Once more. If you are preparing to travel and need affordable air tickets, pm me.

I'm heading to Toronto and got my ticket for 267k. Someone should please check the price of getting to Toronto on Google.

My fellow jjc(I'm one too), some provinces have more than one airport, check which is most convenient for you before purchasing.

Hello Cassette boy i need your services. I have sent you a pm already.

You make a good point. Maybe emailing and tweeting and calling the Canadian Immigration Minister is the best way to go.

lawmerchant:
I doubt if Foreign Affairs would want do anything about this. I'll rather suggest you individually complain to or tweet the Canadian Immigrantion Minister - John McCallum. If he gets so many complaints, he'll be asking Accra questions.

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 10 by Iggynasia(f): 12:47am On Aug 19, 2016
Thank you Everyone.

Below is my timeline:
I submitted on the 27th of June with Upfront Medicals.

M.A in Conflict Studies, Saint Paul University federated with UOttawa. SPU concentrates basically on the humanitarian courses. I don't know exactly how its operated but I know I was directed there from UOttawa while applying for admission.

I went via Paper Route (approximately 7wks)

- All CIC forms
- My birth Certificate, Mommy, Daddy and my Older Sis. (Just the two of us but technically, i'm more like the only dependent)
- My IELTS RESULT
- My Statement of Result from Sch and Certificate
- My NYSC Cert (I finished May. Applied June after it was issued. I needed to rectify the information on job experience in the CIC form so I couldnt afford to leave my cert out) I served in a conflict zone which was practical to be included
- Recommendation letter from where I served (Ame. Uni Nig)
- Waec Results
- Admission package from SPU
- My mom's financial statements of two accounts, investment and salary. (A transaction with a relatively huge amount was carried out on my stead into her account and we had a lawyer prepare that. Of course, a mother can go the extreme so this was realistic and couldn't be term as lodging) I used only my mom as sponsor cuz my daddy is retired.
- Consent letter from daddy as a boss. (i'm his baby...lol)
- Letter of Introduction from my mom's bank (An international bank with a branch in Nigeria)
- My mom's passport travel history.
- My passport with my travel history (Just UK with three issued visas, one presently valid for 5years.) I was denied as a child with my sis but it was revoked within 24 hours without any appeal. My mom's office worked on that. I did not know this till I submitted when the issue of refusal to any country on this forum came up. I asked my mom and she was attacking me why I did oversabi. I really didnt know but was consoled it might not really count since it was revoked. Whereas, I was only a small geh following mommy.
- Mommy's pension and stock investments
- Two declared assets.
- LOE

I have not paid tuition or hustled accommodation. I was laidbac on everything till I was sure and now i feel under-prepared. The FX matter is big enough to cause kwanta but God did not bring me this far only to leave me. To every TRV hopeful, it is normal for us to feel scared or allow negativity set in. However, believe that it will work out just fine as long as your application is genuine. I had a frightening dream before I woke up to check my mail, but Satan did not realise that he has failed a long time ago. With God, all things are possible. I learnt and met valuable friends here and hope to meet more. smiley

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE MSC APPLICANTS GETTING APPROVED.i want to say something,CIC is partial, cruel to us PGC/PGD. look at the above moniker that got approved, used a sponsorship that is not related and provided no proof of relationship according to him and got approved. But @monikerJayne07 who is now my good friend on chat, used same unrelated sponsorship with little/no proof of relationship and got refused instantly even after paying 1st semester tuition fees with good bank statement.Moreso i v have seen masters applicants stating they are studying online course after being out of service for more than 1year till date while a PGC/PGD applicant tried such and was told "limited economic and social ties" and "i don't think the applicant is well established in his home country".this is to say that VOs apply strictness in assessing PGC/PGD APPLICANTS.. Even my school fees is much higher than some masters program still masters seem credible to CIC.i applied since MAY 16,now tell me the essence of my applying early enough?this is just a SPONTANEOUS PLANNED delay from CIC,when people that applied July have been responded to.I feel like already refused applicant since i can no longer go for sept which is obvious.
Lubbish!

Fellow pgd/pgc applicants let us do ourselves a favour by mailing the head of Canadian immigration. Enough of our stup!d ranting on nairaland (as if na nairaland go give us TRV). just create a new yahoo or Gmail account if u scared of them tracing you email address back to you application. It doesn't cost us a dime to send this mails (a phone call to will do), we re not doing this for ourselves alone we are doing it for thousands of applicants all over the country. I just did myself, let us all do d same

Below is the mail I sent, pls don't sound rude or use abusive words but pls pour out your mind and let d man feel our pain.

URGENT Good morning sir, my name is Ade from Nigeria. I would like to call your attention towards the high rate of denial of post graduate diploma (PGD) and post graduate certificate(PGC) applicants applying from Nigeria. From my little investigation and findings applicants going for Master and PHd programs are receiving a biased and fair treatment compared to PGD/PGC applicants. Also from my findings I noticed that some PGD/PGC applications that are very credible are being deinied after 17-18 week (which is way after the stated period on CIC website for Nigerian applicants) of subimission whereas masters program applicants are been approved within 6-7 weeks. I see this treatment as biased and unfair because level of a program should not determine if an applicants application should be denied and come to think of it we all pay the same application fee so we deserve to be treated fairly and equally as long as we meet the various visa requirements. The applications from Nigeria are being treated in Ghana, I would be glad and thankful if you can call the visa officers in Ghana to order to treat all applications fairly. thank you sir, help us live the Canadian dream the Candian way.

its even better they start distinguishing it as COLLEGE STUDY PERMIT --PGC/PGD,Dip and UNIVERSITY STUDY PERMIT --MENg,LLM,Msc,M.A,MBA e.t.c with each category requirements.. Not after submitting thesame requirements as Masters applicants did, they will find a controversial excuse to discard my application.Na field work which is practically oriented with technicality dey pay ENGINEERS,ARCHITECTS big money not paper work.all this white men for AGIP,SHELL,LLNG,wey dem dey use convoys/mopols follow na ordinary diploma and advance diploma dem hold. CIC should get this into their SKULL.whatta nonsense! I am about to type my own mail to send to that Email
