For some ladies especially the Sanguine and Choleric and Yorubas would actually want to hear it from you, as in you have to formally ask them out, if possible write an application letter to that effect so they could archive it. I don't know what to term the case the of the second girl as shown in the OP, whether it's shyness or something, I have no idea.

She is the one I really want and I am asking her out, out of respect. However, each time I raise the issue, she would say we will talk about that later in most cases, she would keep quiet.

I was busy professing love, speaking how much I want this girl and want her to be mine BUT all I get was rejection, or indifference.

After while I switch to flirting mode and all seem well with her.

Another girl whom I kinda have a respect for have been acting same way as well. She wouldn't want to admit outrightly or accept when the question is ask. She would prefer I do not even ask her to date me but to just flow along.

Mind you, if I choose this route, I can easily bolt out--after all, "we were not dating" or "I never asked you out"

OP you are right. Wooing is a waste of time. Ladies don't take guy serious. There was this lady, I wooed her, she declined. Later on I started visiting her, she became comfortable with me, I stopped telling her my intentions. When it came to a stage we started kissing if not for the fear of God, I would have bleeped her.
