@justwise, Pls which university in canada can u recommend for someone hoping to pursue Phd program in microbiology.

My application jst clocked 12 weeks yest.. Applied May 24th and jst after sending my first mesg here few hours ago, i recieved a message that my application has been refused, based on purpose of visit, length of propsed stay in canada and current employment situation.
Although I applied for Diploma in Business Administration... Cos i already have a Masters in Law degree from Uk...
I used my husband as sponsor, he has his own company, made them understand im an administrative partner in the organisation, showed enough assets evidence, tax clearance and trade invoices... but i guess perhaps the said course and gng for and me not showing enough stuff related to my current employment are causes...
I have a current valid canadian visa, visited smtime last year as well... travel history not a problem, but i need to tackel the exact problem.

pls how do I ask for the gcms or whats its called...

Geez! sorry madam.Try getting a PHD admission while you order and await for ur GCMS file.a PHD Admission would go a long way. a mistake made is having Masters and going for diploma and at business administration considering ur LAW background and Masters.the ''current employment situation'' dosen't mean you are unemployed but it is as a result of the inconsistency in program and program level you opted for

I'm working presently and I don't understand the reasons for refusal.
I intend to reapply in time for January Intake as i've paid half my fees already.
How do I request for the GCMS notes? and Does anyone have an idea what i should do differently this time?

Exactly .. although i tot, cos of the change in field, a business administration stuff wld ve been better, but then i shld have tot of an MBA or PHD.. but thats what I wld do now for May or September next year intake... thank u...

Yes you can do that. There are no cut and dry rules. All you need to do is present whatever information in a way that is clear and easily comprehensible to the visa officer. Also, why do you need a consent letter? I have never heard of the concept of a consent letter for an applicant older than 18 years of age. Best.

lol...i am now canadian VO abi??.i have checked @aanubaby16 and it was an oblivious mistake from her part.her next re-application with a PHD admission would go a long way.check my comment at her post above to see the analysis

Please someone whose relation is sponsoring and the relation is a biz man who has CAC certificate and operates an individual (personal) account.

Sponsor's CAC certificate only bears the company name.

What CAC documents are required from the sponsor given the fact the sponsor uses an individual (personal) account?

You need CAC form 2 (Certificate of incorporation of company)

You also need CAC form 7 (Particulars of directors)

Showing that he's a director in the company.

The above documents are to show the source of the funds in his account. I.e proof of business ownership.

you are the one to order it.please order the GCMS NOTE it is imperative. i am beginning to feel that it is like CIC have list of Courses for PGC/PGD and anyone they see not the career/employable prospects and lucrativeness,they bounce it. computer science and information security management are related or were they considering your occupation as a customer service manager of what what advantage the intended program would add to your career/profile? you know the kind of scrutiny they apply to PGD/PGC in the reference to the program,occupation and career wise do not apply so much on masters/phd applicants.just my thoughts and observation though. Inshort anyone wey get better grade should apply for Masters even if it means writing GRE to qualify. i don tire sef . PURPOSE OF VISIT is not always all about the relationship but as i have seen a case it could be the Vo does not see reason why you need that program at this point in your career which your SOP will now do the magic.purpose of visit get many factors behind it.

I think she should get her gcms notes first before we go on a wide goose chase.

I read her profile and I observed that her undergrad discipline is LATENTLY related to her intending program. my guess is that her statement of purpose is not convincing enough. I don't think she identified or highlighted her preparation for her intending program.

purpose of visit,yes.but this is not the language often used on GCMS notes..it is always a sententious statement before arriving at concern on ur purpose of visit. did the VO mention inconsistency on the program of study in canada considering your previous education and employment history (UG;Economics, Job;admin officer pgd;intentional business management??).can you please come out straight for us to avoid unnecessary panic.
