I went to d hospital n a scan was ordered to check if d amniotic fluid is still adequate wch was found to be okay. Dr said its a sign of preterm labor n if same happens again I shud go str8 to d Hospital immediately.
My EDD has also changed frm Sept to Aug due to big baby.
How can I reduce I n baby's weight.

Sugarcanebaby, it is well o. sometimes i feel that way o. maybe its the pregnancy hormones lyk our mama just said. I believe after delivery, ur scores will be settled. Last nyt i was so angry with dh, i almost slept in our spare room but mosquito pursue me and i didn't want the stress of fixing d mosquito net. The guy tire me sef. He doesn't want to kpekus even wen im in need, he doesn't hold me in bed even wen im cold, wen the nyt itch starts, he will just rub the ointment on my body and be watching me lyk television, sometimes i feel lyk slapping him. no hugs or kisses except i nag about it. he has stopped all emotional things but buys me anything i need, does the laundry, cooking, cleanup and every other thing. I know i hurt him last nyt cos of my outburst, i told him he is of no use to me. I regret saying that though. so my dear be patient with him, not all men understands wat u are going through.

Kekekekekekek! I will make sure to break d fast in ur house lol! Even 5hrs fast dey hard me now and am a bit skeptical about d lipton (heard it shrinks baby weight, brain n also shifts EDD due to smallness of baby).

Faari you are right about that! Don't mind me, I was prescribed the extra folic 5mg in addition to the 400mcg of pregnacare due to my weight and to prevent miscarriage and I was also at risks of having a baby with NTDs. Totally forgot that individual cases do differ and that pregnatone already contains the normal 400mcg for regular women.

Onyxgem10 don't wait go back asap! and have them check the site thoroughly! If there's an oozing or odour! Let a swab be taken for lab analysis! The fever you feel is a symptom of an infection, and could be fatal if not treated asap! God forbid it for you Na so my own start.

There's no oozing or odour jus d pain nd occasional fever.
My problem nw is dat l dnt knw d procedure wit govt hospitals d consultant assigned to me dnt tink he coms everyday only Tuesdays nd Fridays nd l dnt hav his no.

You need to take things easy over the next few weeks. If possible, strict bed rest.

Stay off sex or anything that can result in orgasm. Anything that can induce labour/contractions please avoid.

I do not think there's anything major can be done regarding your baby's size apart from cutting down on carbohydrates. Go for meals made using potatoes, plantain and not "complex carbs" like eba, etc.

I also think you should go for weekly scans/checkup with your doctor. If possible, twice a week. There are barely 5 weeks left to the end of August, so you need constant monitoring.

Pay close attention to your baby's movements. If you think his movements are reduced, please go to the hospital ASAP.

So sorry about this teamie. Let me ask you a few questions:
How soon did you try sitting up after the op?
What meals did you start eating after the op?
The drugs given to you after the op, were you taking them regularly? What do they contain?
Do you allow water to touch the incision site while bathing?
Do you clean with cotton wool and spirit daily?
Is your stitch absorbable?

Despite all of this, you need to get to your hospital asap and insist on getting checked. Follow @liftedhand advice. She had similar experience.

My Epistle
I cant read bac d pages l missed r too much to all ma teamies dat hav put to bed congrats.
Since l delivered l havnt logged on cos it's bin hell. Afta ma op l wore disposable pants wits pad buh l noticed my privates bcom sore nd it hots making it uncomfortably to walk I'm on d slim side so l cant use pad witout pants it would fall since l was still on admission l used d pad witout pants nd remained in bed. On Wednesday l noticed dat d wound was bleeding l complained to a nursed she looked at me as if l didn't knw wot l was talking abt wen d matron cam round l complained to her as well she removed d plaster there was blood buh she said she didnt knw wot caused it so she jus redressed d wound. On thursday ma docs cam round removed d plaster nd said l was ready to b discharged. I asked if l can take my bathe dey said l can. All dis while I've still bin unable to wear pants my privates hurt somtims l soak a small towel nd place it at d junctures of ma thighs. Meanwhile all d ppl l was op wit on d same day evn afta me r walking properly witout pains nd dey wear pants. Wen l complained abt d pains d doc said l jus did an op dat it wld stop so l wnt home. @hom it was a challenge to attend to visitors lochia was flowing nd l cant wear pants it was a challenge buh l managed. I was dressing my wound as directed by ma doc buh d areas around d incision site was swelling nd vry painful ma legs were swelling thou it didn't swell while l was preggy it swelled to d xtent of entering into ma toes evn thou l was always raising it up. I had to google my symptoms nd l found out dat thou it wasn't common buh it happens to few its called postpartum edema. Dat was wen ma mind came down a little cos l was scared somtin might have gone wrng during d op.
D swelling of d legs has eased, l asked dh to massage it for me, he massaged frm foot to knee immediately afta l started urinating more frequently under 24hrs d swelling eased.
Buh d swelling along d incision site has refused to go down nd d pain is frm hell it gets worse on a daily basis to d xtent dat somtyms it givs me fever.
I took panadol xtra today d pain subsided for like 15-20mins den cam bac dats d xtent of d pain I'm in. I was waiting for my two wks app(nxt wk friday) to go to d hospital buh at dis rate l dnt tink l can wait anymore.
Pls mamas dat has undergone cs has anyone xperiencd dis pls share.

I HAD MY BABY VIA CS AND I HAD UNEXPLAINED SWELLING ABOUT 2 WEEKS AFTER I GAVE BIRTH.

THE INCISION SITE HEALED WELL AND THE STICH WAS REMOVED AFTER DAY 3.

HOWEVER THE PULMONARY EDEMA KEPT ME IN CRITICAL CARE UNIT FOR ALMOST A WEEK. YOU CAN READ MY BIRTH STORY LAST YEAR TO GET THE FULL GIST.

I WAS ALSO DOING THE SAME THING - PANADOL, HOT MASSAGE TO REDUCE THE SWELLING IN MY BODY, COUGH SYRUP (APPARENTLY MY LUNGS WERE FILLED WITH WATER), ETC NOT KNOWING MY HEALTH WAS IN A VERY CRITICAL STAGE.

I WENT TO THE HOSPITAL THINKING ALL I NEEDED WAS A PRESCRIPTION FOR ANTIBIOTICS ONLY TO BE REFERRED TO ANOTHER HOSPITAL AND WHEELED INTO THE CRITICAL CARE UNIT AND PLACED ON OXYGEN.

I CANT STRESS THIS ENOUGH. GO TO A QUALIFIED DOCTOR ASAP.

They ought to have given you a pain relief drug sha. Ibuprofen was added to mine and it helped with the pain. You can ask your doc.

The day i didnt take it, that's how i felt feverish too. All might be well but just get checked at the hospital, to be 100% sure.

Signs of infection : swolleness, soreness, redness, hotness plus if it stinks. If it ticks 2 especially hotness, it is most likely infected.
