the Guy is more than a Mumu....sometimes we paint being brave as being foolhardy. What he did is called blatant disrespect of constituted authority. Lemme explain so u will understand. If your dad does what you feel is wrong, would you go to the pages of the newspaper to write a critique about him and then expect him to provide you with shelter, clothing and food? At the worse, u will call him privately and talk to him.

Nothing stops him from putting up an anonymous article or using a pseudo name. he thinks after ''insulting'' (i choose to call it that, because when u criticize, u point out faults and proffer solutions to the faults) the school authority he expects them to congratulate him and present him with a certificate.

This is more than Mumu. He should learn to fight with common sense.

As for Baba, baba was a very funny man reason being that he was the only that laughed at his own jokes.

I also remember Prof. Nwokoma during ECN lectures. Those courses really bashed me!

Even though you and I know that our Great Unilag is crap but truth be told, he should not have openly bashed those guys. The rot in our educational system was caused by our government(s) and not by the lecturers. They too work in an harsh environment.

By the way, these days, what goes on in our universities are mostly hogwash. How many universities in Nigeria can boast of transformational learning? How many lecturers have adopted a transformational approach to the feat of lecturing? Sadly very few. Several of our professors who are acclaimed experts in their fields, rather than putting into realities what they studied, especially by on-field practice nd demonstrations, they rather prefer to sit down in their offices, write papers and bask in the sun and euphoria of past achievements and glories, rather than waking up to the harsh realities of time, and a changing world...they come to class rigmarole students with words from dirty, brown, ancient lengthy notes.
There is a need for a catalytic structural and revolutionary change in our higher institutions. It's high time our institutions as citadels of learning acceded to change, transformation and the harsh realities of a changing world. No matter how we see it, education still remains the key to transformation and change in Nigeria. Our professors must wake to the realities of a changing world and put their knowledge to practice.
