So why did she use somebody's name to open the accounts she alone has been using before they halted? That alone is criminal tendencies. Nobody could have dared the powerful ex first lady to carry out her instructions wrongly.... she should have just walked away if she has any shame left after all there may still many other millions, perhaps billions stashed in other places... but greed sha.... the wealth of this world never enough to satisfy it

So I can't open an account with the name of my business?

Why didn't the banks decline?

nobody is jailed based on circumstantial evidence. It is also wrong to assume the guilt of someone based on assumption.if u read the article u would see a paragraph where the writer stated she deposed to an affidavit that she asked her aid to open the account for her but he went and opened the account in his companies name.

I read it and the only thing i did was

Things keep getting messier for Mrs Jonathan. Opening 5 accounts in one day puts their entire Presidency to ridicule. Tufiakwa! Aisha Buhari or Michelle Obama should do same since it seems normal to some idiiots.

31,800,000 Dollars traced to a Civil Servant who became first lady and they still ask how we entered this recession.

At current exchange rate we are talking about 11,130,000,000 Naira. That is at 350naira per dollar

With 11,130,000,000 Naira

1. 2,000,000 can be given to 5,565 brilliant graduates to start business as entrepreneurs.
If they employ 5 people each.

5 * 5,565 people would have a job = 27,825
if those 5 people have 1 dependant each = 27,825 + 27,825 + 5,565

= 61,215 people can be beneficiaries of that fund for years.

Continue screaming we told them. Una just dey start.

NB:
1. Analysis was based on the amount Patience claimed she owned and EFCC froze.
2. I wrote them in full because, this 15M, 1B at times looks like just 15 and just 1. angry angry

Mr analysis.. can you also give a detailed analysis on how PEj stole that money or probably give us an evidence ? until you do that . I consider what you wrote as null and void..

I met that woman in 2014, and she is so nice... Let's stop the bad names till she is found guilty.
So because you met her and got swooned by the presece of a first lady we should not question the source of such a huge sum of money? Money that was lodged in an account not bearing her name. Its only now the authorities have frozen it that she knows how to show up and stake claim. She is a politically exposed person and should be of interest to the EFCC on any good day. That she was nice to you, the rest of us cant care

Nigerians Are real Hypocrites. Especially these Apc dudes. Always looking for excuses to justify their ineptitude. If she is found guilty please put her to jail. But I want these people to explain to me how exactly Tinubu made the wealth he has. 31million dollars is a chicken change to what Tinubu the grand master of corruption stole from Nigerians. If tinubu can go scot free then any criminal can go free. So please hypocrites should be quiet

Mrs PEJ owns several investments, even oil vessels, she could have ,ko made any amount she has in her account.

You can blame her for using her 'first-lady' power to give herself the business advantage, even Obasanjo did same for dangote and adenuga, he even has ota farm, but don't try to say she looted funds when you don't have evidence.

The onus of proof lies with the EFCC, to prove that the money in the said account is a looted fund.

Patience only gave herself business advantage, she didn't touch public funds

I am elated to read the comment of someone with sense.

Aisha Buhari closed her own business to hold First Lady office that Buhari said he would scrap. Nigerians have easily forgotten. She could easily have made excess profits if her husband performed well as President, but she closed up shop.

Bros you are right that she used her first lady power to give herself bizness advantage. But I need to ask you if you know it's a crime to do that as a public figure or politician? Cus if you know that, u won't write this your comment. Even that alone is enuf to land her in prison in saner climes not to talk of adding d money traced to her to it. But u know this is Nigeria and anything goes

What a shameless woman! Whom are you fooling Mrs. Jonathan? With all the powers you had while ruling with your husband you cannot make Dudafa and skye bank obey your command to revert those accounts to your name?

Now you have gone abroad to hide under false health alert. What is important is that the looted money is back to government coffers and Dudafa will have his day in court soon and very soon.

How does Aisha buhari wear clothes worth billions when her husband could not buy the presidential form?

Aisha has her assets, so does PEJ
Why are you using the injustice done by Aisha buhari to justice that done by Patience Jonathan?
Injustice begetts more injustice and the people commiting the crimes dine and wine together while the oppresed(Me, you and every other impovrisged Nigerian) keep suporting them. Nigerians deserve this recessions, we need severe hunger to reset our brains and for us to start demanding justice rather than justifying injustice.
Buhari, Jonathan, Aisha and patience have stollen enough money to last them and their children 200years. Do you have enough money to last you today?

Patience was in the civil service and the rules forbid her from owning business except Farming related.
Convicting Patience would be very easy.

PS: Those so called business, do they pay tax? Does she have tax clearance?

Any one with a law degree would win this case. So many angles to nail her.
