Return the goods entrusted to you to their rightful owners. Hurt no one so that no one may hurt you. Remember that you will indeed meet your lord and that He will indeed reckon your deeds. ALLAH has forbidden you to take usury (interest). Therefore all interst obligation shall henceforth be waived.* *Beware of Satan, for the safety of your religion. He has lost all hope that he will ever be able to lead you astray in things, so beware of following him in small things.* *O people, it is true that you have the right with regards to your woman, but they also have rights over you. If they abide by your rights then to them belong the right to be fed and clothed in kindness. Do treat your women well and be kind to them for they are your partners and committed helpers. And it approve, as well as never commit adultery.* *O people, listen to me in earnest, worship ALLAH, say your five time daily prayers (salat) fast during the month of ramadan, and give your wealth in zakat. Perform Hajj if you can afford to. You know that every muslim is the brother of another muslim. YOU ARE ALL EQUAL.. No body has superiority over another except by piety and good action.* *Remember, one day you will appear before ALLAH and answer for your deeds. O beware, do not stray from the part of righteousness after I am gone.* *O people, NO PROPHET OR APOSTLE WILL COME AFTER ME AND NO NEW FAITH WILL BE BORN. Reason well, therefore people, understand my word, which I convey to you. I leave behind me two things, the QURAN and my SUNNAH and if you follow these you will not go astray.* *All those who listen to me shall pass on my words to others and those to others again, and may the last understand my words better than those who listen to me directly. Be my witness O ALLAH, that I have convyed your message to your people"* *If you are lucky to recieve this message, pls give it widest publicity* |

I went to Church today. This Sunday was themed Financial Banquet. The Pastor said if you give God your heart without giving God your pocket, then you're not a born again  He also said that the gifts of God are free and the same time, not free He said we should pray to God to give us a lot of money 1 Like |

Brother, pls don't loose the war of your flesh. This is one of the wiles of the devil. He specialises in luring the christians away from the word of God so as to destroy them. Remeber, the devil has been defeated and does not have power over you, but he can deceive you into destruction, be wise. When you start missing Church services, your faith starts getting weak. Faith comes by hearing the Word Of God. If you are not taught the Word of God in the Church you attend, you can get tired or bored. There's a difference between preaching and teaching. We are supposed to be taught the Word of God in church because there's a lot we(Christians need to know) about who we are. We are powerful, and can do anything. The devil knows that when we come to the full knowledge of who we are, he's finished, so he will do everything to stop that, be wise. That voice telling you to stay away from Church Services is from the devil. The Holy Spirit expressly advised us through Apostle Paul, not to forsake the gathering of the saints, as the manner of some is. Brother, there is a war. The war is between the flesh and the Spirit. You're flesh will always not want you to go to Church, but your spirit will. If you allow your flesh dominate your Spirit, you fail. So pls energise your spirit so you can overcome the lust of your flesh. Hope this my post has helped. |

I read a book that opened my eyes to this scripture; 1 Corinthians 3:6 "I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase."...we Christians have grossly relied on 'Paul and Apollos" who can only plant and water but have neglected the God that gives the increase. No wonder we are frustrated and empty. No matter how much we go to church, listen to pastor, carry pastor's teaching for head, if we don't sit our butt down in His presence (one on one), the only one that has the capacity to give the increase in our soul, and learn of Him....I sorry, we will end up missing it, and mind you, your pastor is not to be blamed, nei ther the church and not even God... Oh yeah, you are to be blamed. The HolySpirit is our best bet. Create a personal time with him, and you will never be bored in this race. PS: this message is also for me. 1 Like |

Sermwell: That's true,going to church would not take you to heaven but the works of your hand,if ur good surpasses ur bad,it's automatic ticket to heaven n vice versa. Rem d scripture says whatever a man sows,he ll reap. Its good to give cos that's the only way u can receive from God: Give and it shall b given unto u. Offerings accordin to d Bible is meant for priests while tithes are meant for d needy like orphans,beggarswidows,the oppressed,etc. If u r doubting ur church,u can take it to the needy urself. It's obvious you aren't compatible with the current church you attend. Look for another there are different churches in Nigeria with different preaching styles and service structure. It's only natural that you would be bored if the system there doesn't entertain you. Once you find a compatible Church, you will always be eager to attend. |
