My sis, pregnacare is not a must, what of those that can't afford it and still give birth to healthy baby. Just take ur folic acid and the blood capsule (ferrous) given to u religiously, buy biscuit bone for calcium, eat balance diet and take fruit very well, with these u r good to go.

I stopped taking pregnacare when I was 3mths gone cos it turned my poo to stone and I hardly go to toilet for five days. I gave birth to a healthy baby with just my folic and ferrous.

am happy to see you here from TTC thread. so ve given birth. Congrats!!! Concerning ur question, plz b careful on how u handle this. Don't b harsh on the man. Sort things out wit dh and give him time to talk to his friend. I believe over time dh will make him understand the situation of things.
I also wish to know if the guy contribute to the wellbeing of the family at all.

I started with pregnacare original at 14weeks, used a pack and switched to my routine drugs after a month with a pcv of 34. I now decided to upgrade to pregnacare max which I got for 6k. My doctor now said that why am I wasting my money when I could cook snail and some orisirisi with the 6k. And through to her words my pcv dropped to 33. She then advised that I stick to my routine drugs and see what happens. As at the last test my pcv was 36. I hope my tori help o

I have learnt a lot from this thread. I have successfully given birth and have some experience and knowledge about pregnancy, thanks to this thread. It will be selfish, yes, very selfish of me if i turn tail now and abandon the new mamas and not help them out simply because of the 'iranu' happening.

Granted, they are very disheartening but if mamas had run away from this thread when i was preggo, who would have helped me?

Let's put whatever annoys us aside and stick together. To those who have left and those contemplating leaving, please think about how this will affect the innocent ones on this thread.

This thread needs all of us just as we needed the thread back then. We'll all laugh over all these someday just as we always do.

I use pregnant care plus and I don't have MC. Though have not been having it since I got pregnant. I normally use it when am about to sleep.my symptoms are fatigue and constipation I always feel as if they pumped gas inside my stomach which is not comfortable at all.

Was constantly constipated too, orange was my enemy. Must mag was my constant companion. All those gaviscon n co don't work for me. Some swear by gascol.

Dear, just my opinion below..... Well not really an opinion .....

You have to handle this situation with wisdom. I know it will be hard to labour at work and then bring your earnings home to feed a full grown man especially when you also have to borrow to meet other needs. I have however witnessed or been in similar situations and came to the personal conclusion that it is a /my service to God....

Do you mind if we ask - does your guest work? Does he help out dh at home with the 'manly' chores at least? Do you get along well? Is it just the financial situation causing the rift or there are other things you have not mentioned? Pls lets have more details if available .

I do agree with the mama who said you should pass a bulk of the burden of the loan repayment to your husband; pls work out with him how he can help pay back the debt even if it is 20k per month. That will provide you some relief and pacify your mum a bit....

I'm of the opinion that if u eat a balanced diet, especially a lot of fruits n vegetables, with ur folic acid and fesolate, u will be just fine. with my first child, I didn't take any prenatal vitamins, just folic acid n desolate n my baby was very healthy. this present pregnancy I bought pregnacare about 2 months ago and I haven't been able to finish even one sachet because of ms. I find it too big to swallow sef

LaDivva, pregnacare did the same thing to me and I stopped it. I went with my doctor's prescription instead (folic acid, ferrous and calcium, sometimes).
So, please, see your doctor, he'll know what to do.. .

Like realdentist said, eat a balanced diet, with lots of fruits and veggies...

Please, make sure you see your doctor about the drugs...
