Thanks alot for your feedback, do you have any leads you can share in Inglewood?

Bisoye82:

You are absolutely right.Bro in law actually pulled my ears not to rent an apartment in Lynwood no matter how cheap.the place I stayed in Inglewood, he had to check with his friends and make findings online as well(in terms of security & neighbourhood).

Hi Sweetuzy01, thanks alot. I won't dare smiley Pls would you kindly share Mr. Fred's contact? I will try to pm you, hope I succeed.

Sweetuzy01:
I didn't stay around Lynwood but I was also informed it's a gangster area. Mr. Fred into estate told me he would never get the place for anyone even if the person requests. It's black dominated and not safe. There is a park behind St. Francis and I observed while there with my daughter that loads of black stay in that area.

U can get somewhere else or stay there and be safe and careful.
{quote author=Zaidi post=47345640]Dear house, i'm new here wrt posting other than a few questions that have gone unanswered wink. I would like to sincerely thank everyone who has kept this thread going. I have been reading for a while now and have learnt alot. God bless you!

I decided to give birth at St Francis in Lynwood but when we shared this with a friend, he warned us that this is gang territory and not safe and that we should stay away from there. I would like to ask anyone familiar with the area to shed some light on this especially the mummies who have given birth there. Pls Sweetuzy01, OMary83, MamaTobenna, Bisoye82 and sppecie what was your experience like? Did you stay near the hospital? Thanks

Babes,

From my little knowledge of Food Science, fruits and yorghurt have acids and may still contribute to the heartburn.

jinglesbaby:
Dnt you get heart burn? I eat cut and diced fruits, salad, yoghurt and porridge. Generally, things that lack pepper and oil. Despite that, I always have my prescription for heart burn on me.
When I read of how some pple carry smoked fish et all, I could not imagine it.

I have used Ethiopian airline to dubai! The flight frm lag to addis was fantastic! Spacious, with great in flight entertainment. Only the connecting one to dubai dat was a small aircraft, maybe cos it was a short distance

Not all fruits... It's mostly the citrus fruits.
And then yogurt shocked shocked Has acid....?
Yoghurt is very good for ulcer. It's a probiotic.

I used Northside. I didn't know I'd be staying in Snellville until I arrived here so it was too late to use EastSide. Even though now I'm wondering why I had thought Gwinett would cost way more than Northside.
phummy2:

Thanks and amen @Passionantchica. Are you also using the same hospital or Gwinnett? Hope you are doing good.

Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 4 by jinglesbaby: 5:58pm On Jul 11, 2016
Yes, I agree with you on that. I generally pick the very ripe ones off the shelf cos the fruit bowls are transparent anyway and you can see how ripe the fruits are. If they are not ripe, you can store them for longer. I'm not sure yoghurt have acids that are same as those that cause heart burns. At least, the yoghurt I'm taking no be farmfresh or "made in naija" so it's very sweet dear and you cannot taste the lactic acid or whatever that sharp taste in naija yoghurt is.

Ethiopian is quite comfortble. But if u r using it to the us, the journey no be here. If its to LA, ur itinerary will be lag-add-dub(dublin)-lax. If its to newyork, lag-add-lfw(lome)- ewr. It would have been better if she booked lome to new york straight sha

In my opinion, the bolded could have gone better.
The purpose of trip .... You have had 2 kids previously without any issue and now you wanna birth in the US just because your brother in law suggested it. Thts not compelling enough.
Then the ties issue...probably the vo does not believe your job can carry the trip.
Have you travelled before?
Are you married ? (sorry I dont assume)

So good to see a thread like this ...sooo helpful. Thanks Justwise for this initiative and thanks to all selfless contributors, wish I joined the thread earlier,I might not have had to be asking this question.
In my ds-160 form,I filled in California where my cousin stays but later discovered that her house would be soo full when I would be travelling if by Gods grace I get the visa. and I also now got hold of my uncle who is in south holland Illinois and he is so excited to have me there ,I have even started communicating with a doctor he linked me to.
Now my question is...I filled in California and have already booked my appointment can't change the info already submitted and now Chicago is the best bet...what do I do? do i comeout plain like my uncle suggests and tell them that although i filled in california ,i prefer chicago or what other options are open to me. I intend telling that am going to have my baby, interview is next week. pls can a kind soul help me out here plssss

Find the black goat in the day time and not with torch at night.
The Plain truth is the only solution. If you do not have enough time to swap the form, then go with your burden of proof for your intended final destination and explain what happened to the vo.
If you have more than 4 days before the interview, fill a new form with the appros details and write to the embassy to swap it

Fill a new ds 160 this night.
Email Consularabuja@state.gov and/or LagosNIV@state.gov . Give them the ds 160 and old one. Tell them to swap the new with the old.
You will be asked to verify identity by sending some details and they l treat it. Usually takes like 2days if all goes well so the earlier you start the berrer
