Gud day everyone here. My story so far. I applied for admission at university of applied sciences, kiel for information engineering last summer but I was denied visa cos my bank did not fund my block account on time. I av the admission again but but due to increase in euro the money am having is not enough to fund d account. Please if am favoured by u to help me complement d remaining or help with any amount, I ll b happy. Pls help a broda. My mail is theofad007@yahoo.com. Thanks
You do realize everyone here, one way or the other, is effected by the increase in naira equivalent for blocked account funding?

So, I don't think this is the right place to 'look for money'. Everybody eye de red.

Thank you.

Finally, Someone going to Kassel.

I got admission into two programs of Uni Kassel. A Joint European Msc and another Joint program with Uni Göttingen. I chose the first sha. I'm spending the first semester abroad but I'll definitely be in Kassel, Fulda or Witzenhausen by the second semester.

What course are you going for?

I applied for Msc Sustainable International Agriculture, Uni Göttingen & Uni Kassel but I haven't received any mail from them regarding admission. Please when did you get the admission letter from Uni Kassel?

They started sending from Last Friday I think. I got mine that day after getting the "admission may take longer" email. Though I still think they are still sending so expect a mail soon.

It came too late though despite that it was my first choice. I hope you received that mail too? If not, better mail Prof Schlecht or Thinggard

International students in Canada can work all year without needing an extra work permit. They changed the rule as of June 2014.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/work-offcampus.asp

Can work 20hrs/week during school session and full-time on holidays. So I think Canada is just as good when it comes to working while a student.

In my opinion, it depends on what you want.
Study wise, Germany have arguably the best package for international students, great schools, ridiculously cheap transportation and housing arrangements for students, wonderful health insurance package (if you are under 30), by far better work/study permit than Canada.
However, the only advantage Canada will have over Germany is the non language barrier. Nothing else.
If you can deal with that and the challenges that it comes with then you are good to go.

If you have the cash and won't mind the great limitations Canada places on international students to work while studying and probably are sure of getting that amount every year from home without hassles then Canada will be easier for integration purposes because of the language. But your Canadian course though, Rural Dev. embarassed how you take find am?
Canada and Germany's post study stay incentives are fairly at par.
You see I didn't mention Luxembourg. That's a business country, quite rich and expensive. I don't know anything about their package for international student, so I can't comment knowledgeably.

Oh great!! I didn't know they have changed their off campus rules. In that case, their work permit is just as par with Germany and given the fact that there is no language barrier, once stands a better chance of getting better and less laborious work. Am I right?
Is it possible for one to also fund ones school fees, feeding, housing and other expenses solely from the money made working?

I will like to get your inputs..

This is the letter of acceptance from TU Berlin for Msc Geodesy and Geoinformation Science and i've also been accepted by Leibniz Universitat Hannover for Msc Geodesy and Geoinformatics. I'm presently in a fix over which one to choose. The berlin course is a non-restricted admission but the part stating the prerequisites and the matter of not expecting a successful completion bothers me because i only have knowledge in only 2 aspects (GIS and Informatics). Leibniz also has the same conditions but stated that there will be provisions to make up for such aspects. I've read about both cities and i would prefer Berlin but i don't want to put myself in a situation where i will be frustrated with my studies.

Secondly, can i open the blocked account and go for the interview with different admission letters? This is because I'm still awaiting the official letter from Leibniz and i heard the processing for Berlin is longer. So i'm planning to use the letter form tu berlin for blocked account and use Leibniz for visa interview.

The anti bot spam hid my post earlier but it is open now. Please I need as much help as I can get. The deadline for my enrolment is October 1
