Most churches have simply become the easiest way to print money.....................

Don't sound like an unbeliever, yes one can be saved outside the Church, after all Saul of Tarsus had an encounter with Jesus on his way to Damascus, he was baptised in water, change his name to Apostle Paul and did exploits than those of his contemporaries who slept in church, got born again in Church. the point is a church member still have to tell him what to do for him to grasp what it means to be born again. The church is not the building as is mistakenly called by so many, the church are people scattered everywhere according to James 1:1-2.the opening of the very apostle Paul (you mention) letters was addressed to people not the temple nor the synagogues. 2, everyone who repent or become born again MUST have had an encounter at one point in time, irrespective of where that happened. It may be in the temple or outside of it. Cornelius had an encounter in his own house, he had to sent for Peter. 3, Paul did not baptise himself, neither did he change his name himself but by the church.thanks to Barnabas a Church member. In conclusion, an encounter is not the new birth experience. Paul encounter did not stopped there but the beginning of the journey. Have you heard about this movie called pilgrims progress? It's a movie I like to recommend to anybody, Christians or none Christians. The character had an encounter but yet he is not saved UNTILL he met the Church which lead him to Christ. Shalom!!

What's the essence of going to church as must when what you will get at last is your hard enough being ripped off without knowing, while getting nothing in return?

What's the essence of going to church "hoping" your problems will be solved, only for 3 good hours to be wasted by a man ministering & praying for hours upon hours, yet the result is being left off worse than before?

I mean what's the essence of going to church to pray to a God, hoping to receive answers, yet none has come, is coming, or will ever come.

Have we been deceived? Are they scamming us? #Food for thought.

All the same am not saying that going to church is all bad. It all depends on your reason.
If yours is going to receive a solution, you're in for a long thing...

If yours is like mine:
-I go to RCCG, winners, Glorious power assembly to watch the dancers & probably dance as well, enjoy the band & music & above all hear testimonies

-I go to the Catholic church if I feel like communing with the saints and singing high hymns with the choristers...lovely
And of course receive the fresh precious flesh of Jesus christ (not delicious though ).

-The kingdom hall of Jehovah Witnesses. I love this one above all I must confess. When ever I feel like re-visiting my mythologies & know how far I've gone with the bible , then that will be my right place to be that Sunday. I will go to meetings hoping to catch a new scapegoat for a wonderful, glorious debate

-Other pentecostals are based on invitations.

Those are the reasons I go to church when I feel like, otherwise, I use it to tackle real issues & enjoy a good time
