What's going on is that every product has expire date, Nigeria as a product has expired, it needs to be restructured very urgently to avoid it going the way of Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Libya, Somalia etc. |

The Amanyanabo of Okrika kingdom has a lot of oil wells situated in his kingdom. He has no oil well. But the Sultan of Sokoto has over 10 oil wells in Niger Delta. The Amanyanabo of Bonny in Niger Delta has oil wells in his kingdom, but he has no oil well to his name but The Emir of Kano has over 5 oil wells in Niger Delta territories. The Amanyanabo of Kalabari has so many oil wells in his kingdom but has no oil well to his name in his kingdom but the Emir of Gwazo has over 5 oil wells in Niger Delta territories. In Ogonilands there are so many oil wells but none of the kings in Ogonilands have any oil wells but General Danjuma has over 10 oil wells in Ogonilands. The list can go on but Niger Delta people and their kings don't have oil wells . Such a situation, will you say it is fair to the Niger Delta people in Nigeria? Let's restructure and live in unity. The cheating is very bad and not fair. This is the bane of the corruption in Nigeria. |

they v'e over stepped their boundary but I don't blame them , I blame FG for negotiating with them in the first instance now any greedy group can just come up and blow pipelines and they call them for negotiations, but they can't do otherwise cos they are all corrupt. |

It's same so-called avengers doing all these things. They're trying to create an impression that the military will be overwhelmed trying to fight so many groups at the same time, when it's all one group, bringing different fake generals and spewing trash. I'm sure the Nigerian military knows more than this. They'll taste the bitter pills of their stubbornness and craftiness. |

Cheap, mobile-phone accessible internet is power and power corrupts absolutely. As is the Nigerian norm, once someone finds a profitable venture or a way to quick money, everyone wants to do the same thing...a weird sort of mass monopoly phenomenon, if this is not contradictory Look, one day when the people in power in Nigeria wake-up and put Nigeria and Nigerians first they should do some of the following among the other things: Basic things which most be implemented before the other stuff people always mention: Border control. Internet access control. Modernize and invest in Army (all three branches) Modernize and invest in Police Modernize and invest in Secret service Invest in the nascent space Program or/and link it to the military Create University of Governorship. (No one without certificate in governorship should run for governorship of state) Invest in Record Keeping. Take registration of Births and Deaths seriously. Abandon ECOWAS free-movement of citizens treaty Diversify economy with emphases on agriculture and technology 1 Like |

actually, people keep suggesting less central power and more emphasis on state power but state governors in Nigeria seem overall incompetent as things stand. Perhaps there should be some sort of stipulation in the constitution that enables anyone elected as president of Nigeria to suggests at least three developmental goals that each governor must archive for his state (enshrined in some way ) in additions to the ones the Governor himself wishes to achieve. |

It is the lukewarmness or deliberate attitude of GEJ in check mating militancy in the Niger Delta that led to cache of weapons in the hands of militants when we have the Military and police to provide security of government property. Nobody seems to ask how did these criminal elements parading themselves as freedom fighters got their military hardware they now branding. GEJ really neautralize the projecting power of Nigeria navy and did untold damage to the morale of Nigeria army. GEJ is the Nigeria version of British Neville Chamberlain whose quest for peace at all costs blinded him against the rearmament of Germany under Hitler, and eventual militarization of the Rhineland. With Hitler's annexation of Czechoslovakia in 1939, it became clear to the British weakling prime minister that war was imminent and when he did declare war on Germany, it was too late. The unpreparedness and imminent defeat of Britain to Nazi Germany stared him on the face and he had to resign to pave way for war veteran in person of Sir Wiston Churchill. GEJ turned a blind eye to militarization of niger Delta when Tompolo became defence contractor -- purchasing military gun boats from Norway. The Military under GEJ was helpless to caution Tompolo. GEJ was everything a real leader shouldn't be. He opened the vault of CBN so that his praise singers would feast on our common patrimony, surrounded himself with women to eventually lay waste to our economy, even when crude oil- the main stay of our national life sold at $100 a barrel, GEJ in the word of his erstwhile coordinating minister of the economy, lacked the political will to save for the raining day. For five years, he was commander in chief, lest I forgot, he relinquished that position when he warned Nigerians never to call him commander in chief, he looked on while money meant for arming our gallant soldiers were shared by his PDP croonies, boko haram killed our soldiers and devasted our lands, sacking communities with reckless abandoned. GEJ goofed in an unpardonable way when the chief intelligence officer, Azazzi as NSA made the indicting remark in 2012, that PDP - the ruling party was the sponsor of Boko Haram. No sooner GEJ wedged the heavy hammer by showing Azazzi the way out of office. The Christian Association of Nigeria under pastor Ayo, didn't protest and Niger Delta Avengers didn't emerge in wake of killing of two christians and a high profile Niger deltan in helicopter crash in heart of Niger Delta all to silent the former NSA boss because he knew too much. Many applauded GEJ as the first Ph.D holder to rule Nigeria, yet his thesis is no where to be found. A Ph.D holder didn't know what it entailed to be a C-In-C that he warned against be described thus? GEJ as an opportunistic president was an appeaser- his appeasement led us to this economic ruin we suffering today owing to the criminal activities of the Niger Delta who suddenly realised that they have been suffering since Nigeria's independence when their philanthropist in Aso rock lost power. |

Those who called for negotiation with militants for the second time should be held responsible. Many more will spring up. If you think they cannot carry out their threat then you are living in a dream World. Those Urhobo boys are more deadly than avengers. |
