stop arguing what you don't know because you want to come and start forming one big boy here. Carry your phone and Google it, you will see countless of Icloud hacking stuff. Probably you just started using apple if not you wont even argue this lol
First of all, I'm not arguing with anybody at all, and I've been using apple products since 2010, I still don't get why some of you think only rich folks use apple, come on, I know some broke people that uses apple products, everybody has a choice okay.

My s6 battery is so poor I had to buy a power case for it just so it can get me from 7am to 5pm.
Now this is embarrassing. Why do Samsung keep ripping their customers off? You buy such an expensive phone yet you have to use a power case everywhere. Shameful. Samsung should be sued.

Fine tune what? I get 5 hours plus screen on time on my iPhone, I get 3 hours on my s6. On heavy usage my s6 gets to 30% before 11am while my iPhone would be on around 70%. That is chill all day?

Look at the screenshot below, I woke up around 8am with 70% on my s6 and I've been using it since 8am... Now I have 25%. I had 100% on my iPhone and I've been using that too but still have 99%.
There are loads of things you aren't telling us. I'm presently using S6 edge and the battery is still pretty good despite its 1yr and 4 months old. So many things deteriorates batteries but you dude ain't telling us the full story.

Btw seems you got a special iphone 5s cos it has always been a phone with mediocre battery. You can OLX it.

I was using an lg g3 with 3,000mah battery and battery life is almost same as my s6, the g3 was slightly better because it had better standby time (no way near iPhone standby time). Before the g3 I used htc one m7 that one also had mediocre battery. Are u trying to say I've been buying poor phones? I also have an android tablet with 8,000mah battery and it lasts just 1 day while I find it difficult to kill the battery of my ipad 3 before I sold it. Again biggest problem of my android tablet is standby time. Leave it at 99% in the night by the time u wake up u have 85%.

G3 has a poor QHD display and the SoC wasn't strong enough for it. Only you how you use your phone and it's only you that have said iPhone 5s battery is better than s6 when reviews have rated iphone 6 to have a poor battery life. Kudos bro.

My selection of gadgets should let u know I love android, but do I need to buy a mid range phone before I can get a decent battery life? I don't think so. I can't deal with a phone with poor display.

Stop it bro. The only person not reasoning with a free mind here is you. Macbook was outselling the pc as the latter has been decling. Chromebook is presenting outselling macs. Yes it's cheaper but is the outcome of the sales affecting Apple. That's a big yes.

Stakeholders don't care if their competitors sell their products for $1if it doest affect theirs but once it begins affecting it then it becomes a problem. At the moment, the stakeholders aren't good with the outcome in the PC market regarding how Mac sales are declining ..

Lol.. really? I wrote this based on personal experience. Currently I own an iPhone 5s and galaxy s6. Before then I have used lg g3, htc one m7 and Sony xperia z1. I have never had any android phone that gave me good battery life.

My iPhone 5s has 1,560mah battery and it lasts longer than my galaxy s6 with 2,550mah even though the Samsung is the newer phone. All my android phones are stock, I don't root, I don't tweak. I can go to bed by 10pm with 100% on my iPhone and wake up by 6am with 100% with wifi on. Same thing on my Samsung I will have like 92% battery life with wifi on, with wifi off I would have like 96%. It was the same experience with lg g3 which had 3,000mah battery, though the LG had better stabdby time than my galaxy s6, but screen on time is too low. I have NEVER seen a phone with better stabdby time than an iPhone.

Now this are real life battery experience where u will use ur phone for some minutes and then put it in ur pocket, iPhone 5s will comfortably last a day while the 6s plus will last a day and a half, a galaxy s7 edge with 3,500mah will last a day then will need a charge. But for my galaxy s6 I always need to charge before 3pm on moderate use... For heavy usage I normally kill it before 11am.

where it differs is when u use ur phone non stop, like continuously playing a video without break, then a galaxy s7 edge would last longer than an iPhone 6s plus, but really who uses a phone like that? For real life usage iphones are beasts because they have the best standby time.
You made a point but you didn't go deep with your point. Battery drainage is influenced by different factors,
one is the screen on time,
2 is RAM ,
3 is processor
4 is GPU .

Most of the time RAM and processor consumes more power than the other 2.

