My elder brother is 31yrs old, just got married to an igbo girl and they both resides in United states.

Before he got married, he usually sends N135,000 when converted to Naira to mom and dad every end of the month.
But after he got married 6 months ago, he stopped sending money to folks at the end of every month.
He now sends money whenever he likes.

Not like my folks needed the money that much.. But you know, it's the dream of every parents to eat from their children sweat right?

From the way the wife responded to phone conversation shows she's the one responsible for this strange behaviour of my dear brother.

So what joy do Nigerian ladies gain in tryna tore families apart?

This is one of the reasons I adviced him not to marry a Nigerian woman because of their selfish nature.

A white woman won't do these.

Once married your responsibilities doubles. Have you paused to ponder about the fact that he's got more responsibility now and could be saving in preparation for kids?

Not all nig women do dat. How do u no is your sis in law dat was responsible for ur broda's in ability to send money home? Av u askd ur broda why? Whn u broda was stil single with little responsibility, he was able to send money home but now married with more responsibilities, d money can't be comn as usual depending on d situation of tns with him. Dnt just conclude t s d handwork of ur sister in law. If at all she was responsible 4 dat, it means ur broda don enta one chance o. Keep talkn to ur broda on dat, and let him no ur parents reaction towards his changed attitudes.

op find out if the money is being diverted to her people. . I understand what you meant, his sending money means he cares about you and your parents, and parents like to brag about their children sending money or the likes of it.

this is bullshit. stop with the assumptions, step up and ask UR brother what's wrong. and I think he needs another man in the family to support him in taking care of your parents,so step up. he is a family man now,am sure he has other mouth to feed also, bills to pay so things can't be d same ok?

okay..

But after he got married 6 months ago, he stopped sending money to folks at the end of every month.
He now sends money whenever he likes.

Does he send the money for them to invest or eat and suffer in luxury? He pays them salary?

Not like my folks needed the money that much.. But you know, it's the dream of every parents to eat from their children sweat right?

Lol.. What kind of parents don't create a self-sustainable Life for themselves?? How did they ever manage to bring up children? That's mismanagement.. No offence to your folks..

From the way the wife responded to phone conversation shows she's the one responsible for this strange behaviour of my dear brother.

Once a man gets married, his wife and children become his family.. Every other person is an appendage the man will chose to help.. For whatever reason, he owes no earthly obligation unless his conscience or need requires him to..

Who knows if things are difficult for them over there??

So what joy do Nigerian ladies gain in tryna tore families apart?

Only wicked demons derive Joy in doing that.. So far.. There's nothing you've written that says his wife is trying to tear YOUR family apart.. Because she definitely isn't trying to tear hers apart.

This is one of the reasons I adviced him not to marry a Nigerian woman because of their selfish nature.

Lol.. I wonder what "selfish" nature you're talking/typing about.. And to think you would generalise is just so sad, when you completely know our minds don't work like the inter-connected internet.. We all think and act different..

A white woman won't do these.

Lol.. Really?? If you have personal issues, failed relationships, and what not with particular Nigerian. Women... Go and sort it out..
