that place is my village in Edo state. ihovbor community in Benin. the credit for that project should go to jonathan. jonathan is the brain behind that project and he started it.
he was able to complete the first one which is a four unit turbine. infact i was employed to work there for some time before i gained admission in uniben.
could you imagine that they didn't allow itv to enter the premises of the stake holder meeting held in Benin today by fashola concerning power because they thought itv is pdp and they will expose them.
all other media house was allowed.
now because the minister of darkness is around they are pretending to be giving us regular electricity. bedc even went ahead to sponsore a programme on ku fm 92.7 to host a show were people are allowed to call and tesitfy that power has improved.

Power was privatised by PDP govt to companies that have no capacity to generate and distribute....same companies treat Nigerians just as NEPA did.
Why are blaming Fashola? Govt is no longer generating or distributing power but to provide them with enabling environments to function. But are they reciprocating govt and people's gesture?

Angry residents of Benin -met with the Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Mr Babatunde Fashola who paid a working visit to Edo state today as the group of protesters expressed their disappointment on the manner Nigerians are being treated by operators and distributors in the power sector.


The minister was also pictured during the inspection of the Azura-Edo IPP, a 450MW open cycle gas turbine power station and the first phase of a 2,000MW power plant facility near Benin City, in Edo State...
