I have this lady that we've been cool together and we've been going along well, I love her and all indications shows that she does too. I'm aware she has a daughter during her undergraduate due to some youthful exorbitant mistep and all, she is trying to disconnect everything between her and her baby father but I do tell her that you can't rewrite history and even if she try her all to disconnect the bond, the daughter will end up asking about her father. To cut the story short, I invited her on a date in our neighborhood and lol and behold, she came with her daughter and I was surprise. Its not that I have any problems seeing her daughter but it was a surprise seeing her. I love babies and I go along well with her and show her affection and all that. My curiousity is that what was her motive for coming along with her daughter on a date? Is it a lack of trust issue or probably want to know my reaction & body language towards her daughter? I need matured advice especially from the ladies and relationships expert.

Is the lady and her daughter still there right now or what's the fuss

I wonder why u were surprised on seeing her daughter which u already know? Bros maybe u get plan B

maybe she has no one to look after her or they'v got dis strong bond.

Bros dis may look like a small matter but u need to be very careful in handling it cos a word from u bout her daughter dat doesn't go down well with her can put d relationship to an end.

U need to understand the pains of a single mother.

Ladies generally tend to feel more secured when they have someone else beside them. I guess its the same reason some bring their friends on a first date. And besides its possible she didn't have anyone to leave the child with, and didn't want to disappoint you by cancelling the date...

Women want to feel safe. They want to know if you're the right person for her and her daughter. (because it is not about her anymore.

Its simple. She is trying to tell u that "if u must date/marry me den u must accept my daughter"

She probably did that so you guys can bond easily and probably give you little task of responsibility. Not bad but not a great idea if you didn't request for it. Meanwhile your reaction is what really matters here. Act like you do not count it .

I don't think she takes the kid to every date.. that would be dumb!..I think she feels a connection with the OP.

forget about every other thing; if you really love her you should bond with that kid ASAP!

trust me its a big plus on your side if the kid gets to like you

well it might be because when it indirectly asked her she told me that she wouldn't stay long with me if she isn't with her and will in turn be in haste to go

I never in anyway criticize her bring her daughter, moroeover playing with the kid isn't a birth My only concern was her motive because it was the last thing I was expecting and nothing more

hmmmmm nice 1, the daughter even cased a scene at a point which felt a little embarrassing but who I'm in to get upset, I know the young girl My is plane and I turn around the whole situation. Its true its not cool taking her out on every date but we've had a date in the past and she didn't bring her
