is on the same level as they are instead of the landlord cheating them. They will insult Resident Doctors instead of asking for the arrest of the CMD and Board running the ill-equipped hospitals their loved ones died in. They sill defend any politician who appeals to their tribe even if the politician hasn't even tarred the roads in their local govt or bothered to build a clinic sef.

My dear, it really beats me.. We need re - orientation. Our enemies are these looters but we divert our attention to common men like us on the streets and unleash the frustrations caused by these looters in the first place while some will die defending them. You said it all.

I plead that we learn to celebrate a hard worker's acheivement.

This woman like Okonji-Iwela left their lofty positions in reputable international firms to answer national call, we are scaring them away. Just see how our economy as turn to in a short while.

Please lets help Nigeria ''so Nigeria won't die''

This EFCC is bunch of myopic and retarded people. It is unconstitutional and tantamount to image destruction and assassination to label someone a criminal or corrupt without conviction.

Since this change regime, it is Diezani this or Diezani that, yet not a single prosecution to possibly convict her for all the corrupt charges, this is unacceptable. They should stop this child's play. Nigerians are enlightened and will not accept these chip propaganda.

Well, I'm not surprised, they simply erand boys trying to excite their master. Nonsense.

Menstrualpad or whatever you call your self, if Diezani is truly innocent of all these barrage of allegations and innuendoes she has been subjected to since she left government especially the latest one, let her sue the EFFCC and possibly Al Jazeera for defamation of character and claim for damages rather than joining issues with them on the pages of newspapers and in the social media. If she is sincere and can possibly tell the whole world where she got her sudden wealth, then she will be exonorated and the court will award substantial amount of money as damages.Until this is done, many people will continue to assume that she stole why she was in government because this a common trend with Nigerian government officials. the fact that she was once an executive director in Shell does NOT make her billionaire overnight.EFCC has made allegation with tangible and verifiable evidence it is left with Diezani to come and clear her name with FACTS and FIGURES rather than mare assertions and whipping up of sentiments.
Shut up

A woman who's been a Minister up to 3 times and has also held a lot of positions in both Private and Public oil sector nationally and internationally is not expected to be poor.

Exaggerating the worth of her properties and jewellery won't help either.

By the way when is the Federal Government going to probe the numerous criminals in APC?

Dieziani, if those allegations as you claim are false, why aren't you bold enough to institute a law case against Al-jazeera, EFCC or the FGN? Corrupt woman trying so hard to save her face in shame. In a sane clime, even as minister of the FRN, you don't have the earnings to own such properties.

Don't mind them, even from this news, she is only a director less then two year.

She joined Shell since 1992 as core staff and worked there for over 20 years.

In Diezani's case, only legal proof of stolen funds can actually prove anything. Maybe she stole, maybe she didn't; we don't know.
She has been thrice a Minister and, steal or not, no Minister serves in Nigeria and comes out a poor man. The position leaves you wealthy and gives access to lots of opportunity.
Diezani had a lot of contractors who were falling over themselves to seek her audience - some of them would have brought "appreciation." That is the way the Nigerian civil service is.
Her aides used to charge thousands of USD before they even allow you to find out her itinerary and meet her.

Besides, her husband is a billionaire in his own right.

Lets call spade, a spade. I don't have any grudges against her. But a thief is a thief. To be able to own all those assets including the ones she voluntarily returned to the government means she has stolen all through her public service. All I expect from her is one word: Sorry to all Nigerians.

Surprised to see your input on this thread, yet to see your response on the thread where Lai Muhammed proclaim they have fulfilled their promise to Nigerians concerning job creation. That aside, the last time I checked we have court of law, they determine when a person is guilty of a crime
(just as they did in rivers that Ameachi has questions to answer) so am just wondering why the media prosecution. Is it that in a normal court preceding EFCC won't be able to win their case that is why they resort to media prosecution to make the masses think they are working, are we no longer in a democratic rule anymore? Is it right for people to be accused of a crime and not charged to court for persecution, not really supporting anybody for now, but you need to visit prisons you will find out that more than 40% of the inmates are yet to be charged to court, some have been there for years. Still wondering if we have a constitution that defends the right of the citizen or is Nigeria truly a barbaric nation where anything goes

OKAY. lets say the jeweleries are not worth that much. But then the EFCC is not stupid. They know she owns the house and the jeweleries. Notice she didn't deny owning the house in the whole write up.... but we know she is taking advantage of the grace that this buhari led administration didn't release the names of those who embezzled our funds and they are certain they are not going to jail.... truth be told, i envy her CV and i wish i had them. But where in her CV deserves to own an $18M dollar house... Fear God

Diezani am with you don't mind them including mynd44.
Mynd44 your comment is preposterous and unbecoming...her ladyship diezani hasn't been put on trial and presumed innocent until a court of competent jurisdiction convicts her!... Maybe you don't know that Diezani was a Shell staff for over a decade and rose to become a director of that multinational corporation.... Or you are ignorant of the fact that she married a former military chieftain who's also a former minister under obj... Not done do you know she has always had a privileged background? Or maybe you forgot you bought fuel @ 87 naira under her watch!

The rustic and uncouth will stone a man before he is convicted. Guilty until proven innocent is their philosophy.
All the show of mansions and jewelry is just a distraction from the incompetence of the EFFC to carry out incisive and analytical investigation and acquire a CONVICTION. I thought she stole $20 billion dollars(don't you damn quote me to say $18 million dollars mansion and $2 million jewelry is part of it,I know!),are we no longer talking about that? When will she be convicted (I think I have overused that word CONVICTED already). Is the EFCC now an entertainment company running reality tv series?
The Nigerian state should get a conviction from any court in the world so we all can stone her but until then she is INNOCENT.

As a banker ,I can tell you an executive director in a bank can buy all that without hassle let alone executive director in shell. What do you mean? For someone who has been a minister for so many years under various government, you are questioning her over a jewelry of 2m dollars. What an insult. The oil well fraudulently givend to danjuma etal should be investigated first before you come to this woman. You people haven't seen anything. It is only in nigeria that the real owner of wealth are tagged as thieves while the real thieves are allowed to enjoy thier money lavishly. Nonsense .

going through her work history only buttress why she is being investigated for 13billion pounds fraud. She can't work in all those places and earn such amount

Who says that, do you know how much off shore workers take home. We are not even talking about her husband's wealth. Moreso, do you think she had no investment that increased her earning capacity all those years of working outside Jonathan's government?
Is time we change of mentality of people who has money and are privileged to serve the nation.
If you believe they stole while in office, why no prosecute them properly than inciting the citizenry against them to score cheap popularity.