Galaxy S7 edge has a 4GB RAM and a combined (QUAD CORE and OCTACORE processor - that's like 4+8 =12!) with adreno GPU (which has 8cores) .

IPhone 6s plus has a DUAL CORE processor(thats like 10 cores lesser) and 2 GB RAM(2GB lesser) with power VR GPU (which has 6 cores *also 2 cores lesser* ) so you don't expect both to compare in terms of power drainage while running.

Pick another android phone, and this time check the specs first and make sure they atleast both have the same before making the comparatives.

Logic:

You compare ios and Android = Problem
You compare flagship and flagship = Problem
You compare battery capacities = Problem
You compare resolution vs resolution = Problem
You compare fluidity/apps = Problem

Now you compare soc/gpu/ram. So we should pit an iPhone 6 with Samsung a8 or j5? = Problem

Just let it go...

Bro, I thought by now you'd have stopped with the pointless debate.
You've shown us enough proofs but "they" won't see reason. I had an s6, discharged it after 2 months for an s6 active just cos of the battery, compromising root and fingerprint. Before then a note 4, before then another note 4.

Even at that, I switch off my s6 active every night cos the phone discharges 3% every hour when idle.

You can't see reason with these people cos every of your post would continuously get attacked even when you're not an ios fanboy.

i have told greehulk and bossmd time without number to ignore those who engage in any discussion here without facts.. I i have used android in such a way that i can even build myself a custom rom with a source code, I don't think any of them even come close to understanding android, the way i did.. I did virtually anything that can be done on android myself.. I remember vividly when i bought the htc one m8 then, their was no cwm file nor rooting process yet, one had to pay to unlock its bootloader, but i did build my own cwm.img and my stuffs ..despite all these, i still switched to Apple and i must confess, virtually anything software related you wish to do with your iphone can be done, its just a matter of how busy are you are if you need it.. One thing you guys should know about android users is that they make the greatest noise.. They try to fight , windows phone users, blackberry users, iphone users, virtually any Phone not android, they try so hard to make you see reasons why their own phone is the bomb and why you would need it.. So arguing with them or telling them of your own personal expirience is pointless because, this inferiority complex affecting them will automatically turn them into yellers and they wouldn't mind insulting you just to make a point.. Since you learn absolutely nothing from arguing with these lots, what do you do? Simply ignore them, because they themselves already know their place, whether they choose to accept it or not is up to them, but they already know.. Stop killing yourself trying to teach them, they all know.. I use to be one of them, I insulted iphone at any given opportunity, not because of anything, but because it was a more better option, i knew, but I didn't accept.. When I finally tried it out, I automatically knew the reason why Apple is the number one company worldwide.. So ignore the noise makers and explain to those who genuinely wants to know the difference between Ios and Android..

It's really funny when some people feel superior because they own Apple devices. On this same thread I've schooled them and busted their blatant lies with facts but they totally ignored them even when they know yheh are the real facts. Subsequently, iOS users feel their phone is best in everything. Android users don't. They know theres still room for improvement here and there and they never shy away from admitting that.

Typical Apple user will tell you everything is fine with their phone and OS. They will ridicule Android despite Android been more stable and secured. They proceeded with the ridiculing despite ripping off features that debuted on Android and it's OEMS and added it to their beloved OS and phone.

Android users give acknowledgment when and where it's due but Apple users never. On this same thread they have concluded QHD display will be better on iphones than it's competitors when it's even yet to debut. They lied about ios7 been the first OS to go flat. I counted all these and more with facts. Anybody willing to know these can back few pages.

To each his own tho but like I said Android users won't shove their products unlike Apple users. The op requested for the phone to buy between iphone 6s and S7 edge. The latter has more pros over the earlier. It's the fact but Apple users will still downplay them.

U are still getting it twisted. I don't care what is under their hood, I want a flagship phone with good battery life and smooth experience. The reason for all these ram, cores and GPU is to make phones perform tasks with ease right? Both have different os, so 2gb on ios might be equivalent to 4gb on android, and octacore is just a gimmick, what matters is the chip. An AMD A8 quad has more cores than a dual core i5 processor but does that make it a better performer? It is time we stop using those extra cores and rams as excuses and actually give credit to apple for creating a powerful yet power efficient OS.

If a v6 engine can give me the same (or even better ) acceleration, top speed and torque of a v12 then what is the point of the v12 then if not agbaya.

