Hi Damsell, good to see you here again. Are you using LA this time? If you are, have you sorted the accommodation ish? Since thst appears to be the challenge angry

hey sis, I'm back ooo... God is faithful indeed. its looking like its LA for me this time ,only the accommodation is proving challenging like you said. Can't imAgine that one would have to pay so much more for accommodation than the medicals itself, got one and was about to commit but hubby is reading all these things on the internet about gangs and shootings and stuff around all those areas near the hospital and doctor's office and he said no way, that we should look for a better and safer neighborhood, It's not like these ones are even cheap sef o. I con ask am whether na for Beverly Hills abi for Calabasas him want make we stay on top this dollar ish. How is your lil one doing too? Regards

@LadyAy congrats on your POE experience. i wish you success in the remaining part of the mission.

Please do u really mean you got PTA at 265 (stanbic) and 256 (travelex)? shocked or 365 and 356. Thanks

ladyAy:
Hello guys, I got in to Chicago yesterday. Flew BA and American Airlines on Sunday to New york at 34weeks 3 days. Flight was really good, except that I had motion sickness ( never experienced it before). Thank God I had an extra top in my hand luggage ( so please prepare oh, anything can happen to a preggie woman)....
My Forex hustle- stanbic gave me only 2k at 265 on Wednesday. Then on Sunday morning my travel date, I took my printed boarding pass to travelex at MMA1 and with God's favour got the remaining 2k at 256.

U guys not sending BA at all? I see good deals for peeps leaving from Lagos o. Me I no fit do dat waka.
All d best.
Abeg epp me with cheapo alert Abuja to JFK/EWR for Mid Oct to Mid Jan grin

Dwebb55:

From my prelim investigation, your best fare now is Royal Air maroc @N282K, leaving 06/10 to return either 01/12 or 03/12. Next best fare is Virgin @N363K to leave 06/10 and return either 28/11 or 02/12. After that is Ethiopian air from 04/10 to 29/11 @N383K. You can go directly to the websites for each airline picking these dates to get slight cheaper fares(maybe 2-5K less)

The thing with the BA/Lufthansa deals is that you have to pay online with your card. Now the airlines show you the charge @ the official Naira rate and that's what they will charge if you were to pay into their accounts straight but if you use your visa/mastercard, your bank will change at its own rate which doesn't make the deal as good e.g. a trip might state N358K but in $, it's $1,130. Using your Naira card, the bank will charge you N390/$1 making you pay N440K instead of N358K.

Anyways, lets see what a search of your dates will turn up

@Dwebb55 U're right. This is what an agent @Transcorp Hilton tried explaining to me but I didn't get it cos she didn't come out straight.
But Im lucky and blessed to have my brother pay for me so he will get it at that rate. However I'm still looking for cheap deals to appear considerate grin & make it easy on him.
That explains why peeps aren't really talking abt BA dem. Thanks for d insight.

For network to use, ultramobile and lycamobile are good options to use. You can download the Boss Revolution app too which is very cheap to call Nig
U can use the free airport wifi to access your uber app, but note that only uber black is allowed in the airport from my previous experiences and the cost is kinda same with regular airport taxis..weigh Ur options
Safe trip

[quote author=TripleKMama post=49178615][b]the trick I use to get cheaper cab fares is this:at the airport I join one of the car rental(eg Hertz, alomo) vans to their office out side the airport then I ask the person at the help desk to help call a cab. Always way cheaper than renting from the airport grin

Hello Guys, got the email below from Sterling Bank. Hope these pple are nt coming up with something fishy again in the banking sector. It better be Sterling bank and Visa cards alone!!!

However, your cards are still available for domestic transactions on all channels.

To continue to facilitate your International transactions, we encourage you to get a Visa Gold Debit Card issued on our USD domiciliary account.

Please click HERE to read more about the VISA Gold Card and visit any of our branches to make a request for the card.

We sincerely apologize for all inconveniencies.

New York to EL Paso is actually about 5.05hrs, however, there are no direct flights so your total trip time depends on the length of your stop over.

Congrats to all new mamas! Just checking in. Please I have a question: since my son is a citizen, is he entitled to any aid like Medicaid or CHIP? The bills are running HIGH. Just MRI is $5k and this does not include the anesthesia he was given for the procedure or radiologist bill. And that's just 1 of the many tests and procedures he's been through. I'm talking setting up payment plan and the hospital staff are advising I get him a Medicaid no. Using his social security, because they forsee bills running really high...
Abeg everyone help me before I make a wrong decision. I'm so distressed right now.
Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 4 by Lajoie33: 4:20am On Sep 09, 2016
Firstymum and all medical people, abeg help me explain this: They've done xrays, ultrasound, CT, MRI, extensive lab work and biopsy. They still dont have a clue about what is wrong... is this normal? To be fair, full biopsy result isn't out, but prelim study revealed nothing. They now want to xray me n DH...
