urahara: There were certainly few mistakes in the copying of some bible text .but it's only a minor thing because it had to do with numerals . It doesn't affect the truth or revelations communicated |

Joagbaje:of course I'm not perfect, and my sms wasn't inspired from above...I never claimed any of that. If u were a witness in court, you were asked when last u saw a suspect. At first u said 3 weeks ago, then later on u were asked the same question and u said 2 months ago. Does that make u honest? 1 Like |

realmindz: satan is not self existing, satan derives his existence from God. When God wants to punish a person/people, He sends satan to them, satan is the name of the hand of God's punishment, satan is anyone that God uses to bring wrath or punishment or evil. Anybody that God uses to punish another person is satan. God's wrath arose against Israel, and David was used as satan to punish her. Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? Shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it? 2 Likes 1 Share |

realmindz: The text of the bible were copied by hand before the invention of the printing press. Some scribes duplicating it could make numerical error. It's only in few places that occur in the Old Testament . And it has to do with numerals . |

realmindz:These are not actually contradictory statements. God is the one who commands Satan — Satan's master and creator is the God of Israel. Satan was created for the job he does and he acts true to his programming. That is what Scripture in fact reveals. So, in the Book of Job where we see that Job did not lay blame for any of what happened to him on Satan, but said "God did it...," Job wasn't being foolish at all. Job was after all a man approved righteous by God. |

youngaz:Look up the meaning of the word Inspired in the Dictionary and try to realize how much it differs from the word True in the same Dictionary. By the way, the different accounts regarding how many visited the tomb were not of error or contradiction but of facts available to each writer at the time of the writing of their particular gospel. The one writer may have only been able to gather from one source that only 2 were there while another source had more details of others that may have been there as well. These issues have nothing to do with error or contradiction, so let's not all jump up to claim out private confusion contradictions contained within Scripture. |

realmindz: Historical books of the Bible are not necessarily part of the books written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. They are just documented account of what transpired in God's dealing with the nation of Israel. The men of Old had limited knowledge of God and of even the devil. In fact, most of the times, they attribute everything that happens as the act of God. So, both narrators are writing their perspective of what they thought influenced David to number Israel. The books that were written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and the prophetic books and you will never see any single error or contradictions in the prophecies given by all the Prophets. There are of course under contents in the other books that were written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. For instance, Jacob prophecies concerning all his children were said under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. |

Emypresh:None of what you claim is factual. The one who gave the command was David and he did it against God's Will(God's Law) which is clear on how and when a census are to be taken in the land of Israel. 2. The devil did not make him do anything. David was well aware of what the Law said regarding these things. Even the ones He gave the command to knew well that that order was against God but they had to carry it out since it came from the King and all of Israel suffered as a result in the end. |

■ Take am easy dey lie, abeg. Mumuafrika, is Satan God's errand boy, arch enemy, gay lover?Satan actually works for God. Most people are so fixated on the idea of Satan being an enemy but they forget that this enemy was crested by God and works exactly as he was programmed by God to - Job 1 is an example of how God uses Satan. 2. What destiny? What has destiny to do with Satan or even this issue? Na your Babalawos dey talk destiny and fate and all that jargon. 3. It doesn't make Satan good rather it means what Satan does is not sin against God but what God has created Him for.. |

Medicis:In Numbers 23, Balaam said, regarding Israel , that no omen or power can afflict the people of Israel;it is the God of Israel that blesses and curses His people. So long as He is God of Israel, even Satan cannot do anything without God's explicit permission. Both statements are in fact valid ---- not contradictions. |

specimenC:None of those who lived during the time of the writing of Scripture, until the end of the first century ever referred to Scripture as the Word of God. The one is instead referred to as the Word of God in Scripture is Jesus Christ, this is what is contained within the pages of the books of Scripture. However, ever since the end of the Last days of God's judgment against the Nation of Israel(and Judah) in the land of Canaan, the religion of Christianity, a religion removed from Jesus Christ's actual teachings and commandments has been desperately trying to take the title away from Jesus Christ and giving it instead to their particular collection of books of Scripture. |
