Liquidity: 1st (CBN even lifted about N135b from FBNH to assist SKYE)
Impairment : Not good, about 64b H1
other comments H1:
FBNH mgt has done a good job in reducing operational expenses very well and this has helped the lapse on impairment to still maintain good PBT.

That would be scary!

I am sure CBN would not want to go that route even if their situation warrants it considering the strategic importance of the bank.

They would rather manage it quietly. If FBN should sneeze, the whole industry will catch cold...

Sir, i understand your point. Without speculators stock market wouldn't be very interesting. Let me clarify something, to make money in stock market this is how i diversified my portfolios': Growth Stocks, Dividend Yield Stocks, and a little bit speculative stocks. Don't worry, we would all be fine. You might not agree with all speculators but that doesn't mean you should dislike them...lol . Best of luck in all our endeavors!

Just heard that the expected Q2 result for Gtbank may not be as good as we expect. That's the reason for the delay. Keep your ears to the ground.

As for first bank. Don't expect anything impressive until 2017/18.
