So, I know.

Vialli is beyond just a bald head player. He was one of the first players I saw carry out a coaching coup on the EPL. Something that is rampant now.

Ruud Gullit was player manager and he was second on the table. Chelsea was playing good Dutch style football before unfairly sacking Gullit and Vialli was made player manager.

If I am correct, the team under Chelsea on the table ended winning the league. I will look that up and I think. Not sure but I think Kanu's famous hat trick against Chelsea was the season Ruud Gullit left.

I am not even looking forward to the Olympics again.

I am somehow hoping against hope that the have a respectable tournament. I am not optimistic.

If they pass the group stage, then based on the quality in the team, it is a good tournament. Hopefully, a few foreign based players will arrive to boost the team.

Personally, I think he is too young to be called up. He's an academy player barely 18. We have a tough assignment in the world cup qualifiers. Its not child's play what we are going to face in Algiers, Yaounde and Lusaka. We should be going with our very best legs who can withstand and deliver under pressure.

Enyeama for me should be drafted back. Dudes like Kayode Olarenwaju for me is ripe for a call up. I don't know why he keeps getting neglected.

I just looked back on the Chelsea Arsenal squad list that Kanu Scored a hat trick against Chelsea.

The squad list on both sides were frightening.

Teams: Chelsea: De Goey, Ferrer, Desailly, Leboeuf, Babayaro, Petrescu, Wise, Deschamps, Le Saux, Sutton, Flo.
Subs: Hogh, Poyet, Morris, Cudicini, Zola.

Arsenal: Seaman, Dixon, Keown, Adams, Silvinho, Parlour, Ljungberg, Petit, Overmars, Kanu, Suker.

Followed them when Oruma used to coach a teenage Samir Nasri on the pitch.

From Celestine's time till date, you can not compare Marseille with Chelsea. I watched Ben Arfa and Benzema grow up in Lyon. Before the Benzema vs Man Utd game that blew Benzema's profile.

Your wiki skills is good but as I said before it does not tell the whole story.

As I said during the Solanke debate, it is good to have someone who has a different perspective. Nice you watched Ruud Gullit at Chelsea. That guy loves Nigeria and really wanted to Coach us but he NFF messed up the deal. I had no doubt the Super Eagles would have excelled under him.

He was also the coach who carried Babayaro to Newcastle when Gullit was the coach of Newcastle. Later.
