Lere Olayinka is the most dumb and illiterate spokesman or aid I have ever seen, before you come out in public to disgrace yourself and Fayose so that wailers and IPOB tout will hail you consult your dictionary if you don't know what middle school means. Ok Lere here is the meaning of Middle school (A middle school is a school for students older than elementary school but not yet in high school or secondary school as the case maybe) This Lere Olayinka of a guy likes goofing same wrong calculation he made about when PMB married Aisha and the wailers without cross checking started praising him and abusing PMB not knowing that Lere's elementary school is questionable for not getting simple arithmetics of subtract, multiply and addition of primary school. May my enemies keep making these kind of Lere's mistake in Jesus name.
You must be kidding if you believe 10 years is older than elementary school in early 60s. Even in 80s 10 years was not older. Can you tell us the average age of elementary school in 80s. Forget 60s for now

Early life

Muhammadu Buhari was born on 17 December 1942, in Daura, Katsina State, to his father Adamu and mother Zulaihat. He is the twenty-third child of his father. Buhari was raised by his mother, after his father died when he was about four years old.[10]

He attended primary school in Daura and Mai'adua before proceeding to Katsina Model School in 1953, and to Katsina Provincial Secondary School (now Government College Katsina) from 1956 to 1961. (Excerpt from the President's Wiki Page)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muhammadu_Buhari#Early_life

If the President "proceeded" to Katsina model school in 1953, it would mean he got into Katsina Model School in 1953 and not graduated.

Also if the President was born in 1942 and got into secondary school in 1953, it would mean he got into secondary school at 11 and not 10 as that dunce called Lere Olayinka calculated.

I got into secondary school at 10. In JSS 1, I was not the oldest but I was also not the youngest.

I really don't get what all the fuss is about seriously.

Does the Nigerian education system recognize the term "middle school"?

[size=13pt]I think while it is possible Fayose's aide goofed, the photo and meet seems to have been designed to indirectly affirm that he did attend secondary school with these classmates of his. However while most people do not allege that these were not his classmates, taking this picture is zero proof that he walked into the exam hall (in 1953 or whenever) and sat for that exam with them.

And this is what Nigerians feel convinced about - that he does not have any WAEC certificate for the simple reason that he did not sit for that examination.

It is presently believed that he got into the military on that recommendation letter that was found in his military file, from his principal. And while his principal wrote in that recommendation letter that he considered that Buhari would pass his WAEC with credits in Maths, English and three other subjects, upon being promoted in the army, Buhari did not have the humility to go back and sit for the exam (with people who were his juniors )

England Edit
In England, local education authorities introduced middle schools in the 1960s and 1970s. The notion of Middle Schools was mooted by the Plowden Report of 1967 which proposed a change to a three-tier model including First schools for children aged between 4 and 7, Middle Schools for 7–11 year-olds, and then upper or high schools for 11–16 year-olds.[18] Some authorities introduced Middle Schools for ideological reasons, in line with the report, while others did so for more pragmatic reasons relating to the raising of the school leaving age in compulsory education to 16, or to introduce a comprehensive system.[19][20]

Different authorities introduced different age-range schools, although in the main, three models were used:

4–6 First schools, followed by 7–11 middle schools, as suggested by Plowden
5–9 First schools, followed by 9–13 middle schools
5–10 First schools followed by 10–13 middle schools, or intermediate schools
In many areas primary school rather than first school was used to denote the first tier.

In addition, some schools were provided as combined schools catering for pupils in the 5–12 age range as a combined first and middle school.[19]

Around 2000 middle and combined schools were in place in the early 1980s. However, that number began to fall in the later 1980s with the introduction of the National Curriculum. The new curriculum's splits in Key Stages at age 11 encouraged the majority of local education authorities to return to a two-tier system of Primary (sometimes split into Infant schools and Junior schools) and Secondary schools.[21] There are now fewer than 150 middle schools still operational in the United Kingdom, meaning that approximately 90% of middle schools have closed or reverted to primary school status since 1980. The system of 8-12 middle schools has fallen into complete disuse.[22]

Under current legislation, all middle schools must be deemed either primary or secondary. Thus, schools which have more primary year groups than KS3 or KS4 are termed deemed primaries or middles-deemed-primaries, while those with more secondary-aged pupils, or with pupils in Y11 are termed deemed secondaries or middles-deemed-secondaries. For statistical purposes, such schools are often included under primary and secondary categories "as deemed".[23] Notably, most schools also follow teaching patterns in line with their deemed status, with most deemed-primary schools offering a primary-style curriculum taught by one class teacher, and most deemed-secondary schools adopting a more specialist-centred approach. Legally all-through schools are also considered middle schools (deemed secondary), although they are rarely referred to as such.

Some middle schools still exist in various areas of England. They are supported by the National Middle Schools' Forum. A list of middle schools in England is available.

Professor Genius, thanks for the clarification.

However, I didn't know there is a school between Primary and secondary school in Nigeria.

Or maybe there was, can you throw more light to it rather than abusing Fayose and his aid.

so you know you could have sent me a mail, yet you mention me unnecessarily here and speak cryptic, then accuse me of being a liar as if I am a mind reader in my spare time.

Look, say whatever you want to say here, I don't have time for your rubbish and whatever you are trying to insinuate by playing these silly childish games.

If it's the free copy of the book that you are still on about, how many times will i tell you it isn't complete yet and even if it's complete, I'm not sending you any more free stuff. Not with this your annoying attitude of mentioning me up and down and subtly insulting me.

Just because I joke and play with people doesn't make me your bloody mate. So say what you want openly and on my thread, abi you don't know where the thread is again?

Dont bother sending me emails anymore sef,i won't reply. Say what you want to say on my thread, mention me anywhere else and I will ignore.

My friend, events occur so that we shall learn.
Plz go and get your primary school leaving certificate...it is more important than your MSc. It is so important in civil service that in some screening exercise they ask only for FSLC, it is most often used to predict your real age.
The ministry has a record "often than not, certificates are not replaceable" but in this case Ministries do grant it, if proven that you took the exams.
Thanks