Iphone 6s with 2gb of ram is still faster and multitasks better than even the newly released galaxy note 7 with 4gb of ram so what are we talking about? If u doubt me search YouTube. My iPhone 5s with 1gb of ram keeps apps in memory than my galaxy s6 with 3gb if ram so what are we talking? If u doubt me I will make a YouTube video and post it. So having more cores and rams is not an excuse. Blame Google that can't make android power efficient hence need for more specs to keep the performance on the high level. There are no apps or games a galaxy note 7 with 4gb of ram can run that an iPhone 6s cannot run, even at a better frame rate. What's the need for better GPU? Is it not for games and heavy apps? Unless there are games that can run on android but can't run on iphones, that is when the need for all these specs will be justified.

U asked me to pick another android phone... Do u expect me to pick a 1.3ghz mtk phone with 2gb of ram to compare with an iPhone 6s? Lol. U know that one is not fair na, those phones that cannot run apps at 20fps, those phones that can't even navigate screens smoothly.

On android, in other to tweak, what do you first need to do, you need to root your phone, install xposed installer and get xposed module tweaks from it..

On android , in other to tweak, what do you do first? You need to jailbreak, get Cydia, and get good repos to install tweaks from it...

The sooner you guys understand the only difference between tweaking in ios and android is that Apple seriously frowns at it because it might spoil your phone, and patches jailbreak with updates, but Google frowns at it, patches root process with updates, but since android is open source and spreads across many OEMs, it's really not that possible to completely rid root..

Why would I change an ipad for a galaxy tablet? I don't use a galaxy tab, plus I sold the ipad in 2013. And then I needed something portable I could use for work instead of going around with my laptop, something that can read files from flash disk and hard drive( I didn't know ios devices support flash then). And if I had extra money I would have kept it. So long story short I bought Nokia 2520 windows to tablet, decent tablet but windows rt was messed up, couldn't run x86 programs... Wtf.

Long story short I finally settled for a teclast x16 power tablet. It suits my need as it has dual boot ( windows 10 and android 5.1), 64gb of storage, USB 3.0 support, pen support, Hdmi out, a decent Intel atom x7 processor and 8gb of ram. My only problem is poor battery life when using android and the screen responsiveness is not the best, but most of the times I use it with a keyboard.

Bros, just like I said , samsung is not the only android device so you can't use it as a yard stick to make judgement. I mentioned it earlier that you don't just pick random android phones , pick them based on specs all balanced.

We have huawei. LG, Xaiomi, LEceco, google nexus and so on . All with different hardware specifications.
There are android phones that match up these specs and are backed up with a good battery . E.g Xaiomi Redmi note 3, Huawei Ascend Mate7 etc all have 4000mah and with a higher specification than iphone 6s. We even have gionee M5 plus with over 5000mah battery to compliment its high end specs and these phone has up to 1 month standby time.

This is not an argument you seem like winning !

U are still getting it twisted. I don't care what is under their hood, I want a flagship phone with good battery life and smooth experience. The reason for all these ram, cores and GPU is to make phones perform tasks with ease right? Both have different os, so 2gb on ios might be equivalent to 4gb on android , and octacore is just a gimmick, what matters is the chip.

Bros you are running out of point. Are you for real ? 2gb on iphone is equivalent to 4gb on android ? 1 Gb ram keeps more apps in memory than the 3gb ram? Are you alright ? If this is a joke you had better stop. What task do you even perform on the phone you proclaim youre multitasking on ? I dont understand these apple fan boys o. I thought you guys will have gotten over your hypnosis state but you seem to be getting worse day after day.
You are going beyond technology logic to defend your point and I think its cos you sense you're losing . As it stands, I even doubt if you've ever used an android phone, or most likely you bought the UK used/faulty ones. Before I proceed , can you post a picture of the supposed android phones you've used cos I'm beginning to doubt your credibility.

hmmm...I see..I felt the iOS was too limiting for my liking.. I mean, what's the need of having a Bluetooth feature on a device you can't use? Got a pad 2 from India years back..and the only stuff I could do with it was browse, chat and take pictures..it discouraged me from getting an iPhone ever since...can jailbreaking alone eliminate all the restrictions?
yes it can... What really do you want to be doing with the device,?
