Its not realistic. While I agree that Rooney isnt good enough consistently, the fact that he can still produce moments in matches means he will still be in the team. so although I like your formation there, The shape of the team will have to be changed to accommodate him for now.

Noticed SAF was the only coach bold enough to bench Rooney? That should tell us something. Mou will definitely bench Rooney next season if he eventually wins the EPL and Rooney, although playing frequently, contributed little to the success.

You could have just made it simpler by saying indifferent disappointed or happy. Anyway we all hoping for the 3 points. But would be disappointed if they come dominate and take away the 3 points at the end. But if we were to be the better team and they won it somehow either through set piece or deflection and we had good attempts I will be satisfied with the performance and know that we can always get better. Under SAF we didn't even need to win the big boys to win the epl. Picking up maximum points from the smaller teams can guarantee one the league.

Sure, it's "just a game" but the way we approach it and our overall mentality are also important. Remember, Utd went on to lose some winnable games after Moyes' shameful loss in his first Manc derby. Dude was managing alright before he was hit by that loss, it shattered the team, to some extent.

It would be a good thing if we displayed the same attitude we showed against Hull against City, or a better one, we know we can go on to win other less difficult matches even if we lose- which is unlikely. But if Pep comes, dominates and wins, the "fear factor" we've garnered all these while will equate to mere shakara and teams like Tottenham will want to snatch 3 pts at OT.

This is Jose's first real test, and the performance is verry important.
