Imo state, the only state in Nigeria reduced to its capital city by a section of its citizens and state governments.

Imo state is a state where 419 manifests clearer in government. And the state has remained most under-developed because of that, compared with other states created same time with Imo.

Some Citizens jump to joy at every new fly over built in the state capital by their state governor; while the rest of Imo state outside the state capital remain as in the 1960s or glorified villages.

No body cares that the state allocations are meant by the federal government to provide development infrastructure equally to every local government area of the state.

The present governor of Imo state dreams of succeeding Buhari in Aso Rock. He believes by building things in the state capital, Owerri, he shall be noticed. Meanwhile, rain flood owing to absence of urban drainage works have been threatening to uproot many houses and church and sack whole communities in the second most populated local government area of the state.

The state government ignores these and build flyovers and road tunnels in the state capital because the governor wants to be noticed quicker

In order to get noticed quicker, present Imo state governor even paints or rebuilds mission secondary schools in Owerri; mission schools that should have no business with the state government.

But outside the state capital, many state government owned secondary schools are dilapidated, some have no roads leading to them. Those government schools outside the state capital can't be taken care of because the attention-seeking governor believes that no body is noticing what is outside the state capital.

GOVERNOR OKOROCHA APPEALS TO THOSE
AFFECTED BY THE ON-GOING DEMOLITION FOR UNDERSTANDING

Governor Rochas Okorocha has appealed to those whose properties have been affected by the on-going Construction works on some of the major roads in Owerri and environs for their understanding, adding that his intention was to build a State of our collective dreams and aspirations.

Governor Okorocha spoke Tuesday evening when he embarked on the inspection of Amakohia road where he drove straight to, from the Imo Airport, stressing that the policy of Imo my pride was dear to his heart and would ensure its realization in the overall interest of the State and her people.

Amidst excitement from residents of Amakohia road who came out in their large number to hail him, Governor Okorocha said the people were happy because they know he meant well, adding that before 2019 when his second term would elapse, he would have succeeded in building a new Imo the people of the State would be proud of.

His words, “Owerri is the fastest growing City in the Country at the moment. And we need to undertake certain development actions that would befit the City of our dream. We are expanding the roads. We also want to make Owerri the cleanest. We are building markets outside Owerri town to make it really a city we can all be proud of”.

He continued, “We are doing well. The State recorded the highest number of JAMB applicants. Investors are willing to come. And what we are doing now might hurt some people, but they should all know we meant well. We only need the understanding and cooperation of Imo people”.

SICKNESS.

A governor afflicted with the Obsession of becoming president of Nigeria;

thus the governor became more obsessed with the idea that he can only be noticed if he narrows whatever infrastructure from his government to only the state capital, Owerri; even though the rest of Imo state remain in ruins.

Who is applauding? No body, except a tiny minority of Imo state in Owerri.

Society in Imo state and Nigeria get wiser by the day.

More from the tunnel. The femerit is that it's too low for heavy duty trucks to ply but high enough for SUVs.

Anybody who is still talking of States or Nigeria is very deeply asleep..

As we speak more people are working to pull down Nigeria than those who think they are building anything..
You cant build something on nothing..
Nigeria is a fraud..

In all its ramifications, branches, tiers and parameters..

The entire region needs an urgent massive reorganisation of all the human affairs and dynamics..

I say all economic, political and industrial operations must stop until fundamental questions are answered..

We can't all live (or die) under decree..

Populations create, design, constitute, regulate and approve countries and their governmental institutions..
If at all they need countries..

It is not the job of self employed soldiers and sailors to do that..

Nigeria is entirely a relic criminal enterprise from Berlin Conference..
Since that time until now every window of communication between the self appointed rulers and the populations have been shut completely..

Building stability in the form of a stable civilisation is a grassroot endeavour..
It ought to be like stacking tables onto eachother in a structural manner..

The Nigerian civilisation instead resembles a case of a giant hostage situation in which a UFO suddenly appeared out of nowhere and started hovering over the land above the clouds and every once in a while it abducts select kinds of individuals to do their biddings..
Accountable to nobody but the aliens in the UFO..

It's a dysfunctional model that is destined to fail..

Before anybody talks of connecting pipelines anywhere many questions must be answered..
Including those who are lining themselves up to start extracting coal..

Tomorrow you will see Fulani people wearing purple caps and shouting on tv that the coal in Enugu belongs to Jigawa..

Just like the custom duty and income tax from sale of alcohol in the South belongs to Katsina despite the fact that you would be killed on sight if spotted with alcohol in that same Katsina..

Anybody who is happy with an unholy arrangement such as Nigeria must be mentally disadvantaged..

One from the south cannot even live in the Northern Sharia areas whereas those from the Northern Sharia areas can be president, senator, governor, army, chief judge, party chairman, secretary, minister or whatever anywhere on the map..

Allocating land and resources and contracts and positions to themselves anyhow they like..
The latest one called grazing bill..

And we are watching..

Any slightest thing they tell you that Igbo people are in Kano selling recharge cards and pop corn so we shouldn't make noise or they will make them pay..

What a beautiful arrangement..
Sounds pretty fair doesn't it??

Look at how much sleep Ali Modu Sheriff from Maiduguri is losing over the Edo elections..
Look at how fiercely he fought in Port Harcourt..

Like an absolute king of the land..

I challenge anybody from the southern areas to go and make so much noise in Gombe and see if he can come back with both legs..

Tomorrow they will tell us to hold "our governors" accountable..

As if we hired them..
As if we even created or regulated their office..
As if we created the states they claim to govern..
As if we created the police that guards them 24/7..
As if we gave them immunity..

I've never seen anyone defend anybody as fiercely as Buhari is defending Amaechi..

They think it's a perfect scam but it's the most obvious of scams..

As we are watching this other one that calls himself Okorocha build schools in Kano and Bauchi and fly up and down on his private jet we just scratch our heads..

Is he corrupt or is he not corrupt??
Mhmmm..
Let me guess..

It's no secret that these two sponsored the Buhari camping..
Using money of so called states that didn't even vote for Buhari..

Could this be the fantastic corruption that Cameron was referring to??
Or is this specific governor not corrupt??

But why bother??
Let's just continue to sleep..

Afterall the government loves us and Nigeria is heading in a beautiful direction..

Right??

Wrong..

@Obiobi8 : The Nigerian issue defies every rational or logical reasoning.

I am yet to see such a group who know they are headed for perpetual slavery and lifelong misery, yet are not eager to do anything about it...such as the people called Nigerians.
Everyone of us know our system is not working, AND CAN NEVER WORK! Except there is absolute overhaul of the present system of government we practice. No matter the good intention of any regime in power, whatever progress we record at present is a mere drop in the ocean compared with what would have been obtainable if the competitive spirit of every region is unleashed and they in turn, contribute their quota.

Everyone keeps waiting for monthly allocation which, thank God, is now becoming elusive. Many so called states which ought to be independent entities are just mere parasites on the resources of a few struggling ones.

All Igbo towns have concentration of 3 to 6 storey buildings and that is why it's called Igbotic buildings. Gradually they are improving on the designs but still not uhuru.

Abakaliki though smaller is finer and more livable than Owerri by miles.
