bellong: Thanks a lot. I thought as much, your reply eased my doubts, at least from a logical perspective. One more thing please, In my resume and reference letter, im claiming point for NYSC work experience, have you any idea if DIBP or vetassess has reservations for NYSC experience? Thanks |
Re: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by bellong: 6:57am On Jun 29, 2016 |
beautysky: Yes you can if you can provide reference for it and evidence of salary paid. You need not call it NYSC. |

Greetings House. Please through what means does the Case Officer contact the applicant? Is it via email or phone number? I am onshore and had a missed call from a number I don't recognise. True calling back but it would never go through. |

Hello House, Please I am trying to gather the documents required for assessment with Engineers Australia. I came across this in the booklet under documents for relevant skilled employment assessment "Documents issued by the related government agency or any other organization not related to your employer, such as tax report, .....". The thing is, for the first company I worked for, I don't have any of the documents listed. No tax report, no pension/retirements contribution. What can I do please? Thanx |

@Funkyjo, If you have bank statement that shows paid salary, you can present it. @Shotuns, What do you need the agent for and what's their price? |
Re: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by bellong: 5:48pm On Jun 30, 2016 |
^^^^^ The price listed is their service charge excluding visa fee and other associated cost. |

bellong: Hi. Thanks for your good work here. Please I need your advice, I have worked in my husband's business firm for over 10 years but I receive my salary in cash. We operate a joint account and I usually just withdraw an agreed amount from the company account when salaries are to be paid. I work as a graphic artist in our branding/printing firm. I also double as my husband's assistant. How do I show my evidence of salary? |

AyaSunday: Payslip and tax documents verrady: You will have to rewrite your English test as the 6.5 score spoilt the result for you. Going by the account of those who assessed previously, with IPA I guess, you don't need ICAN to get a positive assessment. 1 Like |

Re: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by bellong: 8:32pm On Jul 01, 2016 |
verrady: What's difficult in an English test? You shouldn't be scared. No other way I know of as it is a strict requirement of the assessing authority. |

Re: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by catchdwind4rmkd(m): 10:26pm On Jul 01, 2016 |
verrady: An option is to apply for remarking, but that's only possible if you've just gotten your IELTS result. You'll have to pay N15,000 to British Council, then wait for 6 weeks for them to review ur result and upgrade where necessary. It's a probability that the outcome will favour you. But I've read favourable posts on the subject where applicants gain 0.5 to 1.5 points after remarking. So, if you're looking for an alternative to repeating the test, then I've just presented one to you. |

catchdwind4rmkd:Interesting... Pls how do I go abt it as I just wrote the exam April 30th. |
Re: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by catchdwind4rmkd(m): 12:40am On Jul 02, 2016 |
verrady: Check out the Australia Student Forum on Nairaland, you'll find that information. Or research it on Google and British Council website for IELTS. However, I understand you'll need to raise another bank draft of N15,000 as with when you registered for the test. Then, write an application for remark. Pls get further info on this coz 30th April seems far (over 2 months after). |

This thread is really something else... well, I just saw this thread and have gone through every single page...took a while, but i finally found some talk about the 476 visa...I already hold this visa, and I plan on going to oz to try my luck by november. after reading all the gist from my fellow 476 guys and the boss that is malkinburg, i have now resolved to start the PR process in nigeria even before i leave, so that e bad as e bad, my PR will be awarded soon after I land in oz by God's grace, assuming i have not found an engineering/any-other-job role by then. I just want to know one thing pls (apologies if it has already been answered): is it possible for the CDR to be assessed unfavourably? also, I finished with a bsc in chemical engineering, and a masters in advanced chemical engineering from University of Manchester, UK, and i have 3 years work experience if i include IT. should i try for more points with a skills assessment or should i bone and just go with my current projected 65 points? I will appreciate all comments relating to this. thanks, everyone... |
