Why do Christians use this verse all the time ; "Genesis 2:24 Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh".
And not
"If a man have a stubborn and rebellious son, which will not obey the voice of his father, or the voice of his mother, and that, when they have chastened him, will not hearken unto them: Then shall his father and his mother lay hold on him, and bring him out unto the elders of his city, and unto the gate of his place; And they shall say unto the elders of his city, This our son is stubborn and rebellious, he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton, and a drunkard. And all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, that he die. Deuteronomy 21:18-21"

The new testament was about the story of Jesus and cannot be passed as a religion. The true Christian religion if there ever was one is the Old Testament of the bible where Yahweh gave his laws. You must follow those laws no matter how barbaric they sound if you wanna be a Christian.

According to these verses in the bible, Jesus said; mattew 23:1-3

"Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,Saying The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not."

The above clearly stated, do what the laws said and not what the Pharisees did. How difficult is that to understand. There is no grace but laws to be followed by a true Christian. The Muslims are the true Christians apparently!
