Have tried checking on other pages here n can't see a post of anyone receiving a similar msg.my application states open on linked account on CIC website.I did paper route.

may be send them case specific enquiry,.. someone did that on the thread and they reply. i don't know how that works though. you can find out 16 is way over the processing time they need to reply you real quick

Same thing happened to me and I have been kept in the dark since 25th of May

A friend of one applied via paper route but told me he received no email from vfs acknowledging the receipt of his application, but since he was given receipt, he was able to track the app on vfs site, but does this mean if they send him medical mail too, he might not receive it?

Since I got this job I stopped thinking about this visa thing.... Be like na idleness dey make this visa thing bother person. Am even contemplating weda I'll travel if dey finally grant me, cos this job na highest o. Is there a way u could defer the school and visa acceptance for say like a session? By the way my friend that applied for masters in June 8 was sent medical mail yesterday

na unemployement dey cause all the tension o.. na only for Nigeria dem dey fast, prayer , go night vigil for visa because of our situation. and for most this is their only hope, no plan b... nobody with a good payed job will even be checking cic account every 5 mins. in your case it seems the job dey sweet yoi die you no dey too reason CA again. lol..

Hello house. Please I'm new here. I really need your help. I want to apply for masters in Canada. But I have a second class lower. These schools I require a second class upper which is equivalent to 60-69% I have about 63%. I would like to ask for advice on which schools to apply and I wld like to ask if my grade is upper in Canadian equivalent. Thank you very much.

My bro, I no know why u dey want kill urself, you were supposed to receive this message on the same day you submitted your application but due to technical issue and vfs trying to do some maintainance of the site, many did not receive it but since you were given a receipt after the submission of your application, your tracking details were written there so you could track it. No update on your your profile but still the vfs site says "your passport is been processed in our office accra" calm down you will receive update soon, many people are experiencing this as in, a friend of mine and I are experiencing this so calm down, God is in action

Biometrics – August 19, 2015
Application refused and closed on October 19, 2015 based on personal asset and financial status; lack of sufficient funds to pay tuition, upkeep and cost of transportation to and fro Canada

SECOND APPLICATION (MY DAUGHTER AND I) Submitted – May 26, 2016
Biometrics – May 27, 2016
Passport request – July 14, 2016
Passports submitted-July 15, 2016
Approval mail- July 21, 2016 (8 weeks )

This is nothing to worry about here.this your Tracking Number:20160712GHANSTU13893 shows you submitted on the 2016/07/12... And the message has the content of ur application has been processed in our office 12 jul 2016. This is just an acknowledgement mail that would have been sent to you the day u submitted at VFS..so worry not..see you at GBC in sept by his grace

I was in port Harcourt and a police lady told me that police character certificate is 100k, me pick race. I'm going to anambra, I don't know if I can get it in their state CID or must I go to Lagos

Someone dropped a contact sometime ago of a policeman but I can't find it.

Please I need help o, if you have done yours help a brother with a contact.

it's a very unreliable airline,your bags/luggage is prone to theft or damage before you reach canada.

I want to pay WES to send my verification letter via int'l courier ( i.e. DHL) to d polytechnic I attended and ve written them by sending an email tru their help contact link to update my account to enable me do so. My question is dt how long will it take WES to update my account to enable me make payment for them to send the letter via DHL? Also, how soon will they send it & give d tracking no?

I have been a silent reader on this platform and I thank everyone that has shared their experiences on study permit application. Below is my application time line and documents.
Offer from Carleton university 22 April
Online application 3rd May
Biometrics 4th May
Upfront medical
Medical passed 14th July
Original passport request 14th July
Passport pick up 21st July
Documents submitted
All cic documents
University degree, NYSC etc
Various SOA - CAD55K
Detailed SOP
Work related documents- 9years work experience
Travel history- US, Canada, UK, Dubai, Turkey
I want to encourage everyone waiting for TRV that nothing is impossible with God. I applied with my husband and Son; I have visited Canada a couple of times with my son, and I currently hold a visiting visa that expires in 2019. Though My application looked perfect, i didn't remove God from it all because for me study permit is totally different from visiting, I prayed and fasted, I also held on to a word I got from this forum in this part Mark: 11, 23-25.
I didnt pay tution b4 applying, i bought my ticket right after i submitted my app ( I took a step of FAITH) and that has saved me thousands of Nairn. While I applied for a study permit my hubby and son applied for Visiting; but my hubby n son were delayed based on purpose of visit despite the fact that my son has visited Canada with me severally. Someone told me my hubby ought to have applied for Open Work permit, but we have requested for the Gcms note.
Here is to encourage everyone; "For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith."
