If for some reason the Heat lose Wade, that would be a catastrophic mistake which would stigmatize the franchise. As much as i believe in Whiteside, i don't think he should be prioritized over Wade.

Wade in his 13 years with the Heats has been exemplary, he has taken several pay cuts to accommodate the needs of the team, remember when the Heats built the Big 3 with Lebron and Bosh and how much pay cut Wade sacrificed? and what does he get for being considerate?

Whiteside for all his defensive prowess is a liability offensively, if the Heat are keeping Bosh (depending on his health) then this deal may be detrimental to their style of play because Bosh and Whiteside need space to play well and last season when they played together, Whiteside's game suffered and proved they can not play together at the same time.

Even though i hope Wade stays, the Heat don't have the cap space thus, If he decides to leave the Heat to get paid, i would bare no grudge against him, everyone is getting paid, he deserves more.

It sure is going to backfire. I wonder how much they are paying marc gasol? Around the 20 million mark maybe? Conley has not even made an impact in the league for two years now because of injuries, and parsons, well parsons is just parsons. Plays very well when his team is going to lose, and also only one playoffs game in two years, can not stay healthy.

This in my opinion boils down to health. I feel like we have seen this before, The nets? The lakers? 82 games and will they still be fresh enough for the playoffs? Sure they can make the playoffs, but will they even be healthy enough for the playoffs?

Unlike barnes, teams would double team him in the playoffs creating more space for curry and klay. can slow the tempo of the game for the warriors giving kerr to draw multiple plays. Its a win situation for the warriors, and if they can keep barnes, if he agrees to sign a 17-18 million dollar deal, its a win-win situation for GSW. You never know maybe barnes would get better or will not develop anymore, but just incase he develops better, you don't want to lose out, but if he does not, you are not losing out on a lot if you pay him 17-18 a year.

if you asked me for a claim I would have told you point blank that I made an assumption, being that we are talking about two currencies and I was taking into consideration the exchange rate and how exposed each league was.

Dirk on the Warriors won't be taking too much above what we might be giving Barnes.. The problem is this is Barnes' 3rd year, 2nd was already made a starter cos we needed Andre for the bench, played poorly during the season but was still trusted with his poor performance and when it came to money declined $64M/4yrs and went ahead to "sabotage" during the finals. Though not intentional. I still freshly remembered when he decided to shoot a fade away 3 when Curry was wide open with 4 secs left. .. He needs to rest his head and think IMO and he'll get better. He has great potential especially being on the GSW he should appreciate it and put his head and heart into it and not get blinded by money and big deals. He isn't leaving cos i don't see KD in the Gold Jersey.. He wants Max and with the way the FA has been going, this guy won't want anything less that $20M/yrs thats why i'm angry we didn't go after Batum..
