i always get admired by people but i would rather they respect me because it lasts longer and has more value. so if u had to only pick one, would u rather be admired or respected?

I prefer admiration.. When sombori is admiring u, they surely respek u...u cannot admire someone if u dnt respek

apparently, ladies will always prefer admiration - they feel like a queen whenever a guy tell them they're beautiful,, it make them go crazy - but for me, a guy it's always "RESPECT"

Admiration and respect,are almost the same except in the context of usage,you admire a smile,cloth,personality ,charm and something new,while u respect ur boss,a colleague decision,orders etc.Did u notice that admiration are more emotional in contextual usage while Respects are used more in logical things..so I admire ur picture and I repect your rights on nairaland.
