Hello house, please my wife last expired US visa was stamped cancel without prejudice during her last interview which she was refused renewal, And now she wants to fill her new application form and saw where they asked if your past visa has ever been cancelled and the reason why it was cancelled. Pls what will she fill there? Is it Yes or No?
Remember that it was stamped cancelled without prejudice when the visa has already expired. Thanks in anticipation.

I didnt know if you traveling within the US on united, you have to pay for ur luggage

1st bag $25
2nd bag $35

its time travellers here share one or two tips or tricks they experience and how they resolved it. Am sure i could learn from others since traveling is an experience on its own

I circumvent by flying southwest within the US. You can check 2 bags free.
Though it also depends on where you're going.
You will need to go to their website.

She was particular about the 'under insured' bit of the statement. Cos I remember her asking if I had insurance and I said no im self pay.
Now this is actually the only correspondence I have that says under insured..all my other correspondence from Texas and Chicago says its discounted cos its self pay. Does it mean that using the self pay option is accessing tax payers money?
There's self pay and under insured... Government usually subsidise the fees.
As a matter of fact the hospital we use are cheap Hospitals that's why we r getting the rates we r getting. Stick with discounted fee for self or cash paying patients.

Lemme not be the spoiler, but do mothers still go that far to El-paso anymore.
or u have any specific reasons for wanting to go there?
if you say cheap, i wonder how much you have in mind. if you give an estimated budget here of what u want to spend on medical and housing, am sure some mothers here can help you find a reasonable hospital and/or accommodation. Some ppl can share a 2 bedroom and u split the bill equally.

El Paso, offers a lot of additional value added details that make you same money. All the info is on the website but the additional help you get with transportation, ETC, SIM cards, items you can rent while there for your baby so you dont have to buy and then ship back home, Denise available by phone anytime and staff by email, accepts FORM A, response time, etc. Is while there is always people at El Paso when you arrive. Being on the border to Mexico helped the services get specialized for international patients.

No. Self pay does not always mean accessing tax payers money. Not at all. I called my hospital just for the fun of it to know how much their self pay is just two days ago. Theirs is not using taxpayers money because they are not affiliated to the government in any way. They are private. But some of these medical or county hospital are being subsidized by the government. A lot of them. That's why they're usually for the people who have no insurance (some people don't make enough money to buy insurance) and the underinsured(some people do have insurance, but the insurance is so crappy that it barely covers anything).

It happened to me also. Got visa with family for vacation even though I was preggie and I know say Na for child birth. Got on this thread and saw the gbeghe it can cause. Reading from here and on advice from some good people, we all travelled in February to Florida to use the visa for tourism. Sent a notification letter in May and travelled in June for birth. Got to SFO POE and see 3 hrs delay. They insisted I knew was preggie when I got visa. I deny oh. They said u came in February to scout for hospital and why didn't I write the embassy to notify and why wait till may. I say we still de look am as dollar is not anybody friend but when we were sure dollar was our friend, we decided to plan and consequently, I wrote and say work wahala, stress etc plus dollar wahala.

The officer enter my correspondence say the amount I'm paying is too cheap. Say his wife de pay thousands for childbirth. I don tire sef as Na emirate flight I use. We de argue back and forth. DH wasn't with me as I had to reschedule my flight earlier to leave on time. He wrote a letter which he attached his data page and visa page. I was loaded with documents which I showed the mumu officer. I was confident also.

I don type this post twice but after sending, it would give me error msg. Just wise no de gree post my comments so if this one disappear, that's the end.

Officer said he would write it in my profile that I must show receipt on my next entry. I said ok. Thou he was insisting I must pay about 30k like his wife and not use medic aid etc. I told him the koko should be that no matter how much I pay, I didn't use medic aid in paying any part and not how much I paid cause the bobo advised me to go back instead of being banned from the US for not paying my bills. I told him I can pay the bills and I think he should be concerned with me paying my bills no matter the amount and not using medic aid to do so than him saying I must pay 30k like his wife. He went to speak to his boss and after stamped me in. I was delayed for about 3hrs plus or more though he told me to always send a change of intent if I find out that my condition has changed even after renewal weather I intend to use for birthing or not. I say I don hear

)the quality we seek over there is present as well in naija plus even over there sometimes unless u go to d big stores, d quality can also b very light. Eg babies r us, dillards, macys compared to ross, walmart, burlington.

firsttymum:

But she'll be emotionally traumatized. If she's turned back? And guess what? Waste of money
If he can afford her flight and a short vacation it's totally worth it. Change of intent is a letter u send to d embassy and u get a generic response but u show to the cbp.. At his discretion can do and undo now the emotional trauma they might put her through is what I call stressful.

It's practically a clear case of misrepresentation... Those people don't hear "is not like that sir" or "lemme esplain sir" or "pity her condition sir"

Omoba88 if u can afford it, do the safest and surest thing. Let her go for a short vacation. Some locations have extremely cheap tickets right now.
It's different if she wasn't pregnant at d time of interview (that one dey still even send people back).
