First of all,I would like to acknowledge that not all men cheat.But that is not the point of discussion.The joy of every marriage is for it to be blissful and both parties can have peace of mind.That said,if u want this to happen as a woman(for the sake of this post) is to have it in mind that all or most men will cheat so that when it does happen you won't be surprised.But if as a woman you respond by doing the same, then the end of the marriage is almost inevitable.And if that happens who loses the most if not the woman. But if u do as the O.P suggested, in no time,he would be repentant.

I will like to add that I don't encourage cheating.

Many guys suffer from mid life crises when they think it is their right to bed as many ladies as they want but at a latter stage in their lives they tend to focus on their wives.

The problem is that many ladies are not patient during this stage but the truth is that in 9 out of 10 cases, no man is ready to give up their wives for a side dish but it is these wives who willingly give up the man to the side dish when she files for divorce thereby giving the side dish the opportunity to take over the matrimonial home she sweated to build and ironically the lady who left the husband due to infidelity ends up committing same sin with another woman's husband in .most cases.

I have a problem with number one. It's one thing to expect that your husband may cheat on you someday in the long run (which should never be) , but it's a different matter altogether to tell your husband straight out that you expect he'll cheat on you.

That has a lot of implications. First, it means you're telling him you don't trust him even if he may not have done anything in the past to warrant that sort of distrust. Just by virtue of him being a man, you're saying you can't trust him.

Also, it will seem as though you're giving him free reins...to cheat on you as long as you don't find out. That way, even if he does cheat, he'll be very comfy with himself.

Thirdly, it just doesn't make sense at all. Be prepared for the worst, but don't concede to the worst.

When i read lame comments attacking my personal life rather than address the subject matter i tend to really feel so sorry for the reasoning faculty of that poster.

For petes sake what trash are you talking about having a bad marriage or seeing a psychologist.

Look here lady, i am no longer a kid and Yes i might have been in and out of marriage which is the more reason you should take my threads seriously and the last time i checked i am not writing about MY LIFE but about my dogged view on the subject so please stop trolling and focus on the matter of discuss.

At my age you don't expect me to come to nairaland to start messing myself up but the best i can do is offer my advice and leave anyone to accept or reject it which is why since 2007 that i joined, i have conducted myself with dignity and no lady on nairaland can say i have ever wooed her or comported myself in a stupid manner.

I just gave a recipe for marital longevity and that same secret was implemented by most of our parents at least those of us in late 30s and 40s which is why our mothers grow old with our dad.

Women are not allowed under any law to cheat unless perhaps in Babylon city. Once a woman is caught she will be sent packing. It is a terrible thing and an eyesore for any married woman to be cheating openly. Women are the receptors so how many men can she possibly open up to. It is disgusting to imagine that the mother of a mans children could ever open her unclothedness to another man.

Please and please women should resist such, if they want to cheat in secret that is their business but when caught they must bear the full consequences.
