I was in primary school when seismic exploration was carried out by both shell and Halliburton on the Chad basin.


After studying geology for 5years, I found out, it's almost impossible to get commercial qualities of oil in North east( Chad basin). There are some many geological evidence that have showed the Nigeria end of the Chad basin is a non propeliferous oil basin.



This government is too stubborn. He should divert the money for the seismic exploration to agricultural and solid minerals. Are we not ready to divert as canvas by this government.

NNPC shouldn't be involved in such kind of 50/50 exploration and seismic survey. The IOCS should be the active player.

The statement that got Me pissed off is when The Aboki Hausa NNPC GMD said it is closer to HOME
